Worst cgm ever. Inaccurate readings. Mobile app is glitchy and keeps on popping up even if you fix settings. It has become a nuisance as I can't even use my mobile phone properly. And their customer service is no help at all. Just frustrating and waste of money.

Reading not accurate, totally disappointing. My first device was working ok, 2nd device was not accurate, 3rd device was also not accurate. The worst is their APP, and the products purchased from Ottai APP is slow in delivery, worst of all, not accurate. I’ve complained 2 times via the “customer service” which you typically have to wait at least 30 minutes, the answer for inaccurate reading is “It is NORMAL TO BE NOT ACCURATE 🤷‍♀️ for the first 48 HOURS!” I waited 4 days, and it is still not accurate. Totally unprofessional & low quality product by Ottai.

I used the product twice now monitoring for 28 days. The first devise operated well in the first 12 days, then started giving me low readings that I knew were inaccurate because I was feeling fine and did not change much in my diet. The second devise also started well until day 11, again started giving me continuous alerts about low glucose readings. I think the device is only good for about 10 to 12 days and not 14 days. Otherwise, it has been quite good and dependable except after 10 days of use.

Using product for past 5 days. First 24 hours not so good, however I now can highly recommend this product. Type 1 diabetic for over 30 years now and the positive impact this CGM has had on my health is breathtaking. Thank you thank you thank you. Minor concern new order has not arrived as yet and customer service doesn’t seem to respond.

One of the worst products in the market. I doubt the legitimacy of the business itself, given the kind of pricing and the product quality. These guys wont last long in the business, I can tell for sure. The product is a complete crap, it throws random numbers, 5 minutes the readings go up the next 5 minutes they go down and again up. Completely random !!!

Complete bogus product. I used it for 2 days, threw it away. Literally crap and waste of money and time.

placed a new device on my arm and the reading was showing betwen 3.3 and 3.5. I had to consume lots of suger to boost my suger level but it didn't change.
then I went to check with the normal manual device and I found it above 7.5.
when I spoke to Sunny from cutomer support team , he told me that it takes up to 2 days for the device to adjust to the body, which never happened before.

Sunny from custmer support beleive this is very normal and I shouldn't rely on it and keep using the normal device.
when I told him how can I trust it after the 2 days , he didn't responde back to my question.

Good product and software. Easy to use and send everything in the package, including the patch, unlike all of the competitors—that too even half of the cost of other brands. People who complains about the accuracy, comparing it to the blood test, does not understand how CGM works. CGM detect the glucose level after some time not real time. This helped me to get into the rhythm of having good food habits.

Absolutely love this device! I tried almost every CGM product on the market in Malaysia and Ottai is by far the most accurate, reliable, and user-friendly product. I especially like the design of the interface, which surpasses many similar products on the market. You can log activities, ask AI bot questions, share data, and even do a real-time workout analysis. I think they do put in effort in the design of the product. Right now I'm using the device with my mom and we share data with each other on a daily basis to make our data more steady.

I am type 2 and managing it with food control and metformin. I bought Ottai after reading all the positive reviews from all sources in the internet and socmed. Yes, the product and apps are indeed easy to use. The product feels and looks high quality. The app and sensor seems to work seamlessly. Customer service is good and responsive.

My only problem from both sensors I’ve used so far, gave a big deviation of 25% - 30% from finger-prick.

The first one got significant deviation reading after the 3rd day, I reported to the customer service and it was replaced with a new one.

When the second one also gave a bigger deviation ie up to 30% after the second day, I decided not to report and just continue using just for the sake of completing the pattern for spikes.

I am hopeful for my 3rd sensor. I bought 4 sensors during the 12.12 promo and this is my first experience with a CGM device. My advice to new users, need to finger-prick the standard time - before and two hours after eating to compare and confirm accuracy. Need to finger-prick when reading goes too high or too low. Do it already on the first day you apply the sensor.

As mentioned I don’t rely on the accuracy of readings for now. So will continue doing finger-prick. And using the pattern for my food control reference

This is a fabulous product and app.
I've used it for a few months now and it's been fantastic.
Lasts the 15 days.
And in my opinion better than the more expensive cgm s I've used.

Easy to navigate the app for lots of data and get a downloadable review of your last and previous CGM . Very easy to apply and wear small size and low profile with a 15day active period which makes using Ottai CGM very cost effective when compared to others. For type 2 users this is very economical

The app is great, although a bit confusing in places. Ease of application of the monitor is great. The accuracy is terrible. As soon as the initialization period was over, the monitor agreed with my manual monitor exactly. From that point on, it just got worse and worse, at one point the difference between the manual test and the monitor was 47 points (no spikes, no food, no sugar, no insulin, just baseline reading). The app will conduct a test, apparently, when this happens. But to do so, it requires "three sets of readings". This isn't clear at all...three sets of HOW MANY readings? Three sets of 1? of 3? 5? So I did 3 sets of 3, each reading 30 minutes apart, and logged them in the BG file. Then tried to run the test. And got " Sorry, no BG(AI) data has been detected for the requested device. Click the button below to complete three sets of 30-minute intervals". I used YuWell (5th generation) prior to this, had zero problems and it was very accurate. I will go back to YuWell.
[UPDATE: DEC 8, 2025: Toward the end of the first monitor's life, it did improve on accuracy. I applied the second monitor a week ago, and it seems to be holding accuracy within +-5 points of my manual monitor. I have a YuWell as my next monitor, but I will probably try Ottai again when the YuWell expires.]

Easy to use. Lasted the full 14 days without any issues. Great Value as I’m on a fixed income with type2 diabetes.

I absolutely love these, its also records your meals if you put them into the app, that way you get an understanding of how your body reacts to certain foods. Although these say they last for 14hrs they actually have an extra grace period of another 24hrs. They are a fantastic price compared to many of the other GCM monitors within my country. Thank Ottai for your fabulous product been a user for over 6mths now and no more finger pricks and real time glucose levels :) :)

I like the cover with the moulded protection, stopped it from snagging on my clothes. It’s a nice small size.
It sticks on well.
I like the app, very detailed.

I’m beginning to understand which food items spike my glucose readings, which ones slowly release glucose and which ones barely move from my desired readings. With medication I currently take I can also safely eat my favourite foods.

Great reporting. Only down is that I use a Novopen 6 & I can't sync the pen with the app even though it shows as a registered pen.

I was majorly skeptical at first upon purchasing but upon receiving the products I was genuinely impressed by the quality only having worn my first Ottai CGM for 14days I can tell you that you dont know its on you its small comfortable and accurate. I personalised the app to alert me when low and high and the glucose report has helped my specialists monitor me more closley. I will definitely be buying more in the future specially when compared to other expensive brands ive had issues with. Oh and plus I have sensitive skin and dint react at all to the ottai sensor.

Wearing Ottai has given me control of my diabetes and is a game changer for me. I have a better understanding of what food increases my blood sugars and the impact of my medication. I did think ignorance was bliss but realise now ignorance is dangerous. Ottai keeps me engaged in managing my diabetes.
The device is cheaper than others but I find it to be accurate and the app and its features are great.
I would highly recommend it and my sister is now using it.
Would be good if the devices were in Australia so shipping was quicker but five stars from me.
