I had intensive therapy with OCD Excellence several years ago, I was drowning with my OCD, constantly fighting. When I met India I knew straight away that I was in good hands. Therapy was tough, you've got to put the work in but the skills you learn are skills that will last a lifetime. I'm now doing really well, I'm managing my OCD because of the skills I was taught. India is so kind, caring and knowledgeable, she is without a doubt the best in her field. I am so thankful I found OCD Excellence.

OCD excellence helped me so much when I was in a very dark place.

One of their therapists taught me the coping skills I still use to this day to keep my OCD under control. The sessions were always well managed and I always felt treated with the utmost compassion and respect. If I was struggling again, I would not hesitate to go back into therapy with this organisation.

The skills I learnt have been invaluable and even though I live with a chronic mental illness, it doesn’t debilitate me any more, as it did before I had my therapy.

In comparison to other OCD therapy providers, sessions were affordable and therapists were available to fit into your schedule, and not the other way round.

I simply don’t know where I would be today without OCD Excellence, and I really couldn’t recommend them enough. So grateful to them for helping me get my life back!

I can honestly say that my treatment for OCD with OCD Excellence was life-changing. There is no other way to describe it. The combination of approaches, tailor-made and so specialised to the condition was spot on. For the first time in my life, when I met India I just knew I’d come to the right place. She totally got it and that was entirely clear right from the start. I owe so, so much to India and will be forever grateful to her for helping me turn things around for myself.

If I could give zero I would. Dreadful customer service, failure to respond to important queries or to follow up after a session in a timely manner, they only responded when prompted by emails from me. I believe that I was misled from the outset as to what the company could offer and this was upsetting and frustrating to say the least, especially when dealing with something as horrendous as OCD. Please don't expect any form of formal (official) diagnosis of the condition that would be acceptable to a third party professional (such as other health care providers or educational establishment) as, despite referring to 'assessments' and 'diagnosis' in their promotions and correspondence and on their website etc, I don't believe this business has staff qualified to offer such a formal diagnosis of OCD. In retrospect, I feel that when looking past the London address and the high profile on social media, particularly of the lead therapist, what this company actually offers is basically counselling and this is what their therapists are qualified to do, nothing more. Everything comes at a cost, £123 for an assessment which we were led to believe was for a diagnosis but, when we complained, were later told this was actually a prerequisite appointment via Zoom so the therapist can get to know the potential client ahead of any further sessions and the client can ask questions. The diagnosis referred to in their email outline of this Zoom, we later discovered, is an 'OCD Excellence diagnosis'. It was not acceptable as an OCD diagnosis by my child's educational establishment, the reason we sought this in the first place (and this had been made clear by me from the outset). The only positive is that we were promptly refunded the fee. I'm guessing poor reviews are not something the business wants. However, I feel so angered and misled that I believe a review in these circumstances is necessary. OCD Excellence need to be far more transparent, I feel, with regard to what they're offering and what they're qualified to provide clinically when working with such a debilitating condition - where potential clients will be in need of reassurance regarding the level and type of support they can expect. In my opinion, as someone who took time to research before booking, this business appears (on face value) to be able to offer something it actually can't so people need to be aware of this if they're expecting a formal diagnosis of OCD from a suitably qualified professional. Their therapies may work, I can't comment on that, but they can't provide an official diagnosis of OCD that's accepted as proof of the condition to educational/ medical organisations outside of their own company. They need to make this very clear.
UPDATE AUGUST 2024
I received an email to inform me OCD Excellence had replied to my review. This is TWO YEARS after my experience!! I can only assume some change to their policies or concern over poor reviews has prompted this recent reply? I do want to clarify that the reply states I was not their client. This is false, and the fact they claim I ticked a box to agree to seeing their terms and conditions when booking (perhaps these too have been recently updated since I ticked?) indicates I did indeed pay for their services for my daughter who accessed the first online appointment. This reply also states that they do not charge for letters etc however this is not what we were told two years ago, so perhaps another change has recently been made? I can only comment on our experience of this company at that time in July 2022. I still stand by everything said in my original review. Thankfully my daughter has since received an official diagnosis and appropriate treatment for OCD through the NHS.

After three hours waiting on the phone I still cannot get through, I am so angry.
