As you can see 54% of customers found this company either extremely bad or fairly bad. Yes, 46% gave 5 star, apparently, but I doubt that. So you have roughly a 50/50 chance of getting a good product that works.
Not good odds. We bought a water feature that didn't work. We had zero co-operation from the company infact they were downright rude. We got a refund through our credit card even though outdoorliving threatened to take us to court if we pursued a refund.
Don't know how they are getting away with it.

Ordered garden furniture through BQ that is not as described. The furniture came from outdoor living. Outdoor living use BQ to sell garden furniture by paying a fee to advertise their furniture.

Both BQ and Outdoor living are not regulated or registered with the furniture ombudsman service. After reporting faulty furniture to both firms within 12 months of its purchase. Outdoor living have failed to refund the items that look about 10 years old and are covered in rust and are simply too dangerous to use.

Instead, they want me to pay over a £150 to receive a furniture report on their appalling furniture at my cost.

I would recommend if you want to but garden furniture. Consider buying from a reputable company and is registered with the furniture ombudsman service. Outdoor living have a disgraceful attitude towards customers who demonstrate their products are not as described.

Garden furniture that cost almost £400 through BQ is just too dangerous to use. I will never buy garden furniture again that has any attached name as outdoor living ltd when they fail to acknowledge their furniture is too dangerous to use within a 12 month period.

Don’t worry, I have now reported this incident to several organisations including my bank. I will also be contacting the financial ombudsman service to report this serious incident. Selling poorly made furniture is not acceptable!

Furthermore, the customer service is appalling. They don’t want to engage with the customer. A company who will sell poor quality furniture and take no responsibility for it after payment has been made. As pointed out, this furniture is falling apart within 12 months of buying it. Under y the r consumer credit act 2015, goods must last 12 months. Despite sending photographs of the furniture to the firm they’re not willing to replace the furniture without putting the customer in furniture debt!

Don’t bother when u want to return it it’s your cost and u loose money from the order ten per cent and they try and get out of collecting ..: so basically your stuck with a cheap item
No collection or understanding even though it’s damaged

I ordered and paid £250.00 for a water feature from their stall at the Kent garden show in May. It arrived some weeks later without a pump, not painted as nice as the one on display and off cuts loose inside. I have emailed several times and only got one response wanting a picture of the paint work, nothing since, being ignored so I guess that's it, I've lost £250.00 on a water feature that doesn't work. Please no one make the same mistake and use a reputable company that you know.

Very poor quality water features. Cost £500 yet five years later similar faults developed that were found after the first few weeks. Cracking all over and surface peeling. They don’t want to know! Limited 12 months warranty. If you like chucking away hundreds of pounds every few years then buy from them.

I can’t understand the negative reviews for this Company. It is the first time I have used them and am really pleased with my purchase. I ordered an Aztec mains powered water feature on Saturday and took delivery the following Tuesday. The feature arrived well packed and was easy to set up. Having run the feature now for a couple of hours I am more than pleased with my purchase.

I purchased a Tranquillity water feature from Outdoorlivinguk at the RHS Tatton Park this month. It was delivered a week later by DPD - well packed with all the ordered components. Very happy with the product and excellent service.

Ordered 2 transformers from these people, they arrived broken & were sent back. They rang to confirm they would send replacements - they didn't bother. Still charged for 2 broken transformers - shocking service

I recently ordered a water feature. It arrived a day later than was expected. But this was apparently down to a problem at the couriers end. When we opened it up we found there was a part missing, which rendered it inoperable. I emailed to highlight this and got a reply apologising and saying they'd put it in the post to me. This was on the Monday. By Thursday I was still waiting for it, so I emailed again initially. On the Friday I waited until mid morning but had no response. I rang them to ask where the part was and spoke with Steff, who again apologised. I was told they'd used 2nd class post on the Wednesday, and it should be there soon. I explained that not only had they sent out the original order with something missing, but then thought it was acceptable to send the missing item by 2nd class post instead of next day. I suggested that they might want to offer me a discount for the poor service as a gesture of good will. Steff said she'd have to wait until the following Monday to speak with someone called Tim about it, her boss I'm guessing. Monday has come and gone, but no contact from them.
I always measure a company by how effectively they fulfil their end of the contract and any after sales support. Outdoor Living fall short on both. I wouldn't use them again.

Easy to order online. Paid for next day delivery but this didn’t happen. When spoke on phone immediately dealt with issue. Good overall.

Bought a water feature at RHS Show at Tatton this year. The staff were excellent and service and delivery were quick and efficient within the promised 2 weeks. Defiantly would use again.

Have been trying to place an order with this company without success. Payment only accepts Barclays and even though site says they accept PayPal there is no option to pay by this method. Also won’t accept a current discount code. Have emailed them twice and spent ages on the phone. Beginning to think they are not a good company to deal with and not bothered about getting an order. Think I will go elsewhere. Given a 1 star as no option for zero. If it is this bad to place an order after sales must be diabolical.
How come they have time to respond to Trust Pilot reviews but not to their emails?
