I just bought a triumph Bonneville Newchurch. It was the first time I bought a bike without test riding it. But Ducan explained the process and I received the bike today just as promised. The bike is everything I expected. Once again thanks Ducan until the next time.

Patrick made the entire experience simple and easy while finding a beginner bike for my better half. All questions answered and you can have a genuine conversation with him about this great hobby as if you've known him years - while he fills out the paperwork.

I purchased a 2013 Honda CBR. The price was decent for age/mileage. There were a few MOT advisories but I spoke to Duncan who agreed to fit a front tyre with better tred and sort some small issues for no extra cost. The bike is running very nicley. Delivery driver was Doug. Both Duncan and Doug were friendly and professional.

My experience with On The Wheel has been unacceptable. I placed a deposit on an imported project MT-09 on 15/08/2023 and was promised an estimated completion/ready-to-ride time of two months.

Summary of Issues:

Broken Promises: I was later informed by phone that parts were being ordered and work was starting on the MOT preparation, suggesting the two-month timeline was still viable.

Communication Breakdown & Cancellation: When I chased for an update, I was told my original salesman had left and that my emails were being ignored. A manager eventually responded, unilaterally canceling the sale because their workshop deemed the project "unviable" due to a bent frame and bent forks. This directly contradicted the earlier promise that work was commencing.

Refusal to Provide Proof: I immediately requested proof of this dangerous damage, which was not evident when I viewed the bike. Six days later, I have received no reply and no proof.

Deposit Still Held (Financial Issue): Despite the manager explicitly stating, "I will refund your deposit from the website," six days have passed, and the deposit of £99.00 has not been returned to my account. They have canceled the agreement and are now holding my funds without justification or communication.

On The Wheel has demonstrated severe internal disorganization, a failure to communicate honestly, and a complete lack of professionalism by retaining my money after they chose to terminate the sale. This is a critical failure in customer service and financial handling. I strongly advise against dealing with this company

I visited the bike dealership in Southwick today, and Alex was fantastic! I recently passed my CBT and don’t know much about motorcycles or scooters yet, but Alex took the time to explain everything clearly and patiently. He was also very honest about the pros and cons of different models and brands, which I really appreciated as a beginner. If you’re buying your first 125cc motorcycle or scooter, I highly recommend speaking with Alex — he really knows his stuff!!!

I bought a motorbike very recently from On The Wheel, the team were very efficient and friendly with the initial service and the website was very helpful and provided good information, then I was helped by a very nice lad called Alex Hodgett, he provided me with the best service I could ask for, taking more time out of his day when we encountered difficulties with a third party and was very helpful and polite during the whole course of it 10/10 and would definitely recommend and buy from again

Had great service from Alex in Sales who gave me full details of the bike and it's history and kept me updated whilst the bike was being prepared and serviced prior to collection.

I was amazed on the amout of bikes within the showroom and found that Lenny was more than heplfull. he showed me the bike i was interested in and carefully explained what each action would be necessary regarding the bikes knobs. etc
He also explained the benifits of protective coatings to preserve the exterior of the bike.
A first class service
I ended up buying the bike and feel at ease that the choice I made is the correct one (not sure the wife does though)

Bought an NIU NQI GTS SR bike at a very good price. Lenny Partridge negotiated the process, answered all my questions, give me advice (on request) about helmets and gloves, agreed to fit top box, advised me of extended breakdown cover, arranged (I hope) delivery. Everything in the process so far has been seamless. And assuming the bike turns up, I am a very happy customer.

Lennie Partridge was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when we purchased our bike. This is our first bike and he also advised us about motorbike licence requirements and answered any questions we had. I don't always write reviews on experiences with companies, but the service I received from everyone I had contact with at On The Wheel, was exceptional.

I was contacted by Jordan Richardson, regarding the sale of my bike and from that point onwards it was a very straightforward process, from initial contact to handing over the keys and documents, the funds were in my account within 10 minutes. Highly recommended for a stress free way to either purchase or sell your bike.

Bought a Nui Scooter over the web from On the Wheel. Received a prompt email from Alex Hodgett who then, over the phone guided, us through the whole process. We went to visit On the Wheel to find the scooter was going into the workshop for pre-delivery work earlier than anticipated. Bought some extras for the machine and have been very satisfied with the whole procedure. Everything has been as hoped for with sensible explanations for extras we have asked about. All told a place to buy from and Alex was most helpful.
