ORRC with Paul Tony and Dennis have been superb throughout the process. We inherited a 100 year old Isfahan silk rug which was very worn and needed a lot of work. Having found ORRC but not knowing much about our options, I spent a long time discussing the rug, its provenance and our options with Paul before committing to full restoration - worth it we feel because it is a lovely rug. I then asked around and was given glowing reviews for ORRC from a number of antique houses - everyone was confident that the quality of the restoration would be museum grade. And ORRC's work has transformed the piece..... I was concerned that it would look too new - but it actually looks just beautiful - still very much an antique rug but with all its colours and wonderful detail now alive - thank you so much ORRC!

We called a bunch of other companies before going with ORRC and we went with them after speaking to one of the family that own the business. We did our homework and vit was clear these guys knew what they were talking about. We never felt pressured, they gave us lots of options and allowed us time to consider what we wanted to do. They didn't take a deposit or anything up front which we thought was great, so the pressure was on them to deliver as they promised.

We had 3 rugs done, 2 cleaned and basic repairs, one extensively restored. Wow, what a job, we were so pleased. They delivered them back to our new address too which was great. The restored rug took a little longer as there was so much work but we expected that.

We would definitely recommend them. We checked out their insurance and their reviews and spoke to them at length beforehand.

Overall a very satisfied customer- we even gave them another rug to do on delivery of the others!!

Had a large 30 plus year old collected, cleaned and an are of excess wear repaired. We’re very pleased with the result and look forward to another 30 years use.

I had 5 rugs in various different conditions, ORRC picked them up and advised that whilst all 5 needed cleaning, only 3 needed repair - they did not try to make artificial work for themselves. Whilst the repairs took slightly longer than originally estimated given supply chain issues etc, all 5 rugs were delivered looking great, clearly a lot of time and effort had gone into the repair as you would expect (one of the rugs had a section almost completely eaten away by moths, repairing that section is impressive). Paul and Tony were very easy to communicate with over text/WhatsApp, the guys picking up and dropping off the rugs were great as well.

I sent a smallish rug to ORRC for cleaning and repair, and the results are astonishing. The colours are so much brighter it almost looks like a different rug, and the repairs are all but invisible (I can only see them on the back because I know where the original wear was). Anyone wanting to have a rug repaired should be aware the emphasis here is on quality of work over speed. There were a few instances of dates for return being pushed back due to issues in the company's computer system, but overall conduct was very professional, and in the end the priority has clearly been on care and quality and genuine appreciation for the original craftsmanship in the rug itself.

During lockdown - This company seriously overvalued two rugs in order to relieve me of £1200 worth of cleaning and fringe repairs. I have since had them valued and they are not worth one tenth of the valuation given. I feel scammed.

Superb services and everyone really helpful and understanding throughout the process. I am delighted with the finish of my rugs and would recommend.

This exceptional company cleaned, repaired and treated a 40year old Chinese rug to the point where it looked perfect in every way. Scot, Paul and Tony went to every length to give complete satisfaction. from collection to returning the carpet they did everything I requested. Exceptional company to deal with Highly recommend

Many thanks to both Scott and Tony for a totally brilliant job done repairing, restoring and cleaning our Turkish Rug. My wife is over the moon with the fabulous finish you have achieved. It’s been worth waiting for and we would certainly recommend you to others. First class service and thank you both once again.

I have 2 beautiful Chinese rugs, one just needed cleaning, the other repairs to the worn fringe.
It took over 5 months to achieve an acceptable result for both (July13th to Dec 23rd). The one to be cleaned had half the length of the fringe cut off in error; this was later completely replaced with a new fringe (they did not charge me for cleaning this rug). The repaired one needed two trips to the company and after the latter I still had to cut the rough edges off the fringe myself. There is still one tassle that is very worn and the fringe is of varying lengths all the way round; this was for a cost of £580 on top of the £200 for cleaning it first as they require this before working on a rug.
I was devastated when the rugs were first returned, each was sent to them twice; the second time with a strong letter.
I would never use the company again nor recommend them to anyone else.
