I've had an amazing experience with Online Therapy UK. After years of failed attempts at finding a suitable in-person therapist, I decided to try online sessions and this service was a great option as I was on a tighter budget. I was matched with Adam and he gave me fantastic support and helped me elaborate things in a simple and efficient manner. There's been a couple of hiccups with the admin part of it, but nothing that would prevent me from using Online Therapy UK again if needed in the future.

My experience has been extremely swift with online therapy. Thomas has been excellent at liaising between the practitioners and myself as well as matching me with the appropriate practitioners. Always very responsive and supportive which has made my experience so smooth and rewarding. I was matched with Ashley who has made a huge impact on supporting me during my sessions. Ashley was easy to speak to and did an incredible job at challenging my thoughts.

As a student looking for an online placement I was so glad I found OTUK. Octavia and Thomas were always supportive and responsive with any queries or issues I had, and the monthly check-ins were also reassuring. I very quickly took on new clients and hit that all-important 100 hours of clinical work! I was also impressed with how straightforward all the admin processes were - not the case in every placement, in my experience! Now I am qualified and am proud to say that I am an associate practitioner with OTUK. This is a wonderful company to be a part of.

I would highly recommend Online Therapy UK to anyone seeking therapy. I have been with Online Therapy UK for over a year as a therapist, and feel really supported. What I like most is that OTUK work flexibly with clients, as its sometimes not always possible for clients to attend weekly, and there is no pressure put on clients or myself in this regard. Secondly, I like how the therapists with OTUK are advanced in their education and thus provide high quality therapy. As a result, the drop-in practitioner sessions have also been invaluable for continued learning.

Really fantastic service. I feel that my life, my thinking and my outlook has really changed with help from Ashley. She challenged me with questions I was scared to answer - and made me really open up and think. I never thought I’d make any progress. And I will definitely use the service again in the future. I have recommended to everyone I know!

I'm just coming to the end of my placement and it's been a very positive experience. Octavia is always supportive and the check-ins have been really helpful. Thomas is also super friendly and responsive to any queries. I would definitely recommend the service to any trainee counsellor looking for a supportive and warm training environment, with enough processes and policies to keep you and your clients safe, but not overwhelmed!

I've had two different student therapists with Online Therapy. They've both been great and actually life-changing. I highly recommend their service. Even the administrator is so lovely.

I started placement as a Trainee Counselling Psychologist with Online Therapy UK in January 2024. I have felt nothing but supported throughout my entire time with this placement. Furthermore, I love that they offer open-ended and low-cost sessions to clients, making therapy accessible to everyone. I have had a positive experience with this placement and would highly recommend it to other trainees.

This was my second time seeking therapy sessions with Online Therapy UK.

Sarah was fantastic! In all my years of therapy and counselling, I have never felt so listened to, I could see it in her eyes that she was listening to really understand me, not just to respond with generic words like “mmm, how does that make you feel”.

I feel like Sarah was very dedicated to the cause, she helped me dig deep and understand what the underlying emotions were behind every issue I brought to my sessions. She articulated herself very well and in turn helped me to elevate my self awareness.

Sarah is someone I would happily work with in the future and I know she will do incredibly well on her journey.

Overall, my experience with the company has been good - thank you Thomas for being a great point of contact during any issues I had with attending my sessions.

I joined Online Therapy UK as a trainee therapist in December 2023. It has been an invaluable part of my training and I would highly recommend it to other trainees looking for a placement. I like that they offer low cost therapy to make it more accessible to clients, and the number of sessions is open-ended, so clients can have long term therapy if they wish. Octavia facilitates helpful and supportive placement check-ins, and Thomas on the admin side is also first class.

I spent 2 years in placement with Online Therapy UK and had a very positive experience. I felt supported by both admin and the clinical team. Everyone was helpful and communicative. Their procedures are straightforward and well thought through. I was given a broad range of clients well within the remit of a trainee. I cannot fault my experience!

I had a placement with Online Therapy UK for 16 months while training for my counselling diploma. It has been such a great placement. Octavia and Thomas are so supportive, and I have been given plenty of clients at the correct service level for me as a trainee. I had 44 sessions with one client. I am sooo grateful for the experience and sad to be leaving but need to move on. I would highly recommend this agency for trainees looking for an online placement.

An amazing experience that helped me through difficult times. Massive credit to the team and the individual therapist assigned to me. I cant recommend highly enough. Im sad to see the sessions ending but it was time for me to take steps on my own.

Great service, I have been able to have therapy with a Polish speaking therapist. It made it so much easier for me to express my emotions and what I have been going through. I recommend them!

I have been with my therapist for over two years now through onlinetherpy. My girlfriend also used to use the platform for therapy with a therapist. It was really helpful because we were foreigners in a non English speaking country. Prices are more than reasonable and there are plenty of qualified therapists on the platform.

As a Trainee Counselling Psychologist, I been on placement with Online Therapy UK since October 2023. It is a fantastic organisation which promotes low-cost access to therapy. The staff have been so helpful throughout my placement; there is always space to ask questions or get clarification from Octavia and/or Thomas. There are frequent check-in meetings scheduled to allow you to connect with other trainees and staff, which are so valuable. I would highly recommend Online Therapy UK if you are looking for a supportive placement to grow professionally.

I have been in therapy since March 2022 and that says a lot for a person who was never asking for help! Octavia is helpful, thoughtful and a person that I am glad I met. I have given up on therapy because the NHS system sucks and was limiting me to talk to a particular event that has happened but I didn't just want to talk about that because it was retraumatising me and other places I tried was not affordable at all. But Onlinetherapy offers affordable therapy without compromising the quality of the appointment. I cannot recommend them enough!!
