Everything you need at one place. I got lift up bed, corner sofa and couple arm chairs. Delivery was quick and they even waited for us to be ready as we didn't receive keys for new place. Really friendly staff and they helped us putt everything together up on delivery.

What a great place for furniture.
Wonderful service from the lady who served me,we had a great conversation .must say I received a personal one 2one service.
Would highly recommend this place as they don’t just do furniture, great pictures excesories etc.
And thankyou to the manager for the free gift my husband loves it.

If the stock for all tastes at great prices doesn’t get you your perfect furniture the customer service of staff and owner will. Went for a brows and have come out with a sofa spot on for us. Can’t wait to pick it up. Thank you Wayne.

"The company That saved Christmas" - After being let down by Furniture Village yesterday we were left without a sofa for Christmas after rushing a refurb to ensure we were ready to accept the new sofa.
A quick trip to these guys at Oaklands and within an hour we had a new sofa on order, better than the original we chosen and to top it off they supplied us with a brand new suite to loan until the new sofa is ready for delivery, They really made our Christmas and i cant thank them enough.
we have used Oaklands previously and i would recommend these guys to anyone and everyone. A+++++ Service guys and couldn't of been more helpful. thank you .

What A Crock of Sh!t

Now, can I just clarify a few points following your response to my partners review……

“Thank you for your feedback. We’d like to clarify a few points based on your review….”

“Your partner contacted us to say the sofas you ordered were too small and wouldn’t work. In response, we offered an upgrade to two 3-seater sofas, which was a better fit for your space. This upgrade should have cost an additional £100, but we provided it free of charge as part of our commitment to customer satisfaction. Your partner was happy and said this would work.”

****** This is true, but you failed to mention that you refused to give a full refund, apparently even though I called literally 30 mins after leaving your shop, I was told the payment had already been processed by accounts!******

“Following delivery, you raised concerns about dirt on your carpet and a spilt drink. Our drivers returned to investigate, and they reported no spilt drink or mud on the carpet. They also noted that there were existing marks on the carpet before delivery. Additionally, there were several obstacles in the room, including spectacles and electrical wires & furniture which made it difficult for the drivers to access the space.”

****** This is where your response gets amusing, no one returned to the property to see the damage caused! I have CCTV footage to prove this!
As for existing marks, the carpet is brand new!! It was honestly only fitted just a week or so ago.
I removed both of our old sofas from the lounge the previous evening, so to use a feeble excuse of furniture being in the way is rubbish, and I’m puzzled to know where these electrical wires are, as this really does sound like a dangerous hazard******

“You were not ever called a Liar and that in itself is a lie. We offered to send someone out to assess and address the carpet issue, but we were unable to proceed with that plan as you requested immediate action from the driver and they return immediately you also mentioned you would be charging us by the hour for us to return. When we explained our process, the conversation ended abruptly, with you stating you would leave negative reviews everywhere and you hung up.”

******So in a previous paragraph you stated that your drivers returned to access the damage, but then in this paragraph apparently you were not able to proceed, so who’s lying now??

The fact you insist the damage was already there, is unbelievable! Are you seriously making out that my partner tipped a glass of liquid over on the carpet before you arrived and then proceeded to blame your drivers?? You’ll be saying next that she ran around the garden and then wiped her feet on the carpet before she answered the door!!! ******

“We always strive to handle concerns professionally and resolve them fairly. We appreciate your feedback and are committed to ensuring the satisfaction of all our customers.We have only good reviews regarding our staff. However, we can not work to resolve a situation if a person is being unreasonable.”

****** As a professional who works in the homes of the general public daily, I would personally would expect your team to carry ‘over shoe’ protectors, or a sheet to put down on the floor to wipe their feet on. You certainly need to learn to accept responsibility when accidents happen! As for your customer service, it is an absolute joke. No apology has ever been made as far as I’m concerned, I would have refunded the delivery charge myself if one of my employees had caused damage. I definitely would have not responded to a client in the rude way that you have dealt with this matter! ******

I ordered a new sofa from this store, but when I got home, I realised it was going to be too small for my space. I called immediately to cancel the order and was told they couldn’t offer a refund, but they could “upgrade” me to two two-seater sofas instead.

Unfortunately, the so-called upgrade came at a cost I wasn’t expecting. When the sofas were delivered, the delivery team left muddy footprints all over my carpet and even managed to spill a drink in my home. I called the store to inform them of the issue, only to be called a liar and to be told that I did not empty my living room. Which is strange as I emptied all my furniture out of my living the night before!

This experience has been extremely disappointing from start to finish—poor customer service, careless delivery, and no accountability for their mistakes. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone

Was looking for a top quality designer two and three seater sofa but only wanted to pay a fraction of the big brand stores prices and wanted next day delivery to an address about 25 miles away from the store.
While browsing we bumped into Wayne who listened to our requirements and the sofas were delivered the next day by a great three man team who unwrapped them and placed them where we needed.
Sofas look great modern and stylish.
Will definitely return and would certainly recommend to any one looking for good old fashioned customer service and quality furniture.

Excellent service from Oakland, a family run business. Sue advised us on a mattress and was very professional and friendly. Shall definitely return. Delivery drivers were great too

Outstanding service when we needed a repair immediately after delivery. Their technician came out the following morning and replaced a cable and spent some time ensuring the main’s cable did not snag on the metal frame. Very impressed.

Brilliant customer service and extremely helpful! My partner and I went into this store for the first time last Saturday to pick a new mattress. We found the most comfortable mattress at such a good price and ended up leaving with a new dining table and chairs. Given the offers and quality of the furniture, you could not miss the opportunity. Brilliant service, friendly staff, amazing quality furniture—we will definitely be back to this lovely store!

Was walking around and felt ignored. I appreciate it was busy at the time but didn't feel welcome and left after about 5 minutes.

Brilliant company - bought a beautiful sofa on the weekend which is excellent quality and a complete bargain! Arranged delivery for first thing Monday morning and the whole process was so smooth. They are very accommodating and friendly, could not recommend this place enough.

All good - so easily confused between 2 furniture companies with a very close name

They have a fabulous range of furniture, that really caught our eye. We were then surprised at how reasonable the prices were. We bought three chairs and a bed, which we are very pleased with. The service was excellent, staff are friendly, efficient and knowledgable.
Highly recommended, likely to be back soon.

Visited the store looking for a new dining table with chairs. The team were so helpful, gave us a great deal and couldn’t have done more for us. It’s not often you leave a shop having spent a considerable about of money feeling great about it. This is the difference in using a family owned independent business over an uncaring big brand store

I placed an order in February and waited four weeks, was then told the item wasn’t in stock and would take another 4 weeks. I decided to give them more time but had not received any update after another 4 weeks. The salesperson said they needed another 2 to 3 weeks but after that I haven’t had any response fr them despite my request for a refund.
To the company: please don’t reply here and ask me to get in touch a you could have just responded to my emails.

My daughter who has a disability has just moved house and her double bed was to large for her new room. We went to Oaklands furniture with a limited budget, the lady on reception was lovely and extremely helpful, we needed the new bed asap as she is in supported living. She waived the delivery fee as my daughter did not have enough money and the bed was delivered in a couple of hours thank you so much Oaklands furniture you are all wonderful and very helpful staff.
