Update
I wrote a review how my new 4 seater ashby sofa had no feet on delivery.
The customer service with oakland furniture dealt with the problem. I received the feet within 7 days. And a technician came out and fixed the problem. All done with 10 days of taking delivery of my new sofa's. Very happy how it was all dealt with from customer service and the technician to fix the problem.
So now I can enjoy my new sofa's.
Thankyou oakland furniture.

I will never purchase anything from this company again? I purchased 2 sofas on 10th September and expected it to be delivered today 18th December. I have just been notified it will not now be delivered and no gaurentee it will be delivered this year!
I’ve sold my old suite so nothing to sit on over Xmas with guests.
No explanation given. I am so annoyed and disappointed

Terrible company - Table and 8 chairs ordered 8 weeks ago on day of delivery had a message to say the table wasn’t able to be delivered until March 2026 although stated when ordered guaranteed delivery before Christmas. Have requested a temporary table replacement as have people coming for Christmas - waiting to hear back. Would not recommend buying any furniture from them. Numerous phone calls to them this morning to be told delivery can be next week with table and chairs to then have a message to call them again and they have stated this was incorrect information and they can’t deliver the table until March!

We had a fantastic experience at Oak Furnitureland thanks to Fabian. As first-time home buyers, we were completely unsure about what we needed—whether it was the right sofa, dining table, fabric, or even how to work within our budget. Fabian went above and beyond to guide us through every step. He was incredibly patient, never rushed us, and offered thoughtful suggestions that genuinely helped us make the right choices.

Fabian also deserves an honourable mention. He helped Mo wrestle.the Madison chest into my car before explaining why it would not fit. Obviously a Jenga player! Heads up to the Stevenage boys at Roaring Meg retail park.

Furniture good quality, but delivery men useless. Left a heavy sideboard on it's end and wouldn't help me right it. It could have been damaged when correcting, so will never use them again.

Really annoying radio advert. Puts me off the company completely

We ordered a table and chairs set from Oak Furnitureland in Hanley in July and it's now the middle of October. I contacted their customer services and only received the requested transcript of our conversation after I published this review (which, I think, tells its own story). Very, very disappointing so far from Oak Furnitureland and, having read the reviews on here, I'm not feeling too optimistic about either the revised delivery date (the original delivery date was beyond ridiculous!) or the quality of the assembly of the items, at the moment---. And, yes, I've already asked for a goodwill gesture for our unreasonably long delivery time. Guess what---? :(

We went to their showroom and their salespeople were quite pushy, but we found a table and dining chairs that we liked, the ordering process was pretty smooth. Issue is when the delivery arrived it came packed in the most insane amount of plastic and styrofoam you could imagine. A month later I'm still finding tiny bits of packing styrofoam floating around my house, and we had to book a trip to the dump to get rid of it all. The table also came with a mark, which I complained about and never heard back. The chairs are so creaky every time you sit on them, I ended up turning the chairs over to see what was going on and half the screws are missing, the rest are loose, and when I went to go tighten them, realised most are threaded.... insanely poor quality for the price we paid. Will not ever shop there again and would warn people to avoid.

Visited the Plymouth store and was helped by a lovely man called Iain who I believe has not long started he was not pushy sales in anyway he listened he spoke to us he guided us we actually went back the next day to look for him specifically as we had visited other stores looking at sofas and we went back as we knew this man would help us the sofa we chose was right for us wouid recommend this store for not being pushy and listening to customer needs

I only have 4000 words so this is a short version.
We had the Morgan 5 piece Corner unit delivered in Sept 2024 from Oak Furnitureland, ( OFL) The sofa initially looked great. However, after a few months we noticed the materiel covering the sofa begin to sag, and wrinkle. It was also uncomfortable.
The arm rest nearest to me is virtually flat and i can feel the wood underneath, it’s sewn in so it can’t be un zipped.
We switched the seat cushions with ones we don't use very often and they felt better for a short time. but after time were also uncomfortable.
By this stage the sofa started to look old and no amount of plumping up would change that.
The sofa was now causing back aches and brought on sciatica,
We contacted Oak Furnitureland and they said they would send out a technician from Emmiera to check it over.
This was a waste of time, and i don’t have enough word space to go into their visit.
The technician attended and we tried to explain what the problem was
However, he stated that he was only there to see if the sofa was damaged. ( we had never said it was damaged) just that it had inferior foam and hollow fibre in it.
Then after being in the house for 5 minutes he said he was going to leave, WHY? Because he said my wife was being rude to him?? Her crime was that she rolled her eyes at him when he was dismissing her claims that the sofa’s foam and hollow fibre wasn't fit for purpose.The technician spent 30 minutes inspecting it and fluffing it up. I took photos 10 minutes after the technician left, after i sat on it and the sofa looked just as bad as it was before his visit.
The technician didn’t do any Firmness (ILD) or identify the density of the foam that I could see, and compare it with a new piece of similar foam.
In our opinion the foam in the seating isn't good enough to support our weight and inferior quality..
The none plump foam in the seats is in two parts, blue and white which have been glued together. ( poorly)
When I sit on the sofa the foam collapses and goes straight to the wooden frame and supports underneath it feels hard.
The back rest isn’t supporting our backs and is causing pain in the upper shoulders mainly for my wife.
It wasn’t like this when we first bought it so it must be inferior foam and fibre being used.
The hollow fibre in our opinion is compressed too much to do its job and there is no support. I am now having to resort to sitting on a cushion on top of the original sofa cushion, it’s that uncomfortable.
We sent another complaint to OFL about the sofa.
In May 25 I spoke to customers services again and he said, the Emmiera report stated no manufacturing fault with the product.
However, if we weren’t happy with the product still they could send out another Emmiera technician to look at the sofa again? “Really?” was our reply. We refused this option.
We said we wasn’t happy with that and wanted to speak to a manager.
I reiterated the reasons why we wasn’t happy with the sofa.
We pointed out that the only remedy that we would be happy with was a full refund, because in 12 to18 months time this sofa will be ready for the rubbish tip.
We also stated we didn’t want another technician coming out to inspect it and wanted to speak to a manager.
The OFL customer services rep then said he would get someone to call me back later, or the next day.. Guess what, that didn’t happen.
Our point of all this is; Avoid this company, but also do your homework on sofas and the type of foam and fibre being used in the sofa you choose. Worst sofa we've ever bought.
As it has been hinted at by some people on various forums that OFL use different types of foam on sofas in store, to foam that is actually used in the product that gets delivered to your home. Visited another OFL store today and checked the foam in the same sofa. Result? I'll save that for my next complaint.
It’s that bad there’s a Facebook page dedicated to disgruntled Oak Furnitureland customers.

Avoid…..Avoid……when they want to sell sofas they are sweet liars and after deliver they don’t care about customer….technician told is manufacturer faulty sofa they have deliver and ask them to collect both sofa and refund my money…trying to Ripped off me more 2K.

Disappointed with Quality & Customer Service from Oak Furnitureland

In 2021, I purchased nearly £2,400 worth of furniture from Oak Furnitureland’s "Willow" range (a painted grey oak, now discontinued), including a dining table and a nest of tables. Unfortunately, both the dining table and the top nest table have started losing their paint, despite careful use in a home with no children or pets—just a couple in their 60s.

When I contacted Oak Furnitureland for assistance, I was told nothing could be done as the warranty had expired after just one year. This suggests their furniture is only designed to last a minimal amount of time, which is unacceptable for such expensive pieces.

I then asked if they could at least provide the paint colour and type used so I could attempt repairs myself, but they claimed they had no way of finding this information. This lack of support has left me frustrated, as I now face either costly repairs or replacing the entire set—made even harder since the range is no longer available.

For the price paid, I expected much better durability and customer service. Sadly, I cannot recommend Oak Furnitureland if you're looking for long-lasting, quality furniture.

I want to buy a new bed and have all oak furniture land everywhere but the last experience was awful - lots of stuff damaged and too much hassle trying to sort out so I just kept what I had but eventually it will all be replaced for something more expensive but ultimately way better.

Avoid avoid avoid,

I bought a bed from oak furniture land after 2 days the bed started squeaking. I spoke to the customer service they sent a company to asses the company told me it was manufacturing issue. I spoke again to oak furniture they insisted to change the slabs , few days later same issue I called again they insisted to asses again which shouldn’t have been the case because it was the same issue and clearly said manufacturers issue. I was dragged so long and when someone from the company they hire to asses was surprise he is here when we were told it’s not going to solve the issue. Few days later the bed snapped in 2 while parents was sleeping called the company panicking to be told nothing they can do , had a nervous breakdown on the phone to be given to speak to a manager bed was replaced 10 days later broke again. Very stressful process. Company should advise that this shouldn’t have taken this long listen to your customers and treat them like you would like to be treated.

Very poor service and extortionate charges. Bought tv cabinet was £9,99 to leave outside. £30 to put in room of choice which as a pensioner paid this. Young chap put large box in room. Asked if he was going to get it out of box. He said no as I would have had to pay £100 for that. This is daylight robbery I would not use this company again.

Would not recommend. Used to be a great company and we've ordered from them multiple times over the years. However we're having real problems with our new mattress and Customer Service don't want to know. Absolutely no aftercare or consideration for the customer's experience after purchase. If you're hoping for a good will gesture from them, you'll get less than nothing. Clearly do not care about customer loyalty or retention.

Sadly won't be ordering from them again and will take all future business elsewhere.

Avoid.

We were assisted by Liam today. He was very pleasant and professional once we explained we were looking for a compact table and chairs he showed us the one that met our requirements it was exactly what we wanted we chose the chairs from a great range of designs and colours. Liam was very patient and helpful he gave us plenty of time to decide what we wanted. I have purchased from oak furnitureland before I have found their furniture to be of very good quality and long lasting.
