Ovation Tax Group charged me $5,000 up front and immediately became unreachable. I called within 3 days of this payment cancelling their services and left multiple messages with no return calls. If you have tax issues, you should run as fast as you can in the other direction. Their goal seems to be just taking more of your money.

We had an extremely negative experience with Ovation Tax Group and strongly urge others to proceed with caution.

We paid this company $9,500 in full on November 15th after being promised they would resolve our business and personal tax issues. From day one, we did everything asked of us—submitting every required document promptly and, in many cases, multiple times. Despite this, we were repeatedly told they “never received” our documents, even though we have clear proof of submission.

Months went by with little to no progress on our case. We had to chase them down for updates, and communication was consistently poor. When we finally demanded answers, we received a call that felt more like gaslighting than customer service—deflecting responsibility instead of addressing the complete lack of results.

This company made big promises upfront, collected a large payment, and failed to deliver on even the most basic expectations. At no point did we see meaningful action taken on our behalf.

We have since hired an attorney to pursue recovery of the $9,500 we paid, and we have also filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Based on our experience, we believe this company operates on misleading claims and lack of follow-through. We would strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice before trusting them with your money or your tax situation.

From the first minute I call and spoke to them they took action, call IRS they got our records took our case signed papers pay the fees and they kept in contact, requested all necessary paperwork and they got to work on our case , attorney Samira Mahzad was in charge and she kept and advised as all the way ,she got the best results we can asked from IRS and she started immediately working on the state issue. Kristine Ciccone work on our case for the state of ca taxes case and she was Apple to reduce our monthly payment by 75% because of our financial situation. I can’t thank them enough for the amount of help my family received from them . For sure is a lot of people in this office I have to thank I spoken to them in the last few months that they took statements and received our records and work on our file. Thank you so much and to anybody thinking of asking help Ovation tax group is a 100% recommend from as . Don’t think just go with them you will not regret it .

I had a very disappointing experience with this tax company. I hired them in 2023 to help me resolve my tax issues and paid a significant amount of money expecting professional guidance and results. Unfortunately, the service I received fell far short of what was promised.

Communication throughout the process was extremely poor. It was difficult to receive updates, calls and emails often went unanswered, and I rarely felt like I knew what was happening with my case.

Despite the amount of money I paid, my tax situation was not resolved or improved in any meaningful way. I expected a company that specializes in tax resolution to provide clear direction, consistent communication, and real progress, but that was not my experience.

Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that others carefully research and consider their options before hiring this company.

Kristine was absolutely amazing! She successfully resolved my situation by working directly with a Revenue Officer at the Franchise Tax Board and securing a very manageable arrangement on my behalf.

Throughout the entire process, she was consistently professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly responsive. She promptly addressed all of my questions and made what was an incredibly stressful situation feel organized, under control and resolved it quickly.

My only regrets is not engaging them sooner. For years we had been working unsuccessfully with the IRS to correct a clerical error that had resulted in the IRS seizing our tax returns for 4 years! Ovation explained given the age of our issue. Ovation explained it would likely take 6 months, it was well worth it, we finally received payment from the IRS and just knowing it’s finally done is such a relief

I spoke with a Warren Diaz and he was the most honest and upfront tax solutions specialist i have spoken with. i have talked to a number of "so called " tax specialist and all they were trying to do is get me to give them money. Not Warren Diaz, especially when it came to my state taxes, he was very upfront about my options. I really appreciate giving me the real deal. Keep up the Great work.

John Monaco at Ovation Tax Group was outstanding. He helped me quickly confirm the exact amount due to the IRS for my 2024 tax year. We even called the IRS together and spoke directly with the agent, who confirmed the tax year and balance.

They insisted that I paid them up front $3,800. I even talked to the owner and he assured me that they would take care of my problem. All I ended up getting was a call from a lawyer who told me not to pay the IRS and in 4 years it would go away. I got involved with these people because I had already been charged from another group that ended up with me in collections and then they dumped me after I had paid them all the money they wanted. Do not trust this group for anything.

I feel compelled to write this review after interacting with different members of the Ovation Tax Group working on my tax issues. I would like to express my appreciation to all member of the group for professional and efficient work on resolving my tax issues. I would like to mention especially Mr. Baker, attorneys, Mr. Jone, tax specialist and Ms. Munoz who served as main interface and made every effort to resolve my tax issues in the shortest possible time while genially striving to make sure the process itself inherently stressful is conducted in a least stressful manner.
