A typically ineffective UK enterprise - make sure you card charge back, do not return at your expense. Ordered 1 item and they sent wrong size and could not reimburse my cost to return. They were unable to say why. Unable to replace with in-stock item of correct size "because it's international", then changed their mind after a price rise, after which account appeared to be locked out. No expectation of redress after a month of back-and-forth.
Did not receive tracking number or order purchased
I didn't do my research reviews before purchasing. Ordered online got a payment receipt sent to email, and than an email confirmation of order with no tracking number, couple of days later received another email theirs a delay in my order that will take another couple of days to fix it? Still haven't received tracking number or my order, (Sale item under $40AU), was excited about the purchase. Australian customers be cautious!I would Not recommend this website/Next online
25/04 I have received the package random as their was no link sent until after receiving package (it's a hit or miss (item is of good quality). Process after purchase has lack of communication of tracking number or details that confirms your communication is with a human or auto email response. Be cautious as shopping experience after purchase is a wait and see.) In comparison to delivery from Amazon or local online that is straightforward.

I was very sceptical about ordering from Next after reading reviews but I really wanted the Pink Beach Stripe quilt cover. Decided to take a leap of faith. Was not disappointed. It was exactly as described and turned up within 7 days. Very Happy.
DishonestAbsolutely hopeless
Absolutely hopeless. I ordered some clothing quite some time ago. I only received an order confirmation with no order number and still no tracking information. Just recently I received an email saying that there had been a delay in my order but I still have no information. They make it absolutely impossible for you to contact them. Even though you are putting in the correct information, it tells you you are incorrect as a fob Off. Do not buy from these people, they will take your money and you will never see your items.

They hire the most linguistically challenged people, who either intentionally miss the essence of whatever problem you have or are skillful at a providing zero solutions to progress you forward..
Simple language, listening and comprehension skills would address almost all issues faced by their customers, however their customer service reps are like akin to communicating deep reflection to an f-boy who thinks in binary concepts & secretly hates emotion.
Answering 1 irrelevant question to you 20 pertenant ones.
They retained a gift card fund balance with the knowledge that the customer cannot access/use/spend, despite reciepts, proof of purchase and within a valid expiry date limit - losing £150 worth of gifted money.
Their practice and "resolution" - listing alternate payment methods, assistance in circumventing a valid NEXT gift card, complete with receipt - doesn't appear to be considered customer service or ethical. This is anti customer service. AVOID Next.
Package missing section
Bought items on Clearance section. Received an email to say the order had arrived, then received another email to say the order had returned. Then a further email to say come and collect your order. Called at the store gave them the code the assistant said there wasn't such an order. I complained and said Next had my money though. I was told not to speak to staff like that. Eventually received half my order and told they are dealing with alot of deliveries. Very rude staff and very unpleasant experience
Misleading Delivery Date
I bought a dress on Next for a specific event because the delivery was specified to be a week before the event- a specific date was given. It has been a week past the due date and still nothing. I called the customer service and the person assured me that I will receive the parcel the next working day but when I called again they said that it is with the courier and don’t know when I will get it.
Use a different site
First time order using Apple Pay with no option to first input your name and address details meant that an incomplete address was on the order confirmation.
They say they offer live chat yet it’s only a bot and no chat advisor was available.
Incomplete phone number on their website meant searching for 10 minutes trying to find the correct number to call only to speak with an argumentative Indian guy who says that they don’t offer order cancellations and are unable to update the delivery address for another 24 hours.
Not very good
Next are not very good at fulfilling orders. They get orders wrong or then take your money and then tell you the product or item is delayed.
They are also not good at cancelling orders and issuing refunds
Beware of this site, incorrect items and they will not return
I have shopped with Next before for children's clothing/shoes and loved the products.
I decided to order Manchester.
I purchased over $150 worth of bath linen, it arrived in a different colour.
I ordered green and I received grey/black towels.
I contacted Next who refused to return regardless if I had sent photos of the incorrect items.
I spoke to someone named Kunal, who was not helpful, but rather rude and sarcastic.
He refused to return the item or help in any way.
I won't be purchasing from Next again
Beware international fees
Beware the 3.5% international transaction fees charged by Mastercard and visa, even though transactions are done on .com.au site in Australian dollars. Can add significantly to cost of purchase in addition to cost of returns. Recently ordered a jacket and then returned in exchange for smaller size. Domestic postage (thank goodness) plus two lots of fees totalled $37.
I was happy with the quality of clothes but these fees put me off buying from them again.
Great products and fantastic value from UK retailer
I have ordered from Next many times (mostly children’s clothing) and have always been really happy with the quality, speed, value and service. Often the quality of the products have exceeded my expectations and I have been very impressed with Next overall.
Avoid purchasing from them at all costs - unless you are prepared to waste days tracking down your order
I have been contacting Next daily for over a week about an order of mine valued at over $1000. It was delivered on 1 February somewhere - I have no idea where, and signed for by someone - I have no idea whom - but not to my house or by me as I’m currently away on holiday.
I have emailed and spoken via live chat to a number of different people now daily basis none of which has been able to tell me where my order is and who signed for it.
On Friday 2 February I first requested a manager to call me back and was told they would within 24 hours. It took a further 3 requests and 72 hours before a manager called me back but couldn’t tell me anything. Apparently it takes 24-48 hours for the courier company to investigate it. Again I heard nothing.
I woke up this morning to an email from their international team member saying they were arranging for the order to be collected, refunded and returned back to the Uk! At no point did I request this to happen.
All I wanted to know was:
Where is my order?
Why was it delivered somewhere else when I was not home when it says on the delivery details that it will be taken to a collection point?
Who signed for it?
I am back from holiday this afternoon, where can I collect it from?
I have spent a week of my holiday chasing this up every single day.
Not once has anyone from Next proactively contacted me to keep me across what is going on, if there has been any progress, what is happening. Nothing.
This morning was the final straw as the person on the live chat disconnected me as I was asking for a manager to call me back urgently.
I have all the names of the people I spoke to as I have screenshotted the conversations but I won’t publicly share them.
As someone who regularly orders items from Uk retailers such as River Island and M&S I have never had such a horrific customer experience with anyone as I have in this instance. Dealing with Next has been a total fiasco from the outset and I would avoid shopping with them at all costs. No one takes ownership of the situation to try and resolve it.
If it were one person I could understand it but I have had to speak to multiple different individuals, explaining the situation from the beginning and repeating myself every single time and still I am no further forward after a week.
I’m sorry to put this out there publicly but I am at the end of my tether and feel that I have exhausted all other avenues. Even the phone numbers the person on this mornings live chat gave to me for the courier and the customer service team were incorrect!
I can’t even begin to describe what a nightmare this whole situation has been.
Avoid purchasing from them at all costs !

Purchased from Next Australia many times. Product quality is consistently high, speedy delivery times and an easy returns and refunds process if the item isn't what you want.

Recent online order. International delivery took a little longer than normal, however I find next good value for money, clothes are good quality, communication is good and I would most definitely order again.
Really bad customer service
Really bad customer service, they sent me the wrong thing and would not pay for the postage for me to return it. Just told me to do a normal return and order what I actually wanted again. Not impressed.
