Man kann sich auf die Cams keineswegs verlassen. Nicht mal mit Speicherkarte. Solarpanel ist viel zu klein um die Cams aufzuladen. Ich muss öfter mit powerbank ran. Und wenn sie mal ohne Strom offline geht dann ist sowieso nichts mehr. Software kann man auch über die Häuser werfen. Es taugt von denen gar nichts !

Bought one of these cameras, less than a year ago,worked fine,mind you all the ads,then off and on connecting to internet,tried everything, no go,don't buy one.

When you first install it, the O-KAM app hasn't got any ads for a month but after that the app gets useless (not stable) and ads are popping up all time because they want to force you to buy an ad free subscription. Don't buy a security camera as they are not telling you everything up front!!!

Their Human Detection and Human form detection software, as to prevent false alarms is GARBAGE! Does not work. Get false alarms when a shadow is cast against the van, or a dog goes by, or a palm tree leave blows side to side. Software triggers EVERY
THING. Plus THEY changed the voice notification to a Chinese female voice, after 1-2 years- annoying pitch, hard to understand. HAd to record my own voice. Also, they repeatedly harass regarding upgrading to the subscription service, try to be funny with the 'No' response written as 'Cruel Refusal'.

It is ridiculous

Tengo dos cámaras de éstas.
Las tengo instaladas, una más de un año y la otra unos seis meses.
Son solamente problemas y más problemas.
Algunos de estos:
1.Anuncios- pagas algo para ver sus anuncios, tienes que esperar para ver sus anuncios, siempre.
Si quieres entrar en la app, primero tienes que ver anuncio, después ya se muestra la cámara. Dentro de la app, por debajo también tienes anuncios permanentes
2. Continuos cortes -si tienes suerte de ver lo que pasa delante de las cámaras, de repente te echa afuera de la app y tienes que entrar otra vez, claro está que tienes que ver sus anuncios.
3. No funciona -La cámara muestra que la batería está llena, derepente pierdes conexión con ella durante tres o cuatro días, después se establece el servicio pero muestra 1% de energía en la batería de la cámara. Y ves en el grafico de información que de 100 ha caído a 0 en un momento.
4. Si quieres ver tus vídeos desde tu tarjeta en la cámara, siempre, siempre te dice que no hay tarjeta en la cámara, para que te pilles sus servicios de grabación en la nube. Pasando medio minuto te dice que si, que tienes tarjeta y puedes ver tus propios vídeos desde tu propia tarjeta desde tu propia cámara.
5. Problemas varios con el sonido que nunca puedes oír en directo, con la grabación que ves el vídeo pero ya no hay nadie porque entre que se ha despertado la cámara, ha empezado a grabar y no se que y si estás grabando algo más rápido que un caracol moribundo ya se ha escapado y ves un vídeo vacío. Y algún problema más, que es agobiante (por ejemplo siempre te salen que tienes que contratista servicios en la nube y además sale de tres formas diferentes)
Ahorate problemas y comprate algo que merece la pena. Huye hermano

Awful cameras
I was away from home and the battery ran down on one camera. The camera was said to be Offline. It seems there is no way to get it back online. The camera is fully charged and I then uninstalled it, thinking that re-installing it would be easy. It's IMPOSSIBLE. At one stage they say that I should scan the QR code but how does one do that when the QER code they show as an example doesnt go away. These cameras are JUNK and I am now looking for a new system. I will NOT be using any O-Kam rubbish

Caméra facile à installer, très bon rapport qualité prix.

My son bought 4 of the cameras last year because someone tried to break in. A year later not one of them work. Which really is irrelevant because any chance of catching the perpetrator on camera if he came back went out the window because he would know that I had a camera ..I had to charge them down at least once a week to charge them. And since the motion detection really didn't work unless it felt like it a perpetrator could walk right in front of the camera right up to your front door and then walk back past the camera without being detected. Do you like ads? Okam assumes you love and need them and will bombard you with them trying to get you to buy space or a plan for cameras that you paid for. I don't mean once or twice, I'm talking every single time that you log into the app. Before you watch recordings. Plenty of recordings of birds flying by but didn't catch UPS not FedEx not the mailman not the neighbor coming over not the kids going trick or treating no humans were recorded but it'll pick up a bird for u.
I almost pick up bird watching as a hobby just because there was so many recordings of them. I wish someone had wrote a review like this before my son wasted his money don't waste yours

The cameras don't record and the battery. Don't stay charged Worst investment of my life? Don't buy

Camera went off line can't do anything, I'm a retired technician and checked the battery, dead! Also states that battery in not replaceable, maybe for a non technical person. Obviously solar panel failed. I HIGHLY recommend staying away fro this company and their products

Biggest waste of money ever!! Has never worked properly since I bought it, did all troubleshooting steps muliple times. Hours of messaging to customer service with no positive result. Worth spending more to get a product that works...

First off let me say that I am a real person. I bought my cameras this year (2025)and I love my cameras.
They are extremely affordable (which in this day and age is almost unheard of), easy to set up, easy to mount, the video quality is good, the app is also easy to use and provides several options. I have no clue what these negative reviews are talking about but I will be buying AT LEAST 3 more cameras and maybe other products they have.

Intrusive App!!

Viol de propriété privée, géolocalisation pas obligatoire pour communiquer avec le wifi, et ce meme si activé ça ne fonctionne pas, demande de QRcode en double, ça fonctionne au début, pas à la 2ème (d'abord pourquoi devoir scanner 2 fois), usine a gaz cette appli de m...

J'en ai cassé mon téléphone, et j'ai acheté une caméra pour rien, allez tous vous faire voir chez les grecs!

Lol.... don't buy this Camera please is a waste of money and there is not support, not refund..it only works sometimes on the O-Kam App on android phones.. not software for Personal Computer.. not Good period!!

Takes to long to download, and screen covered by adverts

Camera good but can’t look at anything as always shows unmovable adverts on screen of phone , so stupid really good camera you can’t see , so frustrating I don’t bother
