I wanted to leave this review, as we have just received a fantastic outcome of my friend's migration application.
I have previously shared a very positive review about Osbourne Pinner almost 1 year ago. And, this Friday just passed, we received wonderful news that my friend's immigration application resulted with successful decision.
Very professional & responsive team & company to work with. After contacting Osbourne Pinner Solicitors, we were introduced to Richard Young. Both Richard and Kanchan demonstrated a high level of professionalism throughout the process.
From the first communication through out the whole process, they have been very honest, providing us with full information about what is needed from my friend, how the entire process works, what to expect realistically, how long it may take to get results.
The entire case is thoroughly and carefully handled. We also made feel that they care about you and your case, as a good friend or family would have, which makes huge difference compared to other companies.
They are very knowledgeable and ready to answer if you have any questions with regards to your case. From the Admin team to the senior solicitors everyone was so responsive and helpful.
I highly recommend anyone to contact them, especially if your case is related to family & immigration.

Very disappointed,I contacted Anisa for sponsor license,always trying to call to ask her the things I heard were mandatory she said i didn't need it,guess what the application was refused,I still took the risk of applying for the second time,this time using priority as i had no time again,again it was refused for the same reason the first one was refused, meaning she didn't bother reading to know the reason the first one was refused before applying again,I asked for half my money she refused.they are busy taking up jobs they can't handle,I will not recommend them at all.

I would not recommend Osborne Pinner for family law matters. The solicitor assigned to me, Claire, failed to follow my initial instructions, left me chasing communication, and even communicated positions to the opposing solicitors that I had not authorised (and once I terminated services would not retract them).

When I raised these concerns with the Principal, the matter was handed back to Claire, whose response was defensive rather than constructive. The situation was compounded by billing practices: a draft invoice showed less than £100 due, yet after I terminated services the firm attempted to charge the full retainer. They later reduced the bill to half, which only reinforced my concerns about fairness and ethics, as the work carried out did not justify the amount claimed.

Poor communication, unapproved actions, defensive handling of complaints, and questionable billing left me extremely disheartened. In my view, this firm has a lot to do to improve professionalism and integrity.

Pinky has been fantastic with my spouse visa application. She made herself available to answer my queries and help me prepare documents. It's been such a stressful time and i am grateful for the help received from her and the firm.

Major communication and admin problem
I share others’ opinions that the firm needs major reform to address its ongoing communication issues. From my experience, unless this changes, I would not use them again.
I initially wanted to appoint Anthony Gold, but they were too busy to proceed quickly with my case. Unfortunately, this led to further delays when I went through Osbornes instead. I was later informed that my case had not been submitted to court because I had not paid the court fees — despite never being asked to do so, and despite having a deposit that should have covered it (as stated in their own guidance).
I am still waiting for their complaint procedure, which I requested two weeks ago. The firm needs to understand that delays cost clients time and money, not just the firm itself. Even simple, repeated requests — such as asking for the case number to follow up with the court — have been ignored.
If I do not receive the complaint procedure soon, I will escalate the matter to the Ombudsman. They are not above the law.

We are delighted to share the successful outcome of our company’s services with you. After reaching out to Osbourne Pinner Solicitors, we were highly recommended to work with Solicitor Richard Young. From the outset, Richard impressed us with his professionalism and extensive knowledge of the legal processes involved. He carefully guided us through every step of the matter, ensuring that we felt informed and supported throughout.

I wasn’t happy with the service. I applied for a sponsorship licence with Richard. Their advert stated “no win, half pay back,” but when we signed the contract, it said that if the application was refused after the interview, they would not return any money.

During the interview, all the wrong things came up — including issues with the company structure and the British director’s role. (Also, after our first refusal — which Richard himself said was due to a Home Office mistake — he advised us to reapply, and I made another half payment on top of the first one.)

If you just need someone to submit the application on your behalf without giving advice on company structure or strategy, then they might be fine. However, I don’t think they have the capability to properly handle a sponsorship licence case, as our company structure was incorrect and we didn’t receive any proper guidance or corrections from Richard.

Since our application was refused after the interview, we couldn’t get any money back. Communication was also an issue — you could only reach them by email and had to book calls 1–2 days in advance, which made the whole process slow, even just to submit the application.

Overall, my experience wasn’t good, and I would not recommend their service.
