NIPT blood test
Went in for a NIPT blood test, got told my baby was a very high risk for Down syndrome. After getting an amniocentesis I was told my baby does not and the NIPT test results were wrong. Don’t trust these test, they can cause a lot of unnecessary stress and worry.

The NIPT is quite a specialised test and whilst it is extremely accurate (in the 87% to 99% range), it is not 100% and false positives do happen. We are glad that the laboratory got in touch with you regarding the results, as is standard procedure and we are sorry about the stress this caused.

She was also very polite and calm, which made me feel quite relaxed during the appointment. I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs blood tests.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE — NO CONSENT, NO WARNING, AND EXTREMELY PAINFUL!
I had a terrible experience while having my blood drawn. The staff did not ask for my consent at all. Without warning me or saying anything like, “I’m going to touch your arm” or I’m Going to insert the needle, they suddenly took my blood. It was extremely painful, and I experienced a lot of pain and discomfort.
The whole experience was very rude, disturbing, and frightening. I strongly do not recommend this place. Please be careful and think twice before going there.

We are able to determine that the correct protocol was completed by our Phlebotomist in our clinic when completing the blood draw. In addition to this, we can see that the consent form has been signed by yourself to complete the blood test.

Very efficient and friendly
Very efficient.The results came through one the same day as bloods were taken which was sooner than the advertised time and the nurse taking the blood was very human and approachable.

nice & clean clinic in Victoria. Warm & friendly phlebotomist who was also highly competent and very quick turnaround time for results, less than 24 hours, and very competitive prices , Maybe have a word with IT department about sending results in one email not several. Apart from that small detail, they were perfect. Highly recommended

I was able to book an in-person appointment on the same day and then add an additional test when I arrived. The phlebotomist was kind and efficient.
