Pack Up + Go レビュー 

I was SO excited for our pack up and go anniversary trip! It was our 10 year wedding anniversary. While the flight and location was absolutely wonderful, the rental car was extremely disappointing as was the activities planned. We were booked a Kia rio (which was TINY) and was suppose to put 2 kayaks on top which was just impossible and no way would even remotely fit inside. We had to upgrade our car to an SUV which cost SO much money. We almost needed to have the suv based on location, going up mountakns etc. Once the kayaks were loaded we then had to find a place to kayak, unload it all, put them in the water and then do it all again to take back and make sure everything was strapped down. It was ALOT of work to do! We were suppose to have a 2 seater kayaks and that was just not going to work for us, we always kayak in our own. A 2 seater kayak is more prone to tip. Thankfully the man working at the shop didn't charge us extra to switch to our own.
All the main roads we took daily were toll roads so we had to pay $15/day for that. Everything kept adding on more and more. And we had to buy insurance on the rental car incase anything happened. There were tons of "hidden fees" for rental. The restaurants were "ok". Nothing that was "omg that was so good". The hiking tour we could not make in time which was a bummer. Now, the hotel. It looked amazing online but when we got there it was kinda in a not so great part of town, homeless people right outside the back of the hotel sitting and wondering around. The bed in the hotel was on the floor so everytime you wanted to go lay down or go to bed you had to step up on a platform and to get down it honestly hurt my knees. The room was also TINY! It made me feel really enclosed and I did not like that at all. Overall the only plus to Colorado Springs was the beautiful scenery. I myself booked us a train ride up to Pikes Peak and a gondola ride up to a mountain, which obviously came out of pocket right then and there but to enjoy our trip I had to find extra stuff to do. Honestly, would not book again, just feel it was a rip off.

LOVE THIS COMPANY!!!My wife booked a 60th Birthday trip for me that we had to postpone due to a blizzard- the staff was so understanding and helpful. We switched it to an anniversary trip this weekend and it was awesome. Great extra activities, perfect B and B and over the top customer service . We will definitely use them again and will recommend to all of our friends !!

Yes, do it! The trip that was planned for my husband and I was perfect in every way. From the location, the hotel, planned activities, dinner reservations, recommended activities to thorough and professional communication at every step. Such a great experience and I can’t wait for the next one!

This was our 2nd trip with Pack Up + Go and we are already planning our 3rd! It allows us to vacation and travel how we want and explore things we may not consider. It's so fun to see what is in store for us and have a great time without the stress of planning.

My experience with Pack Up & Go was top-notch! I was overjoyed with the surprise trip package because they had no idea, but they picked a state that was on my bucket list for years! The bed-and-breakfast option was a perfect fit for me as I simply wanted a brief getaway from all of my daily duties as a mother and director of a local nonprofit. Also, I was extremely grateful for the extended hospitality and booking support services when I unexpectedly missed my flight on the last day. I was able to contact somebody by phone and text and they were quickly able to rebook my flight and gave me an extra night’s stay at the same bed-and-breakfast because I invested in the emergency insurance. For both occasions of rearranging my travel logistics, they kept the same confirmation number as well for my return flight home. Lastly, I would add that the team did an excellent job with being intentional for my curated experience package and itinerary. I did every single thing they recommended excluding one cancellation simply because I needed some time to get it acclimated to the elevation difference. I highly recommend this travel agency for anyone who is easily overwhelmed with Planning, logistics, and everything in between. They literally have everything covered and I can’t wait to book another surprise trip with them!

We loved the fact we didn’t have to think about much. It was a vacation that was actually a vacation. No wondering what we were going to do that day, everything was set up for us, and everything planned was above and beyond what we would have ever thought of!

We wanted a quiet vacation and you delivered. It was very peaceful and the whole area was beautiful. Your suggestions on places to visit were awesome and we were very pleased with the whole trip.

As I drove to the airport to catch my flight to somewhere, I experienced a strong sense of calm. I realized I had put my trust entirely in Pack Up + Go. It was a relief not having the usual pre-vacation stress knowing everything was taken care of for me. All I had to do was show up. I am now hooked on surprise travel and am looking forward to another adventure with you.

Pros: Easiest trip I've ever "planned" for. The company is wonderful at communicating before and during the trip, and were very thoughtful in using our preferences for planning activities. I also appreciated that dinner reservations were made but we were not locked into them, as long as we let the restaurants know in advanced. It was also very thoughtful that we were given our flight location and time a bit earlier than usual, since our "home" airport is 3 hours away, and the flight out was very early in the morning.

Cons: Mostly inconveniences and a couple minor issues of miscommunication, but no major cons. Firstly, our return flight was crazy early (6 AM), due to a misinterpretation of when I wanted to return "home." There was also an instance where we were told the wrong meet-up location for a tour, and we kept playing phone tag with Pack Up and Go and the tour company (but worked it out). Our hotel was lovely--aesthetically pleasing, convenient location, and I appreciated that it wasn't a cookie-cutter design, but for such a long stay, a hot tub or some other amenities would have been nice. We also ended up canceling most of the dinner reservations, either because the menus didn't appeal or because they were not conveniently located to us or to anything else of interest. Very few of them seemed to highlight what the region was known for. Lastly, the location (Portland, Maine) was a lovely surprise, but said location during early May was not really conducive to an 8-day trip. There's not a whole lot to do or see outside of the Old Port and Arts District, especially not before Memorial Day (nor is anything outside those areas easy to get to by foot or reliable public transport, though we did have an Uber credit). People kept mentioning how "walkable" downtown Portland is, but it's actually quite hilly, and many of the roads are uneven and paved with bricks or cobble stones.

I would recommend using this company, and may use it again, myself, but would probably "cheat" and open the envelope a few days early so I could be a bit more prepared.

Fantastic time! It was our second trip. Hotel was great, activities were great food was great. If you haven’t tried this and can be spontaneous, do it now! You won’t regret it!

Fun!! Organized very well! Would do again. Choice of lodging was perfect. Suggested itinerary, things to do and places to eat was very helpful when going somewhere you have never been before.

I have heard about Pack Up and Go a few years ago and have been wanting to try it since! I'm so happy that I did! What a fun experience! They answered all my questions right away whenever I had a question. They booked activities and dinner reservations and really found stuff that we would enjoy and we loved it!

We forgot to mention we're not morning people so having to be on the road by 9 was a stretch. That's on me. We didn't get driving till 10:30 which meant we had to drive directly to our first activity and skip the pit stop suggestion as well as checking into the hotel first. The first activity was an open air train ride to the 25th Annual Maple Sugar festival in Hadley. Sadly this was a 20 minute ride in the woods with minimal views and the festival was a farmers market. There was only 1 table selling syrup and no other mention of maple. Certainly didn't feel like a festival so that was a bit underwhelming. We did have great tacos from a food truck and found some items to bring home. The hotel was great - great service, amazing food and room. I wish we had more artsy activities in the area. Horse racing and the military museum isn't really of interest to us and thats a huge part of this town. We went to both museums anyways but I feel like for the cost of this trip we could have done something more interesting. We did choose to go to the Skidmore Tang Museum which was great. The Spa Park massage was amazing. Overall it was nice to have a short getaway with new experiences, and we made the best of activities that weren't really our thing, but perhaps I wasn't clear enough outlining my interest. This is our 3rd trip with PUG and I assumed our past trips info would be available to the planner to help outline what we do like. Saratoga felt a little lacking for the price tag. If we didn't have a great hotel I think I would have been more disappointed. Also the famous mineral springs are really just historic water fountains in the parks that you might otherwise just walk by. The hotel, food, and massage were the highlights but I feel like those things had little to do with the location. In the future it would be super cool if the customer had the option to send examples of what they're looking for and get some feedback on what sort of price tag to associate with that kind of trip as well as if its doable within dates/travel type. Perhaps if I selected plane travel we may have had a more bougie experience.

We had such a great time! The communication was great. We didn’t have to do any planning whatsoever. It was amazing to just show up to the airport and the uber credit to get to and from our hotel was a detail that was much appreciated. Having a loose itinerary with a few planned things and a big list of recommendations was perfect. I felt like the place that was picked for my friends and I was spot on. We’ll definitely do it again!

My “You Pick Destination” was amazing. Everything planned was fun and fit our preferences. The hotel selection was great as well. customer service and the pre-trip communication kept me at ease.

Besides having a wonderful time in Savannah, Georgia I want to say how impressed we were with your company! You went above and beyond in being available. I like a company that does what they say when they say it!
Savannah is a fun city! All or reservations were in order and your other suggestions as to what to do were top notch!
