History will say this was a great Soundbar.

Sadly the company is no longer trading, but I’d thought I’d say that the Orbit one P70 I purchased many years ago is still going strong. I purchased an LG tv from John Lewis 8 years ago and the salesman said “listen to this” soundbar versus the LG ones.
It was fantastic. The sound is balanced, has depth and clarity and enough base. The build quality is exceptional. After 7 years the LG tv started developing faults (buffering, wifi not working, remote unresponsive) but the Orbitsound has not even blinked. It’s one of those rare things where a company built something designed to last. I recently tried out a Samsung soundbar just on the chance that maybe the technology had moved on and it was time to retire the orbitsound. Nope, there was no comparison. Orbitsound made a heck of a soundbar and should be celebrated. I’ll stick with mine for as long as I can.

Great technical support

Already had a BAR A70, which we were perfectly happy with but after purchasing a new TV, the sound bar wouldn’t work. Spoke to Simon at Orbitsound technical support, who spent 75 minutes on the phone talking me through fixing the problem. Incredibly helpful, very patient and knew the answers to everything.

Customer Service at it's very best.

Customer Service at it's very best.
Patient, knowledgeable and solution-focused, Simon is an expert in his field. Not only did he talk the guys at the retail shop through my issue, he then spent 90, yes 90 minutes on the phone to me at home, so we could find the answer. Problems solved in a totally satisfactory way. Outstanding.

My orbit sound bar has stopped working


My orbit sound bar has stopped working yet the lights are still on.
The Subwoofer is still working but sound muffled!

Shocking customer service. Well, there isn't any. emailed them 10 days ago, no reply. The unit is great when it is working.

Purchased an Orbitsound P70W to replace Bose.

Purchased an Orbitsound P70W soundbar to replace a Bose version that had given up the ghost.
As much as the Bose was a fine product the Orbitsound blows it out of the water, it’s crisp and clear at all volumes whereas the Bose sounded great but was very Bass oriented.
To be fair to the Bose it was circa 10yo so up to date version could be a huge upgrade.

Terrible customer service

Good product but terrible customer service. My remote stopped working after 6 months, they sent out a replacement that was used, scratched, dirty and sticky. They said it’s one that was used in the office. They don’t have any remotes in stock. So if all the people that have a bar if any of the remotes go wrong they can’t replace them as they don’t have any in stock ( or so they say). The MD needs to get a grip on his CS team as they must be loosing the company a lot of sales. I want to send my bar back as if they can’t supply a simple remote control what will happen if the actual bar stops working. My advise buy a speaker from a reputable company as orbitsound really don’t care

Sorry to hear of your issues with your replacement remote. Unfortunately since the outbreak of COVID-19, we've had some severe issues with sourcing new remotes. We are doing everything we can behind the scenes, but unfortunately it's a difficult situation. As for the remote you were sent, we're sorry to hear it arrived in less than satisfatory condition. As explained before it was dispatched, it was sourced from our office as we don't have any stock. The remote we sent, while not new, should have been in good condition, perhaps the sanitisation we carried out on the remote before it was dispatched negatively affected the condition of the remote. Our customer service did everything they could to send you a remote under warranty with the difficult stock situation we find ourselves in. We hope to have the remotes back in stock soon, but we don't currently have any ETA for this. Rest assured though, we care deeply about cuostmer service and we review every piece of feedback we get

If only the quality of Orbitsound service was aligned with the quality of its products, it would be a best in class company. Unfortunately it is not.

My recent experience has been:

- tried to make an online payment for soundbar+subw and It was declined (due to fraud alert)
- made a second re-attempt after spoken with the company customer service (payment successful)
- order was shipped but it never arrived - no proactive communication from the company to myself on my delivery status (sorry but the excuse that the delivery is managed by a delivery service partner is useless - it is your product, it is your interest and responsibility it arrives on time to the customer and it is your responsibility to chase, escalate,stay on top of the delivery partner to make this happen - after several calls to the customer service I haven't received any acceptable update on my order but only excuses)

I ended up applying for a refund and bought the same product (which BTW it is exceptional, honestly) from an other seller website

Hi Tom, thanks for your feedback. I'm sure you understand our need to be careful around fraudulent payments with high value products, which unfortunately has not gone to plan in this case. You should have gotten automated email updates from both our website and our courier on your delivery, but unfortunately it sounds like they have had an issue with the delivery in this case. As much as we'd love to track every order that we send out through every step with the courier, unfortunately time restraints force our hand on this one. This is why we have set up the automated order updates though, so the customer is made aware every step of the way. Courier issues can happen, which is when we're happy to step in and look into it with the courier. We have had a few too many issues with UPS lately, so we have started shipping our orders with Amazon Logistics, who seem to be more reliable. We've also improved our fraud provention processes, so hopefully your issues will not happen again, but hopefully this explanation goes some way to helping you understand the unfortunate catalogue of issues that has lead to your experience. I'm glad that you like our product though, please do let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

Exceptional Quality, Poor Operations and Service

The products OrbitSound produce are exceptional and I cannot fault. My family home has had the older version of the A70 for almost a decade and it works sublimely. We have only had to change the remote.

However, after a recent purchase of the A70 for my partner, the operational handling of the ordering was beyond poor and customer service simply wasn't good enough. I was displeased as the A70 was something we wanted. Instead, I found it on a much more reputable store - John Lewis and the delivery AND price were better.

My recommendation: buy elsewhere instead of directly from Orbitsound. Improvements are defo needed. Not good enough at all.

Orbitsound ONEP20v2

I ordered a Orbitsound ONEP20v2 sound bar late Mon afternoon and surprise surprise it turned up the next day I must say how delighted I am with the sound as I am over 70 and have been struggling with my tv speaker but now every sound is crystal clear and I am no longer asking my wife what did he say.I also am using it to stream music from Deezer great sound really pleased with my purchase.

E30 Dock wifi connection problems.

I recently purchased an E30 Dock. The dock itself is very well made and the sound from it is very good. I already own an A70 Soundbar which is superb, so this came as no surprise. However, the E30 will not work reliably on wifi, using either Spotify Connect or Airplay. My home wifi set up works flawlessly for every other equipment; Heating, Security cameras, computers, iPads, iphones and Amazon Echos in every room. In fact, if I connect an Echo to the Aux input of the E30, I can stream with no problems at all. I contacted customer support who made every possible effort to blame my wifi set up at home. Having tried every suggestion offered by customer support with no success, I was then told "I don't what else to suggest, try a different network"; At no time was it suggested the E30 could be the problem; and at no time was it offered to test the E30 itself. When I dared to suggest the wifi implementation within the E30 was not robust enough, all communication from customer support ceased. This arrogance is very disappointing; as is the fact I will now never buy from Orbitsound again.

UPDATE in response to Orbitsound response: Actually, to put this "into context", I removed the mesh and simply used the standard wifi; same problem exhibited. Also, with a Echo Dot connected to either the standard wifi or the mesh set-up, and fed into the E30 Aux input, I can stream flawlessly for hours. Thus, the £30 Dot does the job that the far more expensive E30 is supposed to do.

I've just read through the customer support thread and can see you've had issues setting up your speaker with your custom mesh WiFi network. I do agree that it would be ideal if our speakers worked with all kinds of WiFi systems, but unfortunately it isn't always possible to make our products work with every possible setup out there. We concentrate on making our products work with 99.5% of setups, but unfortunately sometimes the 0.5% of setups don't quite work the way we'd hope. It's for this reason that we provide a 30 day money back guarantee when you order directly though our website, as no speaker ever works in every conceivable home. With that all said, that's no excuse for any perceived arrogance from our support team, so I'll look into this internally to make sure we're providing the highest standards of customer service. I'm sorry to hear that you wouldn't consider Orbitsound for your next purchase, but hopefully this response has added some context to the issues you've faced :)

Wow!! Blown Away!!


I normally try and buy British when possible, this goes back to when I was a teenager I bought a pair of teak cabinet Leak speakers lovely sound nearly 50 years on and still going strong no issues!, as regards the Orbitsound A70 I have been comparing this and the Sonis Beam, having listened to both in my opinion the A70 just edges it!, I decided to buy direct from Orbitsound and got a fantastic discounted deal, thanks Alex!, as for the review I will conclude with the following, Delivery rapid next day 10/10, Build quality and craftmanship 10/10, Sound quality outstanding 10/10, Customer care start to finish 100% 10/10, this is an excellent company to do business with and I wish them all the best, John Forrester.

Bought an A70 soundbar

Bought an A70 soundbar from them that had been returned with only the exterior packaging slightly damaged for haalf price. The item was just as promised and of excellent quality. Delivery was a few days late but no issue. Great company to deal with.

Outstanding product and outstanding company

Recently bought the A70 sound bar from orbitsound directly and the customer service was amazing and the product is simply outstanding. I paid £250 from the outlet section of their website which was an absolute steal. However i would happily pay the £500 price tag for this device it is that good. Now convinced the rest of the family to by the device as well. Not my first Orbitsound prodcut and wont be my last.

Love it!

I have had my Orbitsound for over 5 years now and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. The small box fits under my TV and is always complemented by friends. To be honest I forget it is there most the time.

I recently go in touch with Orbitsound about an issue I was having with my remote control and they resolved my problem within 2 days I had a new remote to use that was an upgraded version.

Orbit Sound

Purchases the A70 with my Sony TV from John Lewis WGC Feb 2017

Given an in store demo and comparison against Sonus.
Orbit far better and not restricted by directional sound like the Sonus.

Set up easy although slight issue with Pairing the sperate Subwoofer however a call to customer services and there help resolved the problem within minutes.

October 2018

Purchased the Orbitsound One P70 model and again well inpressed by the compact built in subwoofer. Set up simple and this beauty sounds a treat.

I'd recommend Orbit Sound via John Lewis for good quality sound bars at a suitable cost.

Purchased an A60 Soundbar from


Purchased an A60 Soundbar from Orbitsound, great delivery but customer service is terrible. Ordered direct from Orbitsound and delivered next day, brilliant.
When I opened package there was a lead missing, soundbar does not work without this.
I emailed on Saturday and got a reply on Monday asking for proof of purchase? Emailed straight back and on Tuesday had a reply asking for the serial number. Immediately replied with a serial number and received a reply that it would be sent out First Class. Two days later and still no cable.
It will be a week now without being able to use Soundbar, if it does not arrive tomorrow I will pack it up and return. Will buy from a reputable company in future.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, USELESS

However, we were more than happy to send out the cable should the customer require it, but it sounds like our policies have let you down in this case. Orbitsound won't replace a new defective item

I bought a Orbitsound A70 from Amazon UK during Amazon Deal Day - £200 cheaper! When it arrived the subwoofer was completely dead, the indicator light would not illuminate. I called Orbitsound and they asked me to check the fuse which I did. I asked Orbitsound if they would exchange the subwoofer for me, but they said no.
I spoke to Amazon and they asked me to return the item, but would not offer me a replacement at the Amazon Prime Deal Day price - some £200 cheaper than the regular price.
I have been considerably inconvenienced (unpacking, setting up and repacking, taking the A70 to a drop off shop) and await my refund which according to Amazon can take up to 5-7 days. I wanted to buy British.
All in all, a wholly unsatisfactory performance from Amazon and Orbitsound. I will think twice before buying from Amazon again and I am a good customer of theirs, having already made 81 orders so far this year!
