Useful and offering lots of opportunities if you're not going to uni
Was quite useful, I've only looked at the website a few times but when I did there were good opportunities being advertised.

Great place to find an apprenticeship
Great site for finding and applying to apprenticeships - frequently find myself recommending people to look at this site in order to explore apprenticeship options or keep on top of potential vacancies.
Generally functional but in some areas in need of an update - visually the design looks a bit tired. Additionally would be nice for an easy apply feature / integrating applications into the site - Thereby actually utilising the details entered into NGTU.
Otherwise a great resource.

A very useful resource
As a Careers Adviser in a Sixth Form college, I find 'Not Going to Uni,' a very useful tool to use with students who are considering an alternative to the traditional HE route.

Sometimes the clients will close their opportunity early and before the advertised date set, this is due to application numbers or other factors. We suggest once you've seen a job go live that you like, click apply as soon as possible. Also, make sure your profile preferences are all up to date to keep on top of our latest roles. - Kris

Not going to UNI has given some unique experience to it's users by creating such a user friendly site. Though it should make available some more relevant apprenticeship or training program with the detailed eligibility criteria.

Hey Rinpoche, some great feedback. Although some of the apprenticeship roles might have certain criteria for the specific job we try to keep the job listing as welcoming to everyone as possible. Every time you apply the recruiter will get notified of your application, then it comes down to the recruiter whether you're successful to the next stage. - Kris

I had not heard of Not Going To Uni (despite being the very definition of that) until I attended a Job Club at my local library. I found an apprenticeship in sociology I never knew existed with a non profit Institute of research which was so perfectly suited to me.
I found it and applied just in the nick of time before closure of applications and received a 1st interview in London and a 2nd over Skype before later being informed of becoming the successful candidate and obtaining the one position they have available each year.
I am thrilled and Not Going To Uni found the perfect higher education (work place training/paid/degree) that was just right for me. I’m currently in the process of relocating to London!

I didn't find an apprenticeship, but NotGoingToUni helped me realise there are other ways to go about finding a job and gaining experience by showing me there's an alternative to university education.

Hey Annie, that's a real shame but we believe everyone will follow the right course whether that's apprenticeships or university. There is so many available choices post education, you just need to find the best route to match your type of learning and development.

Absolutely Kaushal, it's a brilliant way to access known named brands and global companies. The apprenticeship route allows you to combine on the job training, career development, salary and even sometimes a sponsored degree. Who can argue with those factors? 😉Thanks again!
