Dr. Hixson and Alex are the true dynamic duo. The quality of care is the best I’ve ever encountered. My adult son was diagnosed at age seven. The doctor and Alex have accomplished more in one month than other neurologists have in years. A true Godsend !!

I have been working with Alex H. and he and his team are amazing. They are truly compassionate about what they do and are advocating for the epilepsy community. The epilepsy community needs organizations such as Nile to help improve patient care, educate others outside of the epilepsy community about epilepsy, and work towards removing the stigma associated with epilepsy. I highly recommend using Nile and working with their doctors. I strongly feel long-term they are going to make a positive difference and help to create opportunities for those battling epilepsy.

Dr. Hixson has been doing so much to try to help me with my neuro issues. His staff, from Michelle to Alex (who has been doing EVERYTHING) has been there every step of the way with me. To top it off, they listen to me! Every time I ramble on or every time I cry, they just listen. If EVERY doctor I have seen had been this way, I would have stopped looking for answers years ago. Then again, I may never have found out the information that Alex helped me find! Thank you, to everyone at Nile! You won't find a better group of doctors or staff, and I've been to enough to say that...

Dr.Yoshii was very through. Many questions to understand our seizure history and medication history including side effects.
Explained how seizures get started. Also explained the vagus nerve and how stimulating it can help with breaking a seizure. We have been on strong anti-seizure meds for 35 years snd have become drug resistant.... Dr. Yoshii explained how the VNS may really help us without adding more meds.

I had a great visit with Dr Yoshi. She helps me to understand this condition better than my regular neurologist. Thanks for all your help and professionalism

Great. Dr.Hixson is well-informed about neurology, and an amazing listener. Dr. Hixson took the time to really hear me and to talk about my background. He's really polite, and has a welcoming space for patients. This was my first time seeing him and it was a good first visit.

I appreciate the effort and time given to meet my medical needs. I felt the doctor appointment was well presented and I was heard and questioned by the physician to accommodate me properly. And very please that he was able to help me obtain my prescription.

Dr Hixson is knowledgeable, clear, pragmatic, easy-going, unsurprised, down to earth, and even witty when it was appropriate. He listened closely to everything I wanted to say, was empathetic, respectful, and generous with his time. He helped me get a diagnosis and a referral that I urgently need.

Alex, the practice manager, has been the most incredible medical advocate and ally I've ever had. He's also empathetic, pragmatic, and knowledgeable! He helped me successfully navigate every road block in the complex bureaucracy of the medical and pharmacy system. Offering helpful suggestions and outreach on my behalf, he expertly guided me through a web of hoops.

Alex is the reason I won't have to get my meds filled by visiting the ER. He facilitated my referral into epilepsy specific care on an impressively quick timeline.
On the back end on the app:
I had a question about using the app and got speedy and helpful replies on how to work the parts of the app that I was confused about. They even followed up with me multiple days later, just to be sure they'd answered my question.

I 100% recommend Nile. I'm so impressed and relieved. I serendipitously found them during my escalating seizure situation.
