Oliver Wicks truly tailors the experience to you. They are very thorough in ensuring your measurements make sense. The process took about 6 weeks from the time I sent in my measurements with my order to the time I received my tuxedo in the United States. This is the best suit or tuxedo I have ever owned by far. I have always struggled to find pants that fit me, even after getting them tailored. Because Oliver Wicks takes so many measurements, everything fit incredibly well. It was comfortable, but also well fitted. This was well worth the price.

TL;DR: Oliver Wicks offers the most logical cost-benefit proposition in menswear today. By delivering full-canvas construction and premium Italian/British fabrics for the same price as high-end off-the-rack brands, they provide roughly 90% of the bespoke experience at a fraction of the traditional custom price point.

My trajectory through suiting has been a search for the best "return on investment." I’ve run the gamut from entry-level "budget" suits that were durable but bland, to high-end retail staples like the Brooks Brothers 1818 series, and even local custom shops.

My conclusion is that unless you are prepared to spend upwards of $3,000 at a local tailor, Oliver Wicks is the most efficient use of your money.

The "Sanity Check" Value
Online made-to-measure can be a gamble, but the Oliver Wicks process mitigates that risk through an impressive human element. I used my existing custom measurements as a baseline, and their team acted as a rigorous filter. They "sanity-check" every number and insist on photo confirmations to prevent user error. While my first suit was a hair snug in the gut, it was completely wearable, and that data allowed my second suit to be 100% dialed in.

Superior Specs for the Price
When comparing Oliver Wicks to retail giants or local shops, the hardware you get for your dollar is significantly higher:

Premium Mills: You have direct access to VBC (110s and 150s), Alfred Brown, and mohair blends—fabrics that usually command a massive markup were I to get one retail or have it custom at a local suit shop with that fabric.

Construction: These are full-canvas suits that feel weightier and more substantial than the thin, fused options found in "express" or department store lines.

Total Versatility: Whether it’s a standard business look, a cocktail suit, or wedding attire, you can add vests or extra trousers to fully customize the utility of the garment. Again this is still cheaper than an average retail one. Worst case, it's same price but that's onyl with a vest and extra pants.

The Time Investment
The only "cost" here is time. The first suit requires significant back-and-forth and a roughly 5-week wait. However, once that measurement profile is locked into their system, the friction disappears. Subsequent orders are faster and more reliable, making it a sustainable long-term solution for building a high-quality wardrobe.

If you are looking for the "Goldilocks" zone (where quality meets sensible pricing) this is it. You get a suit built specifically for you, with better materials than retail, without the $3,000+ local custom price tag.

I love Oliver Wicks. My most recent Vendetta Premium Dark Navy Birdseye Suit is my seventh purchase and might be the best. It came out the box ready to go, not even any wrinkles.

This was the best experience I’ve ever had with a made-to-measure tailor. The dinner jacket is a perfect fit and they customized the lapel exactly like I wanted. Carissa was amazing throughout the entire process, always communicating and making sure that my measurements were accurate. I will absolutely be ordering my suits from Oliver Wicks from now on.

I thought about an Oliver Wicks suit for a long time. Worried to pay $$ and have a bad experience. I finally pulled the trigger. My spouse, who was extremely distrustful of the idea, helped me with the measurements.
After ordering, I soon got a message back about a trouser length measurement that did not seem right. On remeasurement of an existing trouser, the first measure was short by at least 2 inches.
At any rate, received the suit and it was perfect! No tailor needed to look at it. My suspicious wife loved it!

The quality is genuinely best-in-class—beautiful fabric, sharp structure, and the kind of craftsmanship you can feel the moment you put it on. Oliver Wicks (in my opinion) stands out as one of the top MTM companies specializing in tailored clothing.
While I haven't tried their overcoats and chinos, their slacks, dress pants, and blazers are crafted from premium Italian fabrics, including Vitale Barberis Canonico, Loro Piana, and Guabello. They also offer quality British mills as an alternative to Italian textiles if those aren't your cup of tea.

The construction is quite solid; coats are canvased either entirely or partially, and the fit is consistently excellent.

If the initial fit isn't perfect, the company works diligently with you to adjust the measurements — free of charge, which is fantastic and shall be the norm within the MTM fashion industry.
Customer service is outstanding, and prices are fair—considering the quality, they represent a great value.

Although not inexpensive, the price-to-quality ratio is impressive, meaning the apparel you get there isn't cheap by any stretch of imagination, but it's a pretty reasonable price for what you're getting for your investment

As long as the standards and prices remain, Oliver Wicks will continue to be my preferred choice for suits.

The silk pocket square is gorgeous. Mimi in customer service was stellar - she kept me up to date on order processing and was so pleasant to work with. This company knows how to make and sell garments. Bravo!

Purchasing a made-to-measure suit, when done so online, can be stressful for the obvious reasons. But Carissa, my customer support representative, made it an absolute breeze above and beyond the user-friendly interface and video guides already provided by the company on their site for measurement purposes. She was courteous and is a consummate professional. The suit itself is superb; it absolutely meets and exceeds my expectations in terms of quality and craftsmanship. I will almost certainly be purchasing another custom-made one from the company in the near future.

Customer service and communication are excellent. I had some reservations about ordering a custom suit online, but the site made it easy to execute the measurements, and the ongoing communication made it a lot less stressful. Pants fit was slightly too big for the first time, but I've made some adjustments for future orders (which has already been made)! Jacket was perfect. Fabric and construction are outstanding. Their offer to pay for any alteration adjustments within one year is legit. Highly recommend.

I have purchased several suits and blazers over the years have had nothing but a great experience. My most recent purchase included a significant weight change from my last requiring fresh measures. I incorrectly calculated one measure and OW reached back out to confirm saving me from a bad result. Incredible personalized service which is amazing given I have never been in the same room as the tailor.

I custom built a three peace suit as I had three weddings this year August and September. The process of taking measurements and picking styles was lengthy but worth it in the end.
