I bought a proxy package from Nsocks for Google search scraping. Right after activating it, every request to Google started getting blocked — 429 errors and redirects to /sorry/index (Google's bot-block page). I tested this across multiple different tools/browsers (patchright, Camoufox, Obscura, CloakBrowser) to rule out my own setup, and every single one hit the same block or timed out. Their support gave me a few "fresh" sessions to try, but those got blocked too — same 429/blocked pattern, meaning the IP pool itself looked flagged/blacklisted by Google rather than there being a config issue on my end.

We also spent hours chasing what looked like a separate connectivity issue (ports, IP allowlist, firewall), but even after that was sorted, the core problem remained: the proxies simply don't work for Google search — they're recognized and blocked immediately.

On top of that, pricing was inconsistent — I was promised "35GB for $25" more than once but got less delivered, and had to re-negotiate the same deal repeatedly.

When I asked for a refund since the service didn't work for its actual purpose, it was refused, citing their policy, with no real fix offered.

If you need proxies specifically for Google search/scraping, be aware — in my experience these IPs are already blacklisted and won't get you past Google's bot detection.
