Issue Handled Professionally – Full Refund Granted
I slipped from a free trial into the paid Pro Plan and was billed three times (USD 24.99 each) even though I never deployed a bot. Support refunded the most recent invoice immediately but initially said the earlier two were outside their 14-day window.
What went well
• Same-day replies, polite tone.
• Detailed policy & EU-law explanations.
• After I provided invoices and zero-usage screenshots, they re-examined and refunded the remaining USD 49.98.
• Money hit my card within five days.
• They even offered two complimentary months of Pro Plan as goodwill.
Could be better
• Early messages felt a bit template/AI-generated.
• A renewal reminder before the first paid cycle would help.
Overall
OctoBot ultimately chose the customer-friendly path and earned my trust. I’m now keen to actually try their trading features.
