From the moment I went in to the hospital I was given nothing but care. My surgeon, coordinator and dietitian was all incredible. I couldn’t have wished for a better surgeon to do my surgery. Thank you dr cem arslan for changing my life

I want to extend my deepest thanks for your incredible hard work and dedication in coordinating everything for me from the moment we arrived at the airport to the hospital visits and all the way back. Every step of the process was handled with such professionalism and care that it truly made the entire experience worry-free.

Your support throughout, especially in providing the necessary medications and guidance, made a world of difference. I felt genuinely looked after and never once had to stress about the details. That level of service is something truly rare.

Please also extend my gratitude to the coordinator, doctors, and nurses involved. The entire team went above and beyond, offering a level of care and attention that, sadly, is often missing in our own country, where the healthcare system is struggling so much.

The procedure itself was fine. Everyone we dealt with was polite. The trouble was the staff at hospital, they would let an empty iv sit for hours without disconnecting me. Additionally, when I was allowed to take a shower, we had to ask 3 times for towels, and THEN it wasn't until we asked after shift change did someone bring us towels.

From first contact with Leila my coordinator all the way through to arriving back home my treatment and care was exceptional. Leila arranged absolutely everything and was in contact with me the entire time, she was always so friendly and helpful and was happy to answer any questions I had.
Clinic and staff were superb, Dr Chem Arsalan and his ream were always very kind, willing and helpful and if I needed help they answered my button straight away.
Hotel for 2 days was extremely comfortable, I had everything that I needed from the hospital team and the hotel staff would pop by daily with tea coffee and water.
My flight home was delayed but that wasn't a problem, Leila rescheduled for me and I was able to stay at the hotel with no extra charge ...
My surgery was a great success and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Olympia to anyone considering going to them ...

Despite my own initial nerves and anxiety, everything went to plan. Even despite our flight delay. I can’t thank my coordinator and all at the Ozel Tusa Hospital especially Dr Arslan enough. The treatment was exceptional! I’m home and 8 days Post Op, feeling good and with the pre post diet, I am already down almost 13kgs. Excited to see what the next few months look like 🥰

Fantastic! I chose this clinic above others because of their communication was clear and prompt right from the first enquiry and it continues through to this day (8 days post-op). The facilities and care given to me during my stay in the hospital was second to none. Everything was arranged for me from the time I landed in Istanbul to the time I left to fly home - couldn't ask for anything more! I had gastric sleeve surgery in October 2024. The contact with Olympia was great, fast and efficient replies regardless the time of day. The only confusion was when I was meant to start fasting as the pre-op information said from midnight before surgery but no one seemed to be able to explain if it was midnight Turkish time or English time. I was told I wasn’t allowed to drink water during this fasting period but when I arrived at the hospital and I had documents to read and sign it stated that I was water up to 2 hours before surgery. When I landed at Istanbul airport there was some issues with the transfer the man at the airport told me I wasn’t on the list and this took some time to sort. Arrived at the hospital quickly and everything was efficient with paperwork and pre-op tests. All staff were great, I was very pleased when the doctor said I would be going in first. When out of surgery and returned to room, the doctor and nurse were there but nothing was mentioned to my mum (who came with me) if the surgery was successful or not etc. That evening I was in a lot of pain, my mum asked the nurses for pain killers I was told I couldn’t have any until 8. Still suffering from the anaesthetic I was in and out of sleeping, about 9 I was begging for pain relief. My mum asked the nurse and she said she would be in shortly but no one came for 30 minutes, as my pain was getting worse my mum went again to find someone and the nurse said yes we are dealing with someone else and will be with you but my mum saw the nurse was playing a game on her phone, I didn’t get my pain killers until 10.30pm. The nurses on Tuesday were on top of my pain killers and I suffered with high blood pressure which was monitored closely. The doctor visited again but I was still struggling to stay awake from the anaesthetic, he asked me why I looked like I was in pain and explained I was very tired and fell back to sleep but again nothing was said to my mum about my surgery. I never saw the doctor again so I assume my surgery went well. There was constantly a lot of nurses in the room at once talking to one another but no one introduced themself or why they were in the room. I met the dietitian on Wednesday which was all good. On Thursday the day of discharge, I again had high blood pressure which was monitored in the afternoon but when nurses swapped shifts my blood pressure wasn’t checked again. Thankfully I think I only had high blood pressure from the stress. I was very nerves about leaving the hospital for obvious reasons but also because I know Turkish taxi drivers can drive very chaotic but this driver was amazing no bumps what so ever. The transfer to the hotel and to the airport I couldn’t fault. The majority of the staff during my stay were accommodating, including the cleaners and the people who brought the food round every time I saw them or they came into my room they spoke to me regardless of the language barrier and always smiled.

Treatment was outstanding, hospital amazing, and we had someone to support with English. Food was not great for the person with you but husband would go out in to the town to eat. Aftercare is brilliant, when ever you contact you get an answer straight away. In 5 weeks I have lost 37lbs and I feel amazing

I recently had my gastric sleeve surgery with Olympia Group, and the experience was truly exceptional. From start to finish, everything was handled with utmost care and professionalism. The transport arrangements were seamless, making my journey stress-free. The meals provided were nutritious and delicious, which was a pleasant surprise.
A special mention goes to the team for accommodating my mom with me during my stay. It made a world of difference to have her by my side, and the staff ensured she was comfortable throughout. I’ve did my gastric sleeve the doctor was great . Journey is not easy but it will be so so worth it . Elmira is the best she will take care of any of ur needs she is just the best .If you want to loose weight do it and you will love your results .Definetly pick this doctor and Almira.

My wife recently underwent a gastric sleeve surgery at this clinic, and we are extremely satisfied. Everything went smoothly without any complications, and her body recovered quickly – we were home after just 5 days. We received everything that was promised. A special thanks to the warm and caring coordinator who guided us from start to finish. It's been a month, and the results are even better than we expected. We are grateful to everyone for their excellent work and professionalism. We highly recommend this clinic to anyone seeking reliable and compassionate care.

The treatment received is worth more than 5 stars, but I don't have that option. Everything is very well organised. I went to Cyprus without a companion and they really looked after me. The cab driver was waiting for me at the airport with my name on a board, and took me straight to the hospital. The hospital is very well organised, they've waited for me outside and soon as I got out from the cab they took me upstairs to the bedroom, which looks more like a hotel than a hospital.I chose Dr CEM ARSLAN after reading the reviews but also because of Leila, who reassured me all the time 24/7 before the surgery and we keep in touch still. She also organised everything very well. The staff at the hospital are amazing, words cannot describe how well I have been treated by all of them. I am now one month after having the bariatric surgery done and I am in touch with a dietician for everything I need to know and to also follow a personalised diet plan. Dr Cem is very professional and I really recommend him for bariatric surgery 100%. I also want to say a big Thank You to DR CEM ARSLAN and all the amazing people working with him. You all really made a change to my life.

I was very nervous about having my surgery abroad I went to Cyprus to have my gastric sleeve at Cyprus central hospital the care was fantastic from start to finish. Dr Cem Arslan preformed my surgery he was great. The medical treatment was fantastic I am 7 days PO and don’t get me wrong the pain wasn’t nice first few days but I flew home less than 3 days after surgery and I was fine. You are given everything to come home with and explained I can’t thank Olympia enough for changing my life I am so grateful. You are collected easily from the airport the hotel was fantastic my partner was with me the whole time has had 3 meals a day, a bed all in all I can’t fault it one bit.

I don’t know where to start!!! The whole process was amazing! I went for a gastric sleeve surgery on 8th May 2024 and the communication was and still is very clear and they’re quick to respond to any questions I have. Approximately, two weeks before I would book everything I had a video consultation with both my coordinator Leila and Dr. Cem whom would be performing the surgery. After that video call I immediately felt that I made the right choice. No other company or doctor would ever take the time to video call a patient who hasn’t paid or booked anything with them. They offer 3 nights in the hospital and 2 nights in a hotel, enough time for me to heal well enough and within reach if something were to happen. Other companies discharge you almost the second day after the surgery and fly you back home! They genuinely care for their patients and love their work. The cost was good considering the marvellous service and treatment I received. The hospital was very clean, nice and welcome you with warm hands. The hospital team are very quick to respond to my needs and are very gentle and polite, they all have a big smile on their face. The doctor himself was visiting me every day to check on my progress and he has such a lovely personality. The 5-star hotel was very beautiful and elegant and I enjoyed my stay there. Overall the whole team are amazing and I would do it again if I could and definitely recommend Olympia Health Group to everybody.
