Ninety one have a extremely poor customer service. It starts at reception. When you phone through and ask for assistance you guaranteed the reception will drop the line and disconnect you. You seek assistance and reception have no idea who or where to put you through to. Its been 2 months and i still cant get through. Reception needs to be changed out with staff that knows what's going on. Appalling service.

Ninty one the worst customer service agents drop the line while u on hold waiting for them to check documents, they don't call back. You arrange call backs but nobody phones you back. I logged a complaint no callback.. The assessors dont call back they say documents are missing but nobody calls...
I will never recommend ninty one to anybody...

I own a mutual fund that was with Investec which became Ninety One. I have owned this fund for about twenty years. Every couple of years they write to me to ask me to identify myself. They recently sent me a ten page form to complete with my details and also wanted a certified copies of my passport and utility bill and bank account. I had to go to a solicitor and pay to get this done. They treat me like I'm a new customer that they don't know, not a client of 20 years. They have already got this information many times before. If I complain, they say that they are just complying with orders from the authorities and they have to gather all this information in order for my account to be 'compliant'.
