The OUTFITTER HIMALAYA trek company in Nepal organised all our needs, including seamless airport transport, accommodations, lodges, relevant meals, buses/transport/drivers, guides and sherpas on the 5 day trek and Kathmandu, Chitawan National Park visits.

We had an unbelievable and exquisite holiday. The 13 day itinerary was full. Everyday, was different and we we rewarded time and time again by the sheer magnificence and beauty of Nepal and the cultural richness that the local people were so willing to share.

Personally, I was challenged by the steep accents and walked at a much slower pace than the 2 other people on the trek. The steep accents on Day 2 were the most difficult.
Raj (our guide(was able to arrange a pony for each of us for the last few km of day 2 and this was welcome and quite another ‘adventure’
We managed the rest of the days - even though slower than our other 2 travel companions.
Our trusted guide and sherpas were always there to support us and whilst we struggled at times, it was all so worthwhile .

I would highly recommend Outfitter HIMALAYA company to anyone.
They are incredibly well organised, highly professional, and all the staff we met were highly knowledgeable, friendly, easy going and very accommodating.
Nothing was too difficult. All our questions were answered respectfully during our time with our main guide -Raj Thapa.
We formed quick, genuine, trusting relationship and friendship which will be long lasting.
Raj is the most kind, friendly, patient and compassionate person. He is also incredibly experienced, has been in the industry for many years and he has the perfect personality for ensuring his guests feel accepted, relaxed and he was equally very supportive and encouraging every step of the way.
So many great memories !! and lots of laughing 😂..
We felt lucky to have only 2 other travel companions in our group and we travelled at the beginning of the season which added to the quiet and serene nature of the trek.

Our Accommodation included: Hotel Jampa in Kathmandu, Hotel Splendid View in Pokhara and Rhino Land Lodge in Chitawan NP were all extraordinary- Rooms comfortable, clean, tidy and welcome AC.
The staff were without exception, genuinely friendly and they’re fabulous.in-house meals were delicious. Just loved the food everywhere in Nepal. Dal Bhat is a dish made of lentils and rice. The rice is surrounded by the dal/lentils and some other curries, achar's or chutney's. My other staple was yummy Masala tea.
Overall, the lodgings on Trek were fine- basic clean, comfortable and welcoming. Warm, Shower, Food, clean linen in the rooms. Always good company in communal areas and time to share yummy meal and our experiences each day.

My dear friends - Arjun, Raj. Sobita, Laxman and Hari, Dave and all our drivers and hotel staff. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. 🙏 It will never be enough.- even though we travelled for a short time, this trip and the OUTFITTER HIMALAYA trek company has left us with exquisite life long memories ❤️🙏

Arjun, the owner, had his people at the airport, and hotel on time. Everything was explained clearly and there were not any missed connections. Arjun also made himself available on WhatsApp to deal with the unexpected, as my friend was unable to complete the trek and Arjun made arrangements for his transportation and accommodation. The trekking guide was a pleasant and helpful young man. The trek itself was wonderful and filled with tea houses along the trail, amazing views of mountains and forests. I also enjoyed visiting with the Nepali people and foreigners. We stayed in the local villages while trekking, but before and after the trek Arjun put us up in the newest and finest hotel in Kathmandu. As an American I had no complaints or concerns at all about hygiene, sanitation or security. We had breakfast on the 7th floor while enjoying an amazing view from the Barahi Kathmandu hotel where we stayed. Two things that would have made it a bit better: 1) The guide understood English better than basic, but it would have been nice if he had been fluent because I had questions about Nepal that he couldn’t answer, either for lack of understanding, or lack of vocabulary to respond. 2). Having the physical address of the hotel before arriving would have been helpful as I took an earlier flight and arrived sooner than expected, but couldn’t complete the “Visa on Arrival” form. Nonetheless, those things don’t detract from Arjun taking good care of us. He also took us out to dinner that last night so we could debrief him about the trip. The trip was everything I had hoped. Excellent guides and driver, they made our tour a joy. They catered for my partners mobility difficulty so that she was able to experience Nepal.

We (me, husband and 19 year old daughter) did the 10 day Nepal highlights trip, including Ghorepani/Poon Hill trek. We were met at the airport by Bhim and from that point he went out of his way to look after us and make sure everything went smoothly. The trek was definitely the highlight, accommodation basic but comfortable, scenery was spectacular, and our wonderful porters made it easy for us by carrying our gear, always with a smile and a joke and often with Nepali music. Already looking at returning to Nepal and will definitely book through Outfitter Himalaya.

Arjun and our team leader Ramesh did an excellent job in choosing hotel locations and interesting sites. My only advise to travelers is that the road from Katmandu to Pokhara is terrible whilst roadworks continue. The same is true from Pokhara to Chitwan and Chitwan to Katmandu. Suggest air travel which is much more comfortable and time saving. You can also miss the lake crossing and resulting long climb to the Peace Stupa in Pokhara. There is an easier walk from the back.
The Everest Flight is a must. Food is cheap and fantastic. Guides and drivers deserve more praise. Thank you team.

My daughter and I recently did Outfitter Himalaya’s 13 days tour of Nepal and Bhutan.
In Nepal our guide, Suresh, and driver, Laxman, were both top notch with kudos going especially to Laxman for his driving over the atrocious road from Kathmandu to Pokhara. One of the highlights of the trip was the jeep safari in Chitwan with an amazing number of Rhinos seen. Our guide for the city tour of Kathmandu, Sodha, was very sweet and knowledgeable and we really enjoyed everything we saw in there.
For the Bhutanese part of the tour our guide, Sonam, and driver, Chimmi, were also excellent, both very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. The trek to the Takstang Monastery was a definite highlight of the Bhutan tour along with the hot stone bath to ease aching muscles afterwards.
The dinner with Arjun on the final night in Kathmandu was a nice touch. Outfitter Himalaya Holidays is a very professionally run company, easy to deal with and great communicators.

Wow, what an amazing experience! I’ve just completed the EBC Trek Outfitter Himalaya Holidays. I went on the trip solo not knowing what to expect and was met with welcome and expertise from the tour guides, stunning views and some new friends. Outfitter Himalaya Holidays arranged great accommodations and had planned each day well to give us time to adapt the the altitude (we had a 100% success rate where we all made it to Base Camp, which was very exciting). Despite it being a challenging trek, I felt supported by the team the whole time. A big thank you to the tour guides Raj and Donna who were absolute superstars! They were always there to help where possible and answer any questions we had. I would highly recommend Outfitter Himalaya Holidays for your next trip.

The team here is incredible, we had a smooth trip to Everest Base Camp for 12 days and there was no faults I could think of . Raj and Dana was great on tour and so was Arjun helping from behind the desk to cover up for the flight delays due to bad weather . More importantly we had a 100% success rate where all 8 of us made it to Base Camp without any issue . The average age was mid 40s, we had a 64 and a 24 old as well and the porters and guides looked after everyone’s needs . I can recommend them whole heartedly and meet Australian Standards in all aspects .

This was a full experience tour of the culture and countryside of Nepal. We had an excellent guide in Ramesh who is so passionate about his country and culture. He was also totally dedicated to ensuring our trip was fantastic. He even went on a elephant ride with our three teens in Chitwan to ensure they had a great experience. So many highlights but, I think the jungle safari in Chitwan was the biggest highlight especially when a big Rhino walked across the track directly in front of our jeep. You could just about touch it! My wife and girls loved the shopping in Pokhara and Kathmandu, so much so we had to buy another luggage case!

Outfitters Himalaya is an excellent company to deal with. All our original correspondence was answered by Arjun promptly, politely and fully. We chose the Family Trek but Arjun modified it to account for our fitness level.
The tour was very well-designed with a variety of activities and destinations. We had a day tour of Kathmandu, with the charming and knowledgeable Sabita, followed by a night in Pokhara, a beautiful place by a lake with a view of the mountains. This was followed by four days trekking in the mountains, back to Pokhara for R&R, then a two-day visit to Chitwan National Park before returning to Kathmandu. We mustn’t forget to give a shout out to Janardan, our wonderful driver.
Our trek began with a drive over extremely rough road that was mainly stone or rocks. The driver was brilliant but it’s not for the faint-hearted or for anyone with back issues. On the trek itself, our guide, Bhim and porter, Rajash were brilliant, helping and encouraging two very inexperienced, not-quite-fit-enough trekkers and offering wise advice where needed.
The hotel accommodation was very good and the staff professional and friendly. The lodges in the mountains were basic and without warm water but we had been warned of this, and that said, were given a warm welcome, and were always warm and well-fed. The views were stunning.
Outfitters Himalaya is an extremely efficient organisation, but its secret weapon is its staff. This is the first trip in which we haven’t used an Australian travel agent as an intermediary, but I’d say you are quite safe going directly to Outfitters Himalaya. Otherwise, Tripadeal use them, which is how we knew of them in the first place.
Our advice? Do a trek before your too old and if you do, train hard, particularly on steps and rough terrain. Further advice? You would be hard put to find a better company to go with than Outfitters Himalaya.

Had a superb experience, trekking upto the EBC with Outfitter Himalaya Holidays. Arjun, the trek manager, is really good with his network and connections and he will ensure that you are comfortable and all your concerns are addressed. The guide ( Bhim) was very hospitable and supported us a lot during the trek, managing expectations, taking us to best view points, helping us make rational choices, explaining the local culture etc. Porters were also wonderful humans and we all had a good time bonding together. Will definitely work with them again for my future treks in Nepal.

Amazing experience and great value! From the get go, communication was very smooth and efficient. We booked a private jeep from Kathmandu to Chitwan, 3 day tour of Chitwan national park and then jeep to Pokhara with a short stop in Bandipur. It was so worth it! Everyone involved was very kind. We felt very well taken care of. Would highly recommend booking with Outfitter Himalaya!

A wunderfull trip with everything included. City life in Kathmandu with a lovely round trip with a very good guide. 5 days tracking in the buttifull mountains and again with a very good guide Rabindra and carrier Bassandra. in the end 2 days in Chitwan at Rhino land with lots of activities. Cano trip, safari and local dance. We loved it all and especially thanks to Arjun. The mail a week before our trip was nice, that your guides was around us from airport to airport was luxery.

We have just returned to Australia after 10 amazing days in Nepal. from the time we were picked up at the airport until the time we were dropped back, we have had 5 star service from Suraj, Nameesh and Sevetta. Suraj was so hospitable and accomodating, he made the experience 5 star, like being with a brother. our deepest thanks and con for a job well done. Jon & Paul
