I spent 40 years as a nurse and I thought I was smart enough to see a scam. I wasn't. I met a man who claimed to be a trader. He sent me a photo of his passport and we planned to travel together. He convinced me to put my savings into this crypto site. The site looked so professional, showing my balance going up every day. I even took out $200 once just to see if it worked. It did, but that was just the bait. I put in $250k. When I tried to withdraw it to help my daughter with her wedding, they froze my account. They told me I had to pay 22% in "International Taxes" before they’d release my money. The police are useless; they just keep saying "we're looking into it," but it's been months.
