I was honestly a little scared to sign up with OCTB because I wasn't sure they were legit, but I had an excellent experience with them! My son was able to take live tutoring classes with Verónica (who was fantastic!) 5 times a week for a very reasonable price. He graduated so he no longer needs to be taking classes, so I canceled our subscription... and kind of held my breath, because I thought "and here's the part where they keep charging you endlessly and you can't find a way to cancel..." but when I emailed the company, I was answered promptly and courteously. Vladimir went above and beyond to put my mind at ease that my subscription was actually canceled. And guys, I have waited to leave this review until the renewal date has passed, just to be sure. Sure enough, no more charges to my card! Honestly, I hope someday my son wants to continue learning Spanish someday, and if he does, OCTB will be my first choice. 5 stars all the way.

The OCTB classes are best for fresher to learn english the teachers are very good in their profession they are highly knowlegable and the management is supportive

This is the only way to learn a foreign language. The instructors are all fantastic! They tailor the lesson to where you are in the language and where you want to go. Every instructor has been extremely knowledgeable and fun to work with, and the staff couldn’t be more helpful.

Rocío is one of my favorite instructors! She makes lessons fun and interesting! We have many shared interests like baking, cooking, and vegetarian foods! y en español: ¡Rocío es una de mis instructoras favoritas! ¡Hace que las lecciones sean divertidas e interesantes! ¡Tenemos muchos intereses compartidos, como hornear, cocinar y comidas vegetarianas!

I tried several ways to learn Spanish, including various apps, private offline classes, individual lessons, but OCTB proved to be the best solution for me. I reached better progress in 1,5 months, than I used to have in 2 years.

I mostly need Spanish for work, and I liked it that my tutor Gonzalo has adjusted our lessons in a way that we discuss work-related stuff and I enrich my vocabulary. Just what I needed.

What I also like about OCTB - is that it creates the individual homework, tailored for me. I correct my own mistakes, and it makes the whole process a lot more efficient and fast.

I highly recommend OCTB platform to learn Spanish, the value truly exceeds the costs.

I have tried several different platforms to learn Spanish and OCTB is the one I found to be the most beneficial! My teacher Rocio is wonderful and I am already seeing some great progress! I totally recommend it!

I've been a student of OCTB Spanish for almost a year and I couldn't be happier. I've studied languages for many years and OCTB has, by far one, of the best teaching methods that I've ever used. My instructor Alejandra Ardila Téllez is awesome. You can't find a better person to guide you through the complicated process of language learning. I highly recommend OCTB. It will not disappoint.

I had an excellent demo lesson with Valeria Galvis Mususu. She was easy to understand and guided the conversation perfectly. She assisted me when needed but it felt like I was speaking with a friend. I will definitely schedule more lessons with her to advance my spanish.

Jorge Cruz had me at ease right away. From the beginning, he didn't criticize my spanish and had me speaking without reservation right away. That's not something I allow myself to do. Great Job Jorge.

This site is great and my coach, Veronica Torres, is more than helpful. Super fast replies, friendly, and just awesome! They even edit my Spanish essays when I need to. I would recommend this site to anyone who needs to practice Spanish with natives. It is very affordable with a high quality of service.

Daniel Cruz is an excellent teacher. He is patient and is open to talking about whatever you as the student want to. But he also has lots of great questions to ask to get you engaged in an interesting topic. There's never a lull in the conversation. He is funny and kind. This one-on-one tutoring is also extremely affordable. I subscribe to eight 60-minute classes a month and only pay 8 USD an hour. I asked him, and he said he is paid a generous wage for these tutoring sessions. I'm getting more confident speaking Spanish and slowly but surely I am getting better at listening and understanding, too! 10/10 would recommend if you need to improve your vocabulary, speaking, listening, and conversational skills.

My 9 year old son has been using OCTB for Spanish classes for a month now and we are beyond happy with the results. Before we found OCTB, he had been studying daily with another well-known online language system for over a year. He has made more progress in the past month than he did in the last year with the other program. The one-on-one tutoring system gives him the individual attention that he needs. Student talk time (The most important part of language learning) increases with each lesson and he is becoming more comfortable speaking each day. Errors are corrected immediately and correct grammar is solidified through homework. Most importantly, he feels truly cared for by his tutors, so he wants to learn with them. He loves Alejandra, Veronica, and Patricia, who teach with patience, passion and fun. We whole-heartedly recommend OCTB Spanish.

I have been using OCTB for over one year and my Spanish has expanded. I have noticed the most amount of growth in my comprehension. Before I started, I had a lot of trouble understanding native speakers; however, now I am able to comprehend, no matter the tutor, no matter the accent. Second, my growth in vocabulary has been pretty good and I'm much more comfortable with the different verb tenses (especially the past subjunctive). I really like the OCTB platform and the opportunity to find high quality tutors who are available consistently, which has been the key to my progress.

I have been using OCTB for over a year now. Why because I enjoy learning Spanish with native speakers from different countries and backgrounds. The platform is also easy for doing your homework and reviewing each lesson. Give OCTB a try you will not be disappointed and your Spanish will improve immensely

This platform has been transformative. I had studied abroad in Latin America when I was in undergrad college but over the last few years my Spanish had gotten rusty. Through classes with phenomenal teachers, Veronica, Sandra, Yessica and Patricia, I have gained more confidence and comfort with the language than I ever did before. Now I feel comfortable speaking about concepts at my professional job, writing and reading articles on my free time and fallen in love with the language. After a year of zoom classes, I feel personally connected with the teachers and encouraged to grow.

While I had knowledge of Spanish grammar and a foundation before I joined OCTB, this program is great for all levels. The set up is individually tailored to each student.

This is better than any university course I took and beauty is to be able to schedule classes at your convenience.

I cannot say enough good things about this program and i learn something new every time I log on.

I have been learning Spanish with YouTube and Duolingo for a few years. As of today, my current Duolingo streak is 767 days. But I was never going to speak Spanish that way. I needed soemthing more.

I discovered OCTB in January/22. I love it! I connect with native speakers in 1on1 zoom sessions and actually hear and speak Spanish. Each instructor offers unique styles and we discuss different topics. But each class is tracked in the OCTB software where I can review each lesson. The instructors log our conversations and highlight areas of improvement - "mi tarea".

I recommend everyone wanting to learn Spanish to give OCTB a try. Do not be intimidated. I am from Canada and have very little opportunity to hear Spanish - much less speak it. But I have had more than 40 classes with 5 different instructors and each has been fantastic. Easy to understand and very good at coaching me to start speaking spanish.

What got me to register for the first free lesson was a YouTube video. Look for "Overcome the Barrier" "Spanish live lesson with a native speaker".
It walks through an example class. So I clicked the link for the free lesson.

Since that first lesson, I have been doing about 3 sessions every week. Once of the best parts of OCTB is the scheduling. You basically have "minutes" that you can schedule with instructors. And it is very flexible. While you can set "recurring", I usually adjust my schedule every week as I have time. There are many instructors - so you find someone that can align with your schedule, even it if needs to be a class Saturday at 6AM or one for Tuesdays at 9:30pm.

So keep up your Duolingo - the grammer and structure is very helpful. But actually talking with someone in Spanish is so much better!
