Fast, reliable service from this company. I have bought from them a couple of times now. Their honey, that I have tried, tastes really delicious. I recommend buying from them.

I purchased the heather honey to replace manuka honey which I'd been using for a health issue. I was a bit worried about the change and whether heather honey would be good enough and which heather honey to buy (I overthink!).

I am blown away with how delicious and wonderful Northumberland Heather honey is. Its fabulous! And the customer service from this company, is truly perfect. I am so happy with the care and understanding I was shown by the staff.

As with the other reviewers, i have bought queens from NH over the last couple of years. I first ordered in the autumn for next spring and in mid-May the following year the queens arrived very carefully packed and healthy. About a 75% hit rate i.e. 3 out of 4 survived and established themselves. But that ratio I think was more my mistake in not preparing the colonies effectively (making them hopelessly queenless for 48 hours minimum; making sure to check for queen cells etc).
Since then I have ordered on a few occasions when disaster strikes and I've not had time to see through a full breeding cycle. The success rate has been much closer to >80% i.e. better than 4 out of 5 surviving to establish themselves.
NH have always been brilliant at communication, answering questions, being supportive and most importantly delivering good quality queens.

I’ve bought a few queen bees from here and they’ve all been superb. The queens have turned out very placid and friendly bees that are easy to work with and produced plenty of honey.
The staff are friendly and helpful with lots of knowledge.
I highly recommend this company to buy bees and won’t go anywhere else when I need more queens.

I was looking everywhere online for some bee's wax candles and after noticing from reviews it seems like the majority of sellers out there just sell fake bee's wax by mixing it with other contaminants to cheat people and make more of a profit so I was relieved to come across Northumberland Honey online. I don't give out positive reviews unless a company has really impressed me and these guys have. I could tell straight away that these guys were the real deal, genuine, honest, well educated, cared about their customers and their business, professional and sold high quality products. No issues with ordering and the candles I ordered arrived the next day with no issues (free next day delivery with DPD). From what I've researched genuine bee's wax candles should smell of honey and these smell amazing! The aroma from the candles is absolutely incredible! I would strongly recommend ordering from these guys and I'll look forward to ordering from them again, finding a company this good is pretty much unheard of these days.

I ordered the Added Pollen Honey, hoping to help my son’s hayfever allergy. The honey arrived the next day, perfectly packaged, and is the most delicious honey we’ve ever tasted. Too early to say if it helps with his hayfever but I’ll be ordering more from this lovely company in the future. Thank you!

bought one of their VSH Queens last year to replace a Queen in a hive showing high mite loads. A first I thought they were a bit slow taking off compared to my other Bees.
Well take off they did and are steaming ahead of my others. Honey yields are higher, mite drop is almost non existant, very little if any smoke is needed and this is the only hive that have not tried to swarm this year.
So this year I bought 2 more VSH Queens and these hives are now following the same pattern.

They really care about their customers, I asked if the Queen bees I needed could be sent earlier, they could not have been more caring and accommodating. Arrived as promised, very well packaged in a purpose made box, not in a cheap jiffy envelope like other companies. First class.

After reading about the company, decided I would like to support them by placing an order for 2 pillar candles. Th delivery stated 1-2 working days, and did not arrive as expected, so I emailed for an update. Luke replied almost immediately with a solid explanation and reassurance the order would arrive. It arrived the next day. I am really impressed by the quality of the product, and the way it was packaged, beautifully wrapped - it is clear they care about the product they make, and the service they offer. 5 Stars for Luke. You have yourself a new customer. I will be back, and I will also be recommending.
