The course so far is great I really enjoyed learning with I think the most knowledgeable tutor Howard was an honour to be in his class
Everything was explained clearly and cleverly

Not cheap but worth every penny
The Telford Venue (Hager) was clean and well presented, The Hager staff were very welcoming and approachable. The Tutor (Andy) was great, normal person who understood we all came from different backgrounds and helped ease us all into a solid work of learning, The assessor Tony was really clear with his requirements during the exam and was helpful.
Coffee and drinks on tap was great too

Was supose to be a Full day course only given 1 hours 45mins of training before exam very disappointed in the course and the content

It just amazes me how a multi million pound company can be run so badly.
After a return from poor health to get back into work. I waited on hold for an hour each time. To be welcomed by a very clueless department of so called help. I would then be passed to another department with further wait time. To be told we cant help you because we dont have any of the information. Because departments of the same company DONT talk to each other???? And sorry that department has gone home, after waiting on hold. To be told you would get a call back the next day at 9am to be called 3 days later SO POOR. You then speak to the complaints department via email. Very rude and not understanding or willing to help at all. To pay so much money for a service this poorly run is disgusting but as all electrician know we have no choice but to use the scheme.
Only good thing i can say is my assessor Steve WHAT A GEM! THANK YOU ONLY TO HIM. NICEIC NEED TO FIX UP!

Andy Massey is a great tutor and explained all in detail throughout the week. Would highly recommend taking 2391-52 course with the Niceic.

We attended the Solar PV course at the venue in Wrexham.
We have been installing Solar PV for the past 15 years and needed to attend the course to remain compliant with the MCS & NIC. In my option this is not the correct course for installers looking to renew their qualification. There should be a separate course for installers looking to do this.
The course is also in need of some updates. A lot of the installation & design methods are completely out of date and not beneficial to anyone just coming into the field. The exam questions are poorly worded and again teaching outdated methods.
Our tutor was fantastic and taught the course fantastically. I would be happy to give more feedback if it helps improve this course.

Just done the 2391-51 I found the course very intense was disappointed that there was very little time to spend in the workshop going through testing on my practical part of the course we had a guy called Alex who assessed us what a great guy he is he made us feel so relaxed with his man management can’t praise him enough thanks

EV charging course. The course itself was delivered well and discussed the essential aspects of EV charging technology and installation and did a good job of using the book to help find answers prior to the test (which really as it is an open book multiple choice exam, is the main point of the day).

Unfortunately the lack of WIFI in the venue was frustrating and we were required to connect to our hotspots. Not a major issue for most but for some this took time and really isn’t very good considering this is a paid course.

The tutor i felt delivered everything well and answered questions/kept the room engaged. He was also frustrated with the WIFI situation and handed himself poorly when trying to resolve the matter, thus lashing out in anger towards one of the electricians on the course. I felt this was unfair of them and the “student” he lost his temper with hadn’t done anything of note to deserve this and was visibly annoyed that he had been spoken to in such a way. Hopefully it didn’t affect his performance in the exam.

The lunch provided was excellent and had it not been for the issue with the WIFI I would imagine the whole day would’ve been first class.

The course was overall very good and covered the key parts of the standard comprehensively. The instructor had excellent communication skills and delivered the material in an engaging and enjoyable way, which made the class feel lively rather than dry.
However, one important point is the duration of the course. The session started at 9:00 am but effectively finished before around 1:30 pm, with approximately one hour of breaks in between. This meant the actual teaching time was roughly 3.5 hours.
Because of the limited time, the instructor had to move through the material very quickly and speak quite fast. In my opinion, this type of course would ideally take at least a full day (around 7 hours). A longer session would allow the instructor to explain concepts more thoroughly and provide more practical examples, which would help participants understand the material better without needing to rush through the content.

there was no wifi at the venue so the online exam was challenging.People had to use their mobile phone hot spots .no good

I found that the course did not cover half of what was in the exam and I found this extremely difficult. I now have to resit this.

Tutor was very affable and focused on delivery. Nice lunch. Efficient operation.
