Used them once before which was ok but this time is worse. We have invoices to be paid from the wallet but they are just sat at pending and not paid. A few days processing time is fine but multiple weeks is not. I have emailed many times and left messages on the platform chat bot to no response at all.

FYI for potential customers you don't get the loan directly to your bank, it's in a wallet that they pay invoices you upload to them. There are major restrictions on anything paid as well (eg. companies/time scales/etc). Don't expect to pay employees, hmrc, freelancers etc without extra hidden fees.

The reason it's not a 1 star is that they did give out risky loans and not at the same extreme rates other companies do (it's still expensive but not as expensive as iwoca etc)

We've had a really positive experience with Outfund. While our company traditionally leaned on banks, we were hesitant about exploring alternative funding options up until 2024. We chose Outfund among other providers due to their smooth application process, understanding of our business and customer service. We've already taken 2 loans from them this year and hope to continue working with them in the future.

Great alternative to equity dilution finance. I was quickly able to get funding without sacrificing control which can be difficult when you're a small business looking to grow. All in all, it was a win-win solution that I very much endorse.

They really took the time to understand what I needed and made sure I got exactly that, and their platform isn’t super complex so it made the process a lot more straightforward.

We needed funds to expand our manufacturing capacity, the team delivered. We were quickly approved and each step in the process was tailored to us.

Outfund is excellent and Alejandro is a great professional.

I want to share a bad experience I had with Outfund so others can be aware of potential problems.

Firstly, they don't tell you upfront that taking their funding might put your personal assets at risk (Director's Indemnity), despite clearly stating "No Dilution or Personal Guarantors" on their website. They rush you into accepting funds, saying it's urgent and will expire soon. This urgency doesn't give you enough time to check the contract or get legal advice. It's frustrating to find out later that they didn't mention the personal risk involved.

Secondly, the company lacks transparency. Even on Trustpilot, you can see they've broken Trustpilot's rules. If a company can't be honest on a review site, it makes you wonder if they're trustworthy in other ways.

Lastly, they don't care about your situation, whether it's personal or business-related. They demand the full amount back quickly, no matter what difficulties you're facing. This shows they don't understand or care about their customers' problems.

In short, dealing with Outfund left me very unhappy. I suggest researching other options before getting involved with them.

I am writing this review to express my profound disappointment and frustration with the treatment and service we have received from your company. Our initial approval by Outfund two weeks ago gave us high hopes, but unfortunately, our experience since then has been nothing short of disheartening.

At first, we were informed that our application was rejected on the grounds of not meeting the £10,000 revenue threshold. However, we promptly provided compelling evidence to refute this claim, proving it incorrect. We supplied all the necessary documentation to support our case, anticipating a fair reconsideration of our application.

To our dismay, we found ourselves subjected to a seemingly endless barrage of questions regarding our revenue sources and partnership deals. With utmost transparency, we diligently complied, providing answers to each query and submitting all relevant information requested. We invested significant time and effort into this process, genuinely believing that Outfund would recognize and appreciate our dedication.

After enduring over a week of anxious waiting for a decision, we finally received an email stating that our application had been approved, granting us a generous timeframe of 29 days to proceed. However, our relief was short-lived when, within less than a week, we received another email stating that the offer would expire in just 2 days. This inconsistent communication left us bewildered and deeply frustrated.

Seeking clarity and confirmation, we promptly reached out to your team, only to be told that the original email with the 29-day timeframe was indeed correct, and we should disregard the conflicting message. This lack of internal coordination within your company further eroded our confidence in the service we were receiving.

Throughout the entire process, from the extensive questioning and submission of paperwork to the eventual approval, at no point did Outfund explicitly state that the offer was being withdrawn. We were led to believe that our application had successfully met all requirements, only to be confronted with contradictory messages and wavering commitment.

We highly value organizations that prioritize fairness, inclusivity, and professionalism. Regrettably, the treatment and service we have experienced from Outfund have left us deeply disillusioned. We entered this partnership with the expectation that Outfund would act as a supportive financial partner, understanding the unique challenges faced by businesses. However, our experience has not aligned with this expectation.

We implore you to reevaluate your internal processes and communication protocols, as such lapses can have far-reaching consequences for businesses like ours. The disappointment and frustration we have endured not only impact our perception of Outfund but also cast a shadow of doubt on the credibility and integrity of your services.

Not good anymore at all. A few years ago when Rob was the manager it was all good and frictionless but when he got promoted I started getting a new account manager every 3 months and long reply rates. I now applied for a new loan 5 days ago with not even an e-mail to acknowledge it. I will now go to a competitor and not use outfund ever again.
