Had my bracelet from Nogu for a few weeks now and I still absolutely love it! The firefly glass in so unique.. the full bracelet is so unique and better then what i expected from the photo.. the firefly glass charges with just natural day to day light and glows when you enter a dimmer room.. delivery to the UK was faster then expected.. the packaging was spot on and I even got a free bracelet with my order what I did not expect which is also cute.. Very happy with everything about Nogu and I will defo be ordering the mermaid glass bracelet to try next.. just wish I had more arms 😆 i have tried a fair few bracelets in the past but not one of them matches up to how cool these are.. even with some of the negative reviews I don't know what people are expecting the firefly glass of course is not going to glow for 24 hours like a lighthouse.. but the glows is definitely there.. but still I took the risk of ordering one and I am so glad I did.

"Mermaid glass" has been around for years. I make jewelry, including "mermaid glass" bracelets, on Etsy. Mermaid glass beads are super cheap - like $0.50 (USD) per bracelet. Nogu reported me to Etsy for violating their intellectual property (!) for calling my mermaid glass bracelets "mermaid glass". They trademarked "mermaid glass" in 2025 and are now reporting Etsy sellers for violations. These listings were removed by Etsy. For the record, all my bracelets are way less expensive and better made than the Nogu items, they last for years when worn with care and I offer to restring for no charge. Who the hell are these people to go after small Etsy business for calling these beads "mermaid glass" when that's how they've been known for years? What a bunch of jerks.

Have bought 3 bracelets from them. Less then 6 months before the cord wears through, rendering them useless. Had them replaced amd had the same issue. Company refuses to honor their lifetime warranty.
Avoid this product and company and spend your money elsewhere.

I have always received exceptional service from Nogu bracelets!! I have received mystery bracelets (free), and free uv light, a beautiful handwritten note with my purchases. Sherry from customer service has always been quick to reply, and been very generous and helpful. Also, the bracelets are STUNNING 😍

I used to love the bracelets ..alot over many years so I needed to get a replacement for a broken one as I have before a few times thought the lifetime warranty would always work since its their policy on June 23rd 2025 I emailed them and thought great.. 1 month almost to the day I finally received it and it was smaller and not the exact same one after at least 20 emails in that time I was given excuses after excuses and they are in Canada we are in Michigan too close to them too no tracking ever and they blamed warehouses tariffs from the USA everything but the kitchen sink literally a big bunch of crap back and forth and lie after lie and this is being nice after all the reason and persons just not caring and I finally had to say enough is enough so here I am never means never again and I wear 21 bracelets on both arms I take it seriously so beware please and when the going got whatever they say rough they got going just beware even if it happens only once to you it will stay deep inside you over all this as I said I got items from Italy and Rome and a few other places on Amazon and no excuses at all told them this is why America is number 1 goodbye and lots of monies spent on their site and they have enough excuses and not even to say hey we are so sorry so here is a bracelet not that I give a darn on a freebie but that goes to show you just how us customers are treated when it should be acknowledged like I had a say in any of it I am 65 years old so I know a tad more than they thought I did right! I feel like wow what else are you all hiding from the folks that buy your stuff? blame game isn't it!! but elsewhere and have the guarantee for yourself so they cant fudge around with your emotions shame on you NOGU

There shipping sucks. And their bracelets don’t charge ! I Left them in direct sunlight, put them in front of lights. In the light, you can see a couple beads glow but when you turn off the lights, you don’t see anything. They do not shine like the pictures they post. It’s not a glowing bracelet

I purchased a pair of earrings for my daughter. She loved them but within a week they broke. I contacted the company and they responded immediately, apologized and sent me out a new pair of earrings.

Their bracelets are terrible quality and fit way too small. Terrible customer service. Will never order from them again.

I love my bracelet! It's beautiful, high quality, and the glowing effect is a nice addition, though the bracelet would be excellent even without it.

I was surprised to get here and see 1 star reviews claiming the firefly glass doesn't glow for more than 15 minutes. The website is really explicit that they glow dramatically for about 10 minutes and that after that it's a more subtle effect you'll only see in the dark.

Nogu has beautiful pieces for $40-70 dollars and they shipped me a free bracelet with my order! It also really means a lot to me that they're a Canadian brand and a family-run business.

I loved every item that I got and have given some as gifts to people who loved them too.
I always get compliments when I wear them.

I ordered a bracelet and only a few stones glow and barely at that!! I contacted them and they were rude, I mean really rude! And for goodness sakes don’t take off the tags. They won’t let you return it even if you owned it an hour! Their gift was a cheap bracelet that could only fit a child’s wrist. I’m totally appalled by this company and their business ethics. I won’t buy anything from them ever!

I came to trustpilot to see the reviews before I ordered, and some of the 1 star negative reviews make this company sound really bad. But ultimately I trusted in the 80% of you who gave them 5 stars. I ordered over $250 worth of bracelets for Christmas presents for my family and they did not disappoint! Everyone loved their bracelet and the glowing firefly glass. They most definitely last a while, I've gone to bed hours later with the bracelet on and I still faintly see the glowing dots. The bracelets were very heavy from the glass beads and were definitely high quality. Someone said they were AliExpress beads, but trust me, I searched but didn't find anything like these firefly beads on there. Also my shipping was only 2 days, probably from how much I bought.

Total false advertisement! These only glow for maybe 15-20 minutes and you have to be in a totally dark room, so you just can't wear to a restaurant for example. Customer service said glow lasted for hours - total lie! Also can't return earrings, which is only listed in return policy; girl very rudely told me I should have read before ordering. Definitely returning!

The company's "easy returns" are anything but easy. The mermaid beads do not sparkle or glow and the firefly beads only work for seconds. They are cheaply made. So when you go to make a return you learn how not easy it is. First you email that you want to return. They take their time but eventually e-mail asking for exactly the same information you already gave them in the first email. Then you respond and immediately tell them that you already gave them the information but here it is again. Then they wait several days to tell you that they are escalating your return. Escalating what? Just give me the return label your website promises. So when I respond angrily that I want the return label already they state that it will be sent from another email shortly. Days go by and nothing. So then I email angrily and they finally attach the return label and an explanation that the return will be delivered to one location but then shipped to another location to be processed so that will take several weeks before they can even process the return. This doesn't seem like a normal return process, let alone "easy returns". I hope I get my refund for these products at all. I won't every purchase from them again and have blocked their adds on Facebook.

Long post, but I break it all down. Overall you should not purchase from this company.

Firstly, its clear that this company engages in paying for positive reviews, you can tell from the positive reviews below (and across all their socials), for lack of a better term, they are very generic.

I purchased several bracelets and a necklace from NOGU in June. The items took a while to "process" but arrived quickly after that. As someone who has experience with drop-shipping, this was already a red flag.

I ordered both their 925 sterling bracelets and their normal pendant necklaces. These items are not high quality. The "handmade" firefly glass beads feel like plastic beads and the bracelets are made from the stretchy elastic you would find at any craft store.

The necklace is made of a low quality alloy, not stainless steel or any higher quality metal. The 925 stamp was only on some of the clasps, but not anywhere else on the 925 bracelets.

The glowing "firefly" effect is really a gimmick. What they do not tell you is that the glow fades within seconds and only works with a UV light. Two of the bracelets I ordered did not even glow anymore - so there is no quality control, another sign that these are mass produced.

If you watch their TikTok and social media you can see almost all of their reviews are from paid influencers. There is also no storytelling of them hand making any of these bracelets - they just do clickbait style videos - yet another red flag.

So after all of that, I did return my entire order. It has now been a month and I still have not received my refund. I will contact their customer service one more time, then I will report them to the BBB. A company cannot wait a month to do a return.

I would advise that no one should purchase from this business, they have misrepresented themselves and the quality of product is not there. Plus keeping a customers money for a month is very shady.

1. Postage took way too long ample time was given even for overseas
2. Customer service is shockingly bad
3. Sizing is abysmal I brought this for an average sized 21yo. Would strain to fit a kid.
4. Should be called no good not NOGU

horrible customer service and even worse products

I ordered a grey bracelet.
I got a blue bracelet.
I also got a free gift bracelet which would only fit a child.
I am not impressed.
With the gift or the product.

I would have given more stars however my last experience didn't fill me with joy.
I received my first order (and yes their jewellery is somewhat pricey) however I'm grateful that it wasn't as bad as some other reviews I've read.

I wanted to order some more.
Added some things to my cart, then a while later, all my items disappeared. I had to go through the entire process again.
So the above didn't reoccur I added items to my wish list.

Then when I went to place my order all my items in the wish list were gone even though it said there were 59 there! I took screenshots.

Then placing the order, there is no Afterpay option or pay in 4, Zip etc.
It's all to be paid up front! To me, that's ridiculous.

When I emailed I got some girl who told me that their "wish list" option doesn't work! So why is it there?!?
Didn't explain about payment options just sent me a screenshot of credit card logos. I knew all that already and then said "have a great day!"

Well Nogu, you've lost a customer.
I had over $200 in my cart and now after this, I don't think I'll be buying anymore.

I notice from the ad that these are "designed in Toronto" and "ship from Toronto" but notice they don't say it's made in Toronto. They are made on China. You can get the same stuff direct from China for two bucks.
