One day after setup it stopped working

One day after setup it stopped working. The laser isn’t firing. Support via email so far. Keep in mind if something goes wrong theirs no service repair man coming to your door.

I’m buying my second OMTech laser now

I’m buying my second OMTech laser now. My first machine has been running nonstop, and when the fan started making noise, the support team immediately sent me a replacement completely free of charge. They even included clear instructions on how to install it. The customer service is outstanding. My business is growing, and I’m confident OMTech is the right equipment supplier for me.

Omtech product review and suggestions

The service has been great so far. I have 3 omtech lasers so far. I have an 30w split fiber,55wpolar plus, and an 80w 2028AF. I enjoy working with all of them, however, I do have some recommendations.
I wish the polar plus had a red dot on the laser so you could see the exact location of the laser. Also, I do wish it was more portable, which is what I was looking for.
The 80w laser works great, however it is a little cumbersome to switch over to the rotary attachment, because you can't see the plug that you need to plug into. I just wish it was set up like your polar plus is for rotary work.
One more suggestion. It would be great if you had a 40w IR laser with a conveyor and pass through in your product line.. Please do not take my suggestions as negative comments, it is meant for your information to improve your products.

Quality Lasers

The lasers I purchased from OMTech have worked great! There have been a few minor issues, but I have been able to figure them out quickly. Almost always I have found it is something that I have done wrong.

The only negative feedback I have is the loyalty program. It has said for over a year “Coming soon”. We are by staff they do not know anything about when or what it will be. The descriptions of the loyalty program sound great, but when? Very frustrating

Sales shipping availability needs work

Ran into a couple little issues involved in a crack tube. But the staff an omtech, pulled through nicely after using the machine. It's a very smooth operation.
I'm glad I made the choice. I just wish the problems that arrived weren't there. So far I would recommend

Bought the machine 1 year ago

Bought the machine 1 year ago. Have only been able to use it a very few times. Can NEVER get the focus correct. Gave up and bought 3 new X-Tool lasers instead. They all have auto focus. Now, Omtech comes out with the very same machine as the one I purchased with autofocus. I'm stuck with a dead rock.

This was an important part we needed for a machine. Had we known Omtech used Evri before we placed the order we would never had ordered from you. We're a small business and your truly shocking service and resulted in us having to cancel a number of orders. We had an urgent large order that needs to be dispatched by Friday 13th. Your support team were aware of this and agreed to send a replacement out if my part hadn't arrived by Tuesday 10th. True to their word Tuesday came and they arranged for a new order to be raised. Great we thought they'll send it next day delivery as they know we urgently need the part. Oh no they've dispatched it via Yodel who are worse than Evri who say that delivery normally takes 3-7 days, although there may be occasional delays due to the carrier's high volume of orders.

My question to Omtech is simple, if you value your reputation and value your customers why do you use two of the worse courier services in the UK?

We're planning on buying two new laser machines next month when we move into new premises, Omtech were at the top of our list. Sadly now you not even being considered. If you cut costs on courier services, what else are you cutting costs on. The money you spend on marketing your products has been let down by your delivery.

Amazing customer service

So what made me choose your product is the company i used to work for had a OmTech pro 2440 which was having issues i called describe the problems and i wasn't even the person that purchased the product but tech support went above and beyond to help me having no previous laser experience needless to say i felt overwhelmed but the customer support was amazing so when it was time to purchase a laser i knew which company had won my business and now i can't wait to upgrade and get a bigger format thank you for an amazing product and amazing service

I’m very new to the laser community

I’m very new to the laser community. Honestly had zero idea on how to operate or do anything but within 2 days I was cutting test designs for my new shop. A week later now I feel like a laser operator now. It was super easy to learn. Once you stumble across something you adjust it once and then you got it. I didn’t read the manual. I just watched youtube videos and chatgpt will be your bestfriend getting thru the bumps in the road. Shipping was also amazing. It was very secured. If you dont think the laser will fit in your house, the legs detach making it be able to fit thru anything doorway. High recommend using a furniture dolly to move thru your house! All in all its been a great experience from ordering to shipping to setup to operating.

Total trash Company

Total trash Company. After having the machine for a month it never worked a day. Tech support have no clue about fixing the issue. The machine did not come with any set up instructions or videos (not even on YouTube or their site). I ordered a machine with a powered z axis which it came without and when the laser was turned on it would shut down the machine. I scheduled a zoom meeting to point out the issue and after 10 mins after the meeting was to start is when the tech came on to say we will send you a new machine, to which I declined. After asking for a return I was told it would be picked up on Monday, so I took the day off this is now Thursday. Todays email is saying I need to provide a forklift to get it on the truck.

The support team has definitely gone above and beyond. They resolved a mishap that occured quickly and professionally. Not only did they email me but they also had a representative call to help with the situation.
