Long Night's Journey into Day

The date should be October 10, cannot get it right.
After 3 weeks the program package I bought is finally working with the help of the company's chat. Before that I had cleaned the computer from all Microsoft stuff (just in frustration). This made the simple solution, a new installation, possible. I am happy with the result, but the people with whom I discussed on mail ought to have seen much earlier that such a cleaning of the machine was necessary. Which would have saved both them and me a lot of meaningless work on other solutions.
