Very high failure rate. Do not buy from here. Two fobs now do not work. And professional auto re-keyers have warned me, they will not buy products from North Coast Keyless. Too many problems. And customer service was so bad, I can only catagorize the person I communicated with as a complete moron. Stay away from them. Cheap poorly made fobs with circuit boards that may or may not work, and if they do they may wear out quickly. And if you have to work through a warranty claim, God help you.

We bought a remote for our 2022 Ford Bronco Sport (Outer Banks trim). It is legit!!! We had it programmed and it locks/unlocks and remote starts the vehicle. Works GREAT!

The information provided related to programming was not accurate. They accepted a return outside of 30 days with a penalty, which they should have done with inaccurate information. However, the fob was never used and was in mint condition.

I was on a wait list for a key for my 2016 Mercedes E400. I finally was notified that it was in. I wanted to make sure that I had the right fob. I called the dealer and got the exact part number. I then contacted Northcoast keyless with the information. I never heard back. I could have paid for the fob and found that it wasn't the wrong one!

Waste of money and time...get a key from your local locksmith and have them cut and program it!!!! The keys they sell run on different "frequency" so you're probably going to get the wrong fob! Wrote to them about it and didn't get any help ..just "you should have read the description better". Save your money, time and sanity and order your fob from a local locksmith!!!

They don’t stand behind their guarantee. I did not receive their e mail with my ra # within the seven days so they refused to refund me or help me get the fob programmed. I paid over 100 dollars for a product I can’t use or return.

Although the reviews here made me nervous my order was delivered fast and was the correct key for my vehicle. A+++ service.

My only advice is to make sure that you understand how to program your key to your vehicle prior to purchasing. Luckily my vehicle was easily programmable, some vehicles are not and require you to go to the dealer.

DIDNT SEND THE CORRECT FOB,THEY SENT A USED ONE, WHEN I PAID FOR A NEW ONE.IT WOULDNT WORK WHEN THE LOCKSMITH CAME OUT, THEN THEY SAID THEY NEEDED THE EXACT PART NUMBER FOR MY CARS FOB, GAVE THEM THAT AND HAVENT HEARD FROM THEM,,,,,,AND THEY DONT HAVE A PHONE NUMBER ASSOCIATED WITH THEIR SITE OR BUSINESS,,,,SO THEY LIED AND THEN REFUSED TO COMMUNICATE, LESSON LEARNED IS USE A LOCAL LOCKSMITH WHO HAS ACCESS TO KEY FOBS, STAY AWAY FROM NORTHCOAST KEYS.

I ordered my Keys yesterday. I ordered them Priority Mail from NorthCoast Keyless. I was sent a confirmation that my keys were shipped, then I went and looked at the tracking # and it was said that my order was cancelled. So, then I called my CC company thinking maybe they bounced the transaction, but they did not money went through. So now I am not able to get ahold of anyone because they do not have a phone number to call. I then called FedEx, and their system said sender cancelled my order. Unbelievable disappointed. I hope someone contacts me so that I can write a new review saying they cleared this up for me. As it stands, I have no car and am just on the phone once again clearing up incompetence!

Company sent me tracking number which is not matching with USPS and Canada Post.
I didn't receive my order after two weeks of waiting.

Update: Sent a reminder to NorthCoast couple weeks ago re: intention to return the wrong FOB and get the right one, no response from NorthCoast yet. Am now giving it 1 star as customer treatment do seem like scam company.

Well I ordered a Mercedes FOB, which i received timely and in good shape, in terms of appearance. Locksmith person here specialized in German cars told me that I got a wrong FOB with wrong FCC ID, even though NorthCoast representative had previously told me this FOB would work on my car made and model, a 2010 S-Class. I took the FOB to dealer also, they didn't want to deal with it. So FOB looks great, but am not sure going to work, or if electronics inside is good and can be programmed. I sent a message to NorthCoast to return the wrong FOB, hopefully get the right one and try with that one, didn't receive any reply from NorthCoast. So far it didn't work for me. Yes you can gamble with it in hopes things work, you might have to consider the money spent as sunk, so not too emotionally attached to it as most likely won't work on a Mercedes, at least to my experience..

I saved over $100 Cdn and the fobs were exactly as advertised.

You will see reviews that complain that the vendor claimed the user could program the fob themselves, but they were then told to go to a locksmith. This is because the MANUFACTURER did not make the vehicle user prigrammable. Furthermore, BEFORE I ordered, I simply clicked on the instructions link and they clearly stated that this was the case for my vehicle. Don't blame the vendor because YOU the buyer failed to read your homework when the vendor already did your homework for you and you were too lazy or stupid to click the link and read! Sheesh!

I do not work with or for the vendor, this is the 1st time I used them. I will use them again for sure, do make sure you read the programming instructions before you order and don't blame the vendor if you can't be bothered.

Northcoastkeyless.com publishes reviews saying their remotes don't require dealer programming, while removing reviews correctly pointing out that not only do they, the requirement for programming is pointed out as a reason to offer no customer service.

Bought this key fob to replace an eBay knock-off that was crap! NorthCoast is the best!! Dealer MSRP $221.25, online dealer discount $194.70 plus tax. I saved a little over $144.76!! You can't beat that! Although NorthCoast doesn't have programming instructions for Subaru, the instructions are in the owner's manual. Easy enough. Thank you very much, NorthCoast!!

I bought a key for my 2019 Prius and it was reflashed and works great! Saved tons of money and their customer service when I had questions was stellar!! I HIGHLY recommend North Coast Keyless!

I ordered a key fob specifically for my car. The product description for the item that I ordered stated that it would work for my brand, model & year. It also stated that FREE programming instructions would be included. The free instructions were NOT included. A card pointing to the programming instructions web link went to their site but stated instructions are not available for my vehicle and that I should contact a locksmith. Apparently their idea of “free instructions” is not charging for the advice to contact a locksmith. They offered a refund but not return shipping cost. So, it is not guaranteed satisfaction that you would expect.
