I found the content well laid out with additional resources easy to find and the ask easy to understand , The support from Martin was excellent and he came back to any query really quickly and explained the questions asked really clearly. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience and the units were very relevant to where we are as a team and business. I have just completed my CMI Level 8 in…
I have just completed my CMI Level 8 in Strategic Direction and Leadership — the highest management qualification available in the UK — and I cannot speak highly enough of the experience.
From the outset, the course challenged me to think at a different level. It pushed me to apply strategic thinking to real-world governance problems and gave me a framework for producing work that is now being recognised at an academic and professional level.
I want to give particular thanks to Martin Rice, whose help and assistance throughout the process was exceptional. Martin was not just supportive — he was genuinely invested in my success. His guidance, encouragement, and expertise made a material difference at every stage. He is exactly the kind of person who makes a qualification feel worth doing.

Martin is a highly effective mentor. After just 2–3 in-depth calls to clarify expectations and the process, I was able to complete the CMI Level 8 Strategic Direction and Leadership certification within a few months.
