They purchased Santa Barbara Uni for our dinner over the phone . Delivery was ready in 2 hours. I also bought the prime ribeye dry aged steak. My friend grilled the steak , medium rare , we then put an uni on top and put some Black Russian caviar on top . The taste was amazing . Here is a picture .

Update - to be fair: we had the Wolffish last night and it was delicious. Nordic Catch sells a wonderful variety of fish, at competitive prices. Received the order promptly - less than 24 hours! - everything still frozen - so that went fine. My big gripe with Nordic Catch is that their e-commerce platform DEFAULTS to signing you up for a Shopify/Shop account, even when you DECLINE that at check out. I placed my first order, paid with my credit card, declined the "Shop" offer - all good, right? WRONG. I was immediately bombarded with emails and text messages from Shopify / Shop, insisting that I complete the registration of my account, etc. I contacted Nordic Catch - and they informed me that Shopify is the "platform" they use, so ALL of their customers are automatically enrolled whether they like it or not. So Nordic Catch is sharing my personal and payment information with a nagging, spamming e-commerce platform that I want nothing to do with. I did request that Shopify / Shop delete my account - but first they forced me to complete my "enrollment" before I could request the account be deleted. And who knows if they really will delete it? In addition, I found out that once Shop/Shopify has your information, they track you all over the internet and hi-jack every purchase you make on any site that uses Shop/Shopify. To say this is an invasion of privacy is an understatement. I'll be dragging this unwanted Shop association around with me like a string of old tin cans.

This kind of thing makes me FURIOUS. I will never place another order with Nordic Catch, because I value my personal privacy. I encourage anyone who orders from Nordic Catch to be very sure they want to be enrolled in a Shopify/Shop account, because that's IS what is going to happen to you.

And while I appreciate the response below - it's more or less the same that I got via email - a polite version of "sucks to be you". Ironically there IS something that Nordic Catch could do about this: use a different "platform", or at least set it on their website so that it does not default all orders to Shop.

This was my first order from Nordic Catch. I ordered 2 of the: Sushi Delivery Kit – Omakase Nigiri, No Prep Needed. While I'm sure, according to their stellar reviews their fresh and frozen sushi fish is very good. These ready made,frozen sushi trays are pretty lousy. Oh, it's a very novel idea and a lot went into the packaging and presentation. It was admittedly fun to put the pouch in the water and watch it make steam to thaw the Nigiri pieces. Sadly, that was the best part of the meal. The sushi itself was poor and inappropriately fishy in flavor and comprised of extremely thin, little skimpy pieces. All in all, it's a novel idea who's time should not have come. From now on, I will order their actual sushi fish and make my own.

What an awesome company! I Recently ordered some frozen seafood which was shipped overnight via UPS and was set to arrive Friday. Due to UPS delays the package did not arrive until Monday evening thawed out but still cold. I received a phone call before my package even arrived stating that they had noticed my package had been delayed and they were prepared to send out a new package if mine arrived in poor condition. I called them back Monday evening and let them know the condition of my seafood and a new shipment arrived Tuesday evening completely frozen! Very impressed with the customer service I received. Thank you Nordic catch.

Fish is the freshest and best tasting you can find, and I love that it’s cleaner than store bought seafood!

Some of the items that I bought were for the first time. We needed and received wonderful guidance, I would have bought four times as much fresh wasabi had they just accepted my order. They checked and suggested the correct amount. I bought the stainless steel grater. It was great! No pun intended.
The salmon belly, was great, as always. Really sashimi quality. The scallops were a huge hit.

We have ordered from NC 16 times & counting. This is the best salmon we have EVER had. We would rather cook their salmon than go to an award-winning restaurant. All the fish, the dog treats, the salt, the vegan - all of it. THE BEST. If we ever have a problem- which is rare- they make sure we are taken care of. Speaking of rare - a company with this kind of concern for their customers' well-being. Thank you NORDIC CATCH. We will be customers for a long, long time.

My order came couple days late by ups I dint take a chance to cook and eat the meat .. but I order same meat before is the best meat I ever had they are the best and also they send me the same meat I order before for free I will recommend 100 pursuant thank you for best and fresh products and be best customer service *****

The customer service was great. I ordered the uni, they called and let me know they would be diving tomorrow and sent out the same day. The uni was absolutely amazing, buttery and sweet. They sent mushroom salt as a gift and I will be buying some as Christmas gifts. The salt is perfect and light and flaky

The vegan salmon has a slimy texture and almost no flavor. Also bought the vegan tuna and calamari but haven't tried them yet
