Really good quality plant well packaged quick delivery would definitely recommend

I ordered some plants. After a couple of weeks I chased them up because I realised they might come when I was on holiday. The response wasn't polished (as another review suggests) but they kindly agreed to hold back the delivery.

When I returned home I found a box with three plants near death, obviously having arrived too early. To my surprise, couple of days later another box turned up with three healthy-looking plants.

I'm impressed they followed up and made sure I got decent plants. It would have been easy to not bother and argue the toss.

I have had a good experience with Otter Farm. Speedy delivery, and also response from Melissa when I had a few queries about my plants on arrival. Would highly recommend - and look out for some good deals when also buying their books. Fantastic little business.

Immensely disappointed with my first experience ordering from Otter Farm. I first contacted them some weeks after my order, to be told that their ‘terms and conditions’ state that orders may take up to 28 days to arrive, but that mine ordinarily ought to have arrived by this point. Despite my simultaneous purchase from another nursery ‘Blackmoor’ having long since arrived, preferring to give human beings the benefit of the doubt, I waited. Over a month passed. Still, I received neither update, nor plants...

At which juncture - beginning to grow apprehensive that something really may not be right with this company - I contacted them again, now expressing my understandable frustration, and explaining that my good-natured patience was beginning to wear thin. They stunningly told me straight off the bat that: they did not ‘like my tone’, that they ‘resented’ my use of language (this despite it being, I felt, rather measured in all); the message too, appeared to imply that I was one of three especially unreasonable people that year, who I can only suppose, also did not particularly savour waiting for months on end, with absolutely no updates on their order. Finally, they concluded this astonishing demonstration of ‘how not to do customer service‘ by informing me that they were off to get some sleep! And that they would check up on my order at some point the next day! At which point, with absolutely no prior consultation with myself, I received an email to tell me that my order had been cancelled and my card refunded.

Sadly, as a quick look at their website might suggest, Otter Farm seems to be a lifestyle business, run for the dreamy lifestyles of the owners and where the customers priorities are an entirely secondary consideration!
