Genuinely awful products. For leggings that are over £30, they're no better than Primark leggings, just with a more sustainable supply chain. Both items I purchased were completely see-through and not even remotely wearable in public, and most likely won't survive a single wash. Both pairs also arrived looking worn, and stitching had come away completely on one. Returned both items and am now back on the hunt for organic cotton/natural fibre leggings.

So far customer service have been great however that doesn't negate the poor quality products.

I have several tops from this company and they appear at first to be of fantastic quality. Lovely soft material, great thickness, super fit. However after a few washes at 30° and being air dried, all of the tops now present a ‘bobbly’ effect. Not so bad on the black ones as it’s hard to see the bobbles, but on the green, pink and white ones, it looks terrible.

Let’s start with the positives. The fabric is lovely and I love how thick the vests are. I’d prefer the round next being at the front instead of a v-neck. The leggings also feel wonderful on.
Now the negatives. Unfortunately I found the vests way too short. I am not a tall person and I kept having to pull them down and they didn’t tuck into my jeans, very annoying. Also the stitching came loose in both black and white vests, so the quality wasn’t great in this respect. They are also a very snug fit.

When I put the leggings on the stitching would snap around the waistband, so again, some kind of manufacturing issue here. Great grounds for wonderful basics, but too much wrong with them for me to buy more right now.

Please look at lengths of vests and stitching!

I am still waiting for my refund/refund confirmation and exchange after a while. One of the bodysuits also completely stunk of smoke when it came out of the packet :(

I'm enjoying making the switch to natural fibers.
I have the leggings, which are soft and comfy. And multiple long sleeved tops, that are good for both office, active wear and at home slobs.

Fantastic quality, really can’t find similar on the high street anymore! Love that they’re a small independent business, really fantastic customer care. Won’t get my basics anywhere else now. They fit true to size, and by that I mean that an XS is really an XS (smaller than what you find on the high street nowadays since sizes have been getting bigger and bigger, but more true to the actual size it should be!). They wash beautifully as well, just make sure not to tumble dry given the elastane content. Super comfortable on the skin.

I ordered a range of tops, unfortunately the first delivery they were two small.

The exchanged took rather along time but the new sizes eventually arrived and unfortunately they are still on the snug size.
The sizing isn’t very forgiving at all, I’m a 14 and the XL is still a bit tight.
The quality of the tops is very nice. But definitely size up!

The leggings are so comfortable my daughter loves them for doing Pilates. I have a green wide leg pair and for the first feel special in them

The best quality clothes I own. I will never buy my basics from anywhere else! Please start doing dresses especially maxi dresses!! And more colours! 🩷

I recommend to anyone looking for long lasting, organic cotton clothes that wash really well. Perfect for my capsule wardrobe

I bought two pairs of leggings from Not Basic a while ago. I tried one pair first, they fit perfectly, felt beautifully firm, so I washed both pairs before wearing them. Only afterwards did I realise the second pair was a different style and didn’t suit my body type, or possibly had a small design fault.

Eva was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Even though the company had every right to say there was nothing they could do, she still arranged to send me a new pair. The communication was smooth, kind, and genuinely caring, something you don’t often experience with customer service these days.

I also love that the leggings are made from organic cotton and have that supportive, high‑quality feel that so many other leggings lack. This experience really showed me that I can trust Not Basic with future purchases.

I truly appreciate all the help and the extra effort they put in. Wishing this company all the success, they absolutely deserve it.

I’ve ordered many times from Not Basics and I am really happy to have discovered their brand!

Organic cotton leggings (wrap waistband): 10/10 the best leggings in existence- extremely comfortable, fit great and are surprisingly nice and warm. Also really thick so not see through at all. I can tell the thought and care that went into the design.

Essentia work trousers: an absolute lifesaver for me as I haven’t been able to find a single other pair of work trousers which are majority natural fabric. They are also very comfortable.

Crew neck long sleeve tops: I own about 5 of these and wear them VERY often. I have had an issue with the hem of one of the sleeves after some wear but I think I can fix it relatively easily.

I would say overall all the products I have tried are true to size. I am normally a small but have sized up to medium when I want a looser fit and I am happy.

All the pieces are made with the thick, high quality fabric you would expect from a premium brand.

They also have a friendly, real and honest vibe which I appreciate, makes me feel glad to be supporting them <3

Please keep doing what you’re doing Not Basics and anyone who is thinking about ordering from them, go for it!

I loved everything that i’ve bought so far, very good quality and comfortable garments. I plan to buy more different pieces; it would be interesting to see more colours and different tops!!

So glad I came across this company! My skin had become sensitive to materials so I knew that I needed some organic cotton. Quality great quality which met my expectations. Fit was amazing hence why I have repurchased, best leggings very flattering. After purchasing black leggings they were so good I recently bought a brown top and leggings and honestly feel so comfortable in them, game changer. I literally live in these clothes. I received a black pair of Leggings and there was a lose thread, I raised this to their attention and they replaced straight away, great customer service. I also love that they are sisters and their back story which meant I am sold into the brand. I will be purchasing more clothes in the future and am so glad I found this brand.

Great quality, lovely fabric, really comfortable. Not cheap but very good.
Great customer service, speedy delivery and simple returns.
Not clear how to access loyalty points but that's a minor.
Would love mix and match discounts and more vest shapes.

Quality and fit is very good, especially compared to other brands in a much higher price range. They could do a range for taller women, as the flared leggings are a bit short in length. Delivery time is also reasonable.

Order has still not arrived

The quality of the products are top notch! The care and detail in ensuring they use sustainable materials is what drew me to purchasing notbasic products. I’ve been building a capsule wardrobe with staple pieces and notbasic delivers on that. What I also appreciate is that they don’t over produce. This is something I value as a customer and I wish more brands did this! As a result, products go out of stock quickly but it just shows how much customers are loving this brand! They are on point in communicating when items will be back in stock and as a previous customer I appreciate having the opportunity to pre order products. I have purchased the leggings in multiple colours.. I initially ordered one and had to order more because I loved the way it fit on my body!! Not to mention it fits so comfortably and the material feels breathable. It doesn’t feel tight or suffocating, with plenty of room to move. Items are true to size and it’s helpful to see the scale of fit for each product as per customer feedback so you can purchase with peace of mind. It is also clear on the website how to get in touch with customer service. Loving notbasic and hope you all do too!

Great quality leggings - thick cotton, not see through and feel durable. I bought a size S (I was a size 10 pre pregnancy) in the wrap leggings postpartum and they are my go to favourite item. The wrap style acts as a nice bit of support round the waist! I equally love the original waistband leggings (which I think I bought in a M and also they fit great) but I am finding myself gravitating towards the wrap ones just because my tummy needs a bit more support at the moment! I’ve bought them in 3 colours plus another pair for my mum to try! Super comfy for every day activities. Customer service has been great as I got a really quick reply on instagram when I asked about the restock! Please don’t stop making these 😊

Love the ethos of Not Basics. Everything went smoothly from ordering to delivery. The long sleeved T's and T Shirts are just as described. The quality is great not transparent like most women's t shirts. Will definitely look at more items, leggings are next on my list.
