I buy from them regularly. Never had anything but an exceptional service. The customer experience matters to the staff and owner. They do everything fairly and even offer refunds if you find the same item cheaper somewhere else. Prices are always competitive but to me thatâs secondary to the customer care. Always post on release day too, not a week later. Couldnât recommend them any higher. Thank you.

Wrong copy sent
Ordered Megadeth's final album, specifically wanted the red vinyl of all the colour runs available. Ordered confirmed, clearly affirming the colour correctly. Waited 2 weeks, only because I also ordered a copy of the cd as well which seemingly took that long to obtain from their supplier, although they still should have sent the vinyl straight away. Had they done so this following mistake may not have occured.
So they supposedly reserved my red copy but on arrival it was black.
I emailed them immediately on delivery and opening for the initial reply to consist of "sorry we must have sent your copy to someone else, we don't have the orange one nor can we obtain the orange one.
So in reply I reminded them it was the red I was after not the orange, to which the reply was "we are talking about the same variant and still cannot supply it"
Clearly we not talking same variant as there are both red and orange variants of this album, as well as a few others.
So clearly the don't know their ar$e from their elbows let alone colours.
Best they are willing to offer at this stage is to over 20% to keep it or return for refund.
But this absolutely does not account for the future price of the vinyl, as even now they are going for more on eBay not doesn't accept for the cost of acquired it from anywhere that may still have it at retail cost.
Independants cry out to use them, even though it's often higher cost than hmv, and when you do this what happens.

Peaches and creamy dream
To be honest this was a no brainer for a preorder in December. I've been a huge Peaches fan since the 2000s. The album arrived in the post today and I look forward to listening to it later. Sleeve is in good condition and I thought that I was going to have to pay customs charges coming from the UK but didn't thank feck. Kudos to all at Norman Records for their speed of delivery and pristine limited edition vinyl ð

Norman Records had it and sent it promptly and perfectly packaged. Iâve since used them again and had the same excellent service. Fantastic communication, quick delivery, great buying experience!
Norman Records set the bar for high quality customer service
I've been buying from Norman Records for a few years on and off now, and never experienced any issues or had to interact with customer service in any way, because the service has been quick, easy and up to standard.
Then, last Christmas, I ordered a copy of On the Beach by Neil Young when a reprint became available. Unfortunately, due to the popularity of it, Norman Records were unable to get as many copies as they had ordered from the distributor. The website did say it was on order when I bought it, so all good, I was happy to wait.
After a couple of months, Norman Records customer service reached out to me to say that unfortunately they would have to cancel the order and refund me as there would be no more copies coming. I told them not to worry about a refund, I'd find a replacement, as this record was supposed to be a Christmas gift so I still owed one!
Then life got in the way and I completely forgot about sorting this order out, until a few days ago when I was thinking of Christmas this year. I emailed James at customer service this morning, thinking that since I hadn't spoken to them in about 8 months I might have blown it. To my surprise, within 5 minutes he'd replied to me with a voucher code so I could easily get my replacement.
Honestly, considering how annoying this process could have been elsewhere, it was less than painless to deal with James and the customer service team. Transparent, friendly and very effective. They absolutely rock. Almost feel glad my original record didn't come, cos now we've got two awesome discs on the way, and I've also got the warm fuzzy feeling of having been well looked after.
Buy from them, you won't regret it.

arrived on Friday, one of the pre-orders was incorrect and wasn't the album I requested.
Cant fault the speedy response, confirming that an error had been made. and I respect the accountability from that perspective.
But sadly the only resolution on offer was, there is no stock now , so send it back, and if the person who got my order contacts them , then I can get the option to have it.
in the mean time I need to send the other one back and get a refund.
This was to complete my collection which will now remain incomplete.

Terrible service
Terrible service, pre ordered an item, tracking didnât update so I sent an email asking when it had been dispatched, was told the Tuesday (new releases come out on a Friday) I then got an email from Royal Mail saying my parcel had ended up at Poole depot which is hundreds of miles from where I live (I live around 30 minutes from Leeds) my parcel shouldâve gone to the Sheffield sorting office which didnât happen, once I found this out I then emailed Normanâs Records again to ask what was going on and that I now would receive my pre order on the actual release date despite them posting it to me on the Tuesday. They then proceeded to use the feeble excuse of hiding behind Royal Mail (out of our hands etc etc) no solution was offered nor any help on how I was going to get my order on release day which was the whole point of preordering it in the first place, i couldâve gone to a record shop on the Friday and bought it over the counter, will never use them ever again, a place to be avoided thatâs for sure! Update, Iâve just seen the tracking (itâs now Saturday) and guess what? Itâs still nowhere near where I live and i wonât be getting it today either, will be lucky if it arrives at all
