Strange order and pn stock infos

The on stock information isn't correct. I order a white shirt and get the invoice for it.
Get delivered a grey shirt because white is out of stock.
So why there was one white shirt on stock and grey was out of stock at the online-shop ???
First and last time i do an order there!
