Yes I got the money back that was paid as a deposit for photo shoot. I feel embarrassed to say I was pursuaded to pay for the top package for a year. I rang them multiple times, eventuall, they suggested joining other agencies,, more money! So now after hearing nothing for over 7 months, my review is Don't give them any money! It is a big con.The photos are not very good, wrong angles. Natural light, which in outfits they chose made me look pale.
Over £1000 and nothing back!

Reading the 5 star reviews made me realise what a wonderful experience I had missed,thank goodness I read the 1 star reviews and realised what a terrible experience I had missed

I feel the girl above was a lady in 2o23 September was the lady who did a shoot the same day as me amazing .day I was successful until I said I couldn't afford the portfolio then the man said ill have to let you go it was an amazing experience too my surprise the next few days I had an email from george saying they really like my profile and he was going to contact me I missed the call I tried ringing a few times to get hold off him but I never got hold off him maybe I should off tried harder or maybe they were just after a payment I don't no very surreal day.

SCAM! AVOID! SOHO MODELLING PORTFOLIO
and ONLINE MODELS.

This is my honest feed back for soho fashion studio and online models.
Chico one of the first person, who contact.

I completely agree with a written feedback of some members about this Scammers companies - soho studio and online models.

They are using trustful public, particular ladies in their 50s and 60s.

I had experience in September 2023, but contract started in January 2024.

I’ve gave to myself some time to write this review .
In January 2025 - one year since I became “model”.

First Stage: I came to soho fashion studio with a suitcase full of different clothes.

Yes, it is attractive for person, who never had any interaction with fashion business before.

Loud music, photographer, make up person, dresser… Of course its tempting…

All people, who gave them 5star they were amuse by all this circus, like me. Do any of them have a job?

There wasn’t any direction from photographer for poses, most of my poses I created myself. For money
I paid, should be really professional photographer!?

Second Stage: Came back to studio from photoshoot.

So, same trick: small room, great music and on the screen of the computer my photoshoot’s edited photographs.
Of course, you are already imaging yourself a model or actress…

Kane, who interviewed me, insist me to get the modelling package with highest price and gave me lots of promises.

He said, I would return the money in a year on account of I have very good potential etc… and I did spend a substantial amount of money.

In that moment, I trusted him.

- I signed for: High Street Fashion, Commercial Modelling

- TV& Film Extra, Catalogue Modelling.

Third Stage: He directed me to online models.

Fourth Stage: Managers from online models, who were supposed to help me; I had three of them: Gayle, Oliver, Amy.

In the beginning, I spoke a few times with, Oliver, who helped me to write introduction and gave me list of agencies, who work with mature models.
He wasn’t sure which one suited my age better.
I selected 4 agencies myself and I paid money again.
That was a surprise because it wasn’t mentioned on the phone or interview.

Amy, who I spoke with only once, promised to call me back many times, but never called, stopped answering my emails. Looks like they blocked my email.

No respect for Clients. After 6 month I went back to soho studio and ask them a question: Why did I pay such a high price? Of course there wasn’t a clear answer.

They said I needed to contact with online models, they are responsible for my modelling career. As usual communication issue…

In almost 7 month I had one job with skin company, unfortunately I spend more on travelling.

Over 6 month no response from online models.. They lost interest long time ago. Looking for others…

January 2025 end of my contract. WHAT NEXT, FOR WHAT I PAID, I would like to ask Kane and company of liars…

Of course I am very disappointed, distressed and hurt. “Models” like me, mostly women, paying salary to this kind of scammers…

I lost my time and my money…

Reader will say: You sign contract.! Yes, I did! But what about humanity, honesty and trust???

They should have compensation or other alternatives for people like me, if they taking money for nothing.

I’ll tell you, there are many people in the same situation.

I am thinking of taking a legal advice about it…

I've waited a long time before writing this review because I felt it was fair to give online models a chance to help me in my modelling career. I'm a semi-professional distance swimmer and I think I have quite an athletic body for my age and attended one of their Instagram advert photo shoots that they suggested I came in for. Before the shoot took place I spoke to a modelling lady who said to me that there was an 87% chance of getting me regular modelling work and the aim was to get me three to four modeling assignments a month which paid good money. This pitch clearly got me excited & encouraged into the world of potentially lucrative mature modeling. I attended the photo shoot in soho and after the shoot took place was given feedback and was encouraged strongly to take up their modeling package due to my AI rating being 85% (or something to that effect). They said I had very good potential etc and I did spend a considerable some of money hoping that this would kick-start my career.

To date I've now been accepted by all of the agencies they recommended. I'm with now four agencies in London for 3 months (3 recommended by online models) So....3 months into this project and not one single booking from any agency and not a single booking via online models. I've tried to contact them by phone and by email and I get zero response by phone & no one picks up the phone to talk to me. I feel incredibly frustrated, very disappointed and just feel like I've be let down massively and have spent a lot of money on what essentially has been a glorified photo shoot!

This is my honest feedback.

So I like online models to counter-claim this experience and I'd like them to explain to me why after nearly 3 months I've had zero work and zero proper interaction with my model manager. My understanding was a contractual obligation to have a model manager for 12 months to help me find work which they said they would do. I e had zero interaction with my model manager apart from 1 phone call despite emails and promises of phone calls and no shows. Yes the model manager got me started with these agencies and profile etc but no bookings from her or anything of any merit. Just a lot of expense, a lot of time wasted and a lot of non refundable platform fees and no work to date 😟.

I would be wary of this company. I think it's good fun to go for the photo shoot but if you are successful you will be given to opportunity to work with them for a considerable sum of money. I think you need to consider your alternatives there are other companies such as Ugly etc that do this portfolio for a significantly less outlay and would charge significantly less if you're accepted and taken on after a test shoot / interview.

I even sent a long email to their CEO and I've sent two emails now to the CEO and I've had zero response back from anyone online models just at least acknowledging the email which I think is highly unprofessional.

I had a wonderful experience on the shoot organised by Online Models. It was all extremely streamlined and everyone at the studios made me feel super relaxed. Thank you!

Overall lovely experience for the test shoot.

My experience with Online Models started with my very first conversation with them which was very informative, helpful and friendly. I was given all relevant information about the company, their goals and what I would expect from them if I agreed to join, and as someone with absolutely no experience of the modelling world, this was invaluable to me for making the decision to join. I had every confidence that what they say, is what they will do, and it's proved to be the case.

Friendly and supportive environment. Felt at ease and enjoyed my experience. They gave me a little space to store my things and change my clothes. Felt secure and not violated. Staff helpful in choosing the most suitable clothes.

It's a very long time since since I last attended a photographic shoot but from the moment I arrived I was made to feel comfortable. I was greeted warmly and my outfits were selected promptly. The hair and make up artist applied her magic before the photographers set to work and I was delighted with the photos they took. All in all I had a wonderful day and when I left the studios I was buzzing. Thank you all for your warm welcome and your professionalism.

An amazing day with Online Models supporting me throughout. The day was a breeze, the photos were fabulous. I would highly recommend.

I like to say that the staff who are the make-up lady, the hairdresser and the dress lady and the photographer were very professional. They make me feel very comfortable.

I’m with Lyn Bennett and JJ here - totally conned and paid £1600. Wasn’t happy on the day with any of it. Firstly, had no record of my appointment but squeezed me in (obviously). Photographer disinterested and uncommunicative despite it being my first time. Make up girl had no talent - also made me look like a drag queen with false eyelashes, the lot! Also told this is what agencies want. Mixed up my clothes into combos that were totally wrong and looked ridiculous.

Had to leave quickly for transport but was hassled into the contract without having the chance to look at it properly, despite asking for more time.

I was shocked when I saw how bad the photos were - fat drag queen springs to mind! But again was told this is what agencies want?!

Same communication issues as everyone else so now going down legal track.

The five star reviews are clearly mostly fake, or the authors haven’t yet realised that they’ve been conned.

Avoid this lot of scammers and find a reputable studio.

From entering the building at Soho Fashion Studios my day started amazingly.
The music in the background made me feel relaxed & excited at the same time.
I was shown into a comfortable office to go through the contract and finer details of the shoot.
Offered water or a hot drink.
The receptionist, hair & makeup artist & photographer were all great at their jobs.
I was given clear concise information as to how my shoot would go.
They selected (4) outfits along with shoes & other accessories.
I was taken outdoors twice in different outfits which I loved.
It really felt like I was on location.
Soho is a hive of activity & provided some excellent visual props.
There was refreshments on hand in the studio & the atmosphere was chilled.
Everything ran seamlessly and took approximately 4-5hrs however, the time flew by much sooner than I would have liked.
It was truly a wonderful experience. I thank Online Models for giving me this great opportunity.
The portfolio that was created produced some really lovely photos.
Who knows where these could take me in the future...
I am looking forward to working with Online Models & I know that they have what it takes to make this experience both rewarding & beneficial.

A heartfelt thank you to Online Models for investing their time in me. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish. This has been a confidence booster! An unforgettable experience. On arrival at the studios, I was greeted by the professional and friendly team that made me feel so comfortable. The makeup artist and hairstylist were amazing, changing my look to suit each outfit (4 in total). I did take a selection of outfits, four of which were chosen for me to wear at my photo shoot. The photographer was amazing, gave me direction and ideas on how to pose. I was a little camera shy at first but that soon disappeared. Photos were taken in the studio as well as outside. The day went so quickly and it was filled by lots of laughter and fun! I didn’t want to leave! Seeing the photos and finding out the next steps was very informative and exciting. This can open up so many exciting opportunities? I highly recommend Online Models. Thank you once again for this super fabulous experience and exciting opportunity to work with you.

Had a good experience with Online models.Communication was good to set up photo shoot & as promised the £50 I paid upfront to secure the shoot was refunded once I turned up at the studio. Shoot experience was great!
