⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A blessing for someone my age—no surgery needed!

At 80 years old, I was terrified at the thought of having surgery and facing a long, painful rehab. I honestly didn't think I would be able to bounce back from it. Finding Dr. Don Buford at Texas Orthobiologics was an absolute blessing.

From the moment I walked in, Dr. Buford treated me with such patience and respect. He has a wonderful bedside manner and really took the time to listen to my concerns without rushing me. He explained the regenerative options (like stem cells) in plain English so I could actually understand the plan. The procedure was quick, and his staff was just as lovely—kind, attentive, and very professional. Thanks to Dr. Buford, I avoided surgery and am back to my daily walks and enjoying my life pain-free. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants honest answers and compassionate care.

As a 61-year-old who still thinks he’s 30, I recently tore my rotator cuff and feared surgery and a long rehab. I turned to Dr. Don Buford, knowing as a lifelong athlete himself he’d understand my situation and help me find the best way back to an active lifestyle. After reviewing my MRI, answering my questions, and walking me through the pros and cons, he recommended stem cell injection treatment. We completed the quick in-office procedure that same day and in just 4 months I was cleared for full activities (truth be told, I was pretty active by month 3). My range of motion is back to normal, the pain is gone, and I’m deeply grateful for Dr. Buford’s expertise. I highly recommend him to anyone considering regenerative medicine.

Dr Buford and staff are very detailed as well as patient when discussing procedures, outcomes, and expectations. Coming from a person who has serious comorbidities, Dr Buford has experience in treating patients like myself and seemed well versed in rheumatoid and soft tissue diseases.
I have scheduled my first set of stem cell treatment and look forward to being able to dance with my son at his wedding without needing to bow out early or depend on drugs to get through the night.

I’ve been seeing Dr Buford for many years addressing numerous injuries and age related problems regarding knees and shoulders. Dr Buford takes the time to go over all the options and gives you his opinion as to whether it makes sense to move forward.

Doctor Buford was amazing. He took the time to fully explain my options and totally put me at ease.
We landed on stem cell treatments for my knees which works with my busy schedule. I highly recommend him and his office staff is top notch.

Dr. Burford was great at explaining all the possible treatment options for my condition and then helping me decide which one would be best for me. His staff was attentive and kind, and I was able to get the treatment I needed quickly.

Dr. Buford gave me an options for my tenosynovitis treatment and explained each one in details. He suggested what he think is the best option to treat my issue since it’s been over four months I am dealing with.
Now I am waiting to see the results, which might take a few weeks (hopefully less), but I am positive that i will see an improvement soon.

They were able to get me in quickly. They were able to get me in quickly, were both knowledgeable and able to preform PRP at the visit. He took his time explaining my options and coming up with a plan. I am looking forward to seeing how the PRP works.

Got PRO after evaluating all the options-

I had been doing some research into getting a PRP injection. A friend recommended Dr. Buford because he is the best in his field. I am glad she did, he indeed is the best. He explained the preceedure so I could understand it well, and was able to do the procedure that same day. I definitely recommend Dr. Buford. His nurse, and the entire staff were all top notch!

Buford is THE expert for soft tissue PRP.

I had come into the Frisco office for stem cell on my knee. Signed the waiver and Dr. Buford did the injection and all went pretty well. About 80% better. I then came in for my shoulder because the knee went well. I signed what I was told was the same waiver.Next thing I realize my body is being used as a teaching class. Dr Buford had one of his staff do the injection as he advised. I have a very sensitive and challenging body. I believe I should have been asked if I wanted my body to be taught on.I would have said No,,, due to all my issues with my body. I also came in believing I payed top dollar and that was for Dr. Buford to do the injections. It now has been a few weeks ago and I'm still not right. I realized the injections that she did was beyond painful and I almost passed out. Nothing I have read said, that should have happened.This Makes me so sad because I really wanted Dr. Buford in my corner for years to come to help me with my body struggles.

Dr Buford is great at what he does but the pre- procedure directions need to be given much better about what will happen and what to be expected after the procedure. They didn’t tell me I’d need a driver since I couldn’t walk. Not well informed on what activities I could and couldn’t do and what they said was not what was on the release paperwork. No discussion prior as to what drugs or vitamins to stop taking. No one mentioned the narrow draw might make me dizzy and a bit nauseous.

It would be great to know all of these things ahead of time.

Waste of time , very commercial, so upset ,took the appointment with Dr. Buford but I didn’t even see him PA attended. This is really bad
