I bought 3 long sleeved T-shirts size medium and have to say I absolutely love them, so much that I immediately bought another! The quality is excellent, they are soft, warm and comfortable and look great and considering the quality they are excellent value for money. The fit is quite snug but perfect for me as I am short waisted and my pet peeve is T shirts so long in the body they bunch up under trousers! These hit just below hip level but are easily tucked in and I haven’t found a problem with them riding up. Customer service is very efficient - I did have a problem with one T-shirt that was old stock and slightly smaller size but it was quickly resolved and replaced. Love the colours, particularly the electric moss which is a stunning shade of green. More colours please - would love a rich teal blue or a dusky pink. Would definitely recommend and will be back for more, maybe leggings next time.

Well priced and beautiful quality items. The leggings in particular are lovely. I thought they may not fit very well because of the high cotton content but they fit very well and are so comfortable.

I’ve shopped with Not Basics a couple of times now and can safely say I love their products. I tried one of their long sleeve tops and loved it so much I went back and bought 3 more. The quality is excellent; the double fabric is soft and comfy and the fit is supportive and flattering without being restrictive. I’m a size 12-14 on top and bought size L which is super comfy even on a fuller bust. The customer service is also great, orders delivered quickly and in lovely packaging.

I bought 5 bodysuits and I can say that the quality is excellent. It is super soft with the skin, it feels like it is cotton, it is breathable, they are comfortable, beautiful and exactly the same colour as on the website. It arrived quickly and very good customer service. Respond quickly.

All good so far. Clothes are nice quality. Looking forward to them doing a few new styles to add to the ones I’ve already purchased and to re-stocking long sleeve round neck white tops as these seem to sell out wherever you go.

The softest, cosiest tracksuit, I couldn't be more comfortable than when I wear it. It somehow manages to feel lightweight and still feel so warm and cosy. The quality feels excellent and I love that the labels are made from the same soft cotton so they're not scratchy like other labels that I usually have to cut out.

I’ll always support slow fashion brands and what they stand for as long as this is how the brand will always operate (looking at you tala) I don’t mind long delivery times and pre orders for this reason as made to order is always better for the environment. The quality of the tops are some of the best I’ve ever tried. Very thick durable cotton. I’ll be back for more. Unfortunately the leggings were not a good fit. As someone short it’s really hard to find really good quality petite leggings and unfortunately these leggings were too baggy and long. however, I ordered the flares and kept them as they were a great fit on the tummy and full leg - slightly long but not so bad with platform shoes on. I’m 5’3 btw. The leggings feel like really good quality and they aren’t see through, I just hope the inside leg doesn’t rip easily . Seamless leggings would also be a better option to have.

Gorgeous materials, so soft and kind to the skin. I wear my organic cotton leggings for work every day - they are breathable, stretchy, and so so comfortable. I bought a pair of organic cotton sweats for my boyfriend, and he has been living in them! Can't recommend this brand enough

I find the softness of the material so comfortable I am 5ft 9 and a size 14 I bought the XL for my long body probably should be a L but didn’t want it tight or to cut in my arm pits so went up a size! Love the colours I have bought and would recommend the material is great and washes really well!

Very impressed with this company! I love the ethos of the brand, especially the awareness of sensory issues around clothing. I bought a navy v neck bodysuit, despite knowing full well that I haven't been able to wear bodysuits since the '90s because my torso is too long and they're too uncomfortable... As soon as I tried it on, I went back and purchased another one, in green with long sleeves. They are INCREDIBLE! Beautiful fit, the v is perfectly placed and they are extremely comfortable. I've worn them several times already. They're fairly easy to fasten too, which is a design accomplishment in itself. I'm thrilled to be back in bodysuits and I'm really looking forward to trying more items from Not Basics. I'd like to try some flared leggings next. If you're on the fence, I'd urge you to give them a try. Value for money, considering the quality and workmanship, is very good too.

My go to basics! The tops and bodysuits are super comfortable and the form fit makes them very flattering. Love the cotton fabric and double layered design - exactly what I've been looking for as I find most generic clothing fabrics like polyester very irritating on my sensitive skin.

I am normally a size S for tops but I would recommend sizing up with NotBasics. With the fabric being 100% cotton, I did find that it shrunk a bit in the wash (cold wash, no dryer).

I've not had any issues with my orders to date so haven't needed to contact customer service. That said, my returns experience has been seamless and I was easily able to exchange one of my purchases for a different size!

I absolutely love Not Basics and have been slowly replacing my entire wardrobe with clothes from them. Their shipping is SO fast which makes it easy as well! The products wash nicely and don't pill or bauble. The double lining is so comfortable and means that I don't need a bra. The t-shirt fit is true to size and lightly compressive so it looks clean and easy to wear for work or lounging. And the customer service is responsive.

The quality of these products is fantastic - really love the different styles and colours, and the fabric and cuts are great. After buying my first few I went back for more and got some for my mum too! I'm pregnant, and find the body suits perfect of fitting over my bump so that my tops aren't always riding up. I'm usually an XS when I'm not pregnant, and went for medium - I do feel like the sizing is on the smaller side. Only reason I haven't gone with 5 stars is that my first order was quite delayed because some of the items I ordered were on pre-order and that wasn't clear to me when I purchased them. However, I reached out to customer service and they were super helpful with updates on this.

I have been searching for quality basics for literally years and then by chance found this website. As soon as I realised they understood that if you’re going to wear a tight white tshirt it needed to be double thickness so as not to be see through, I knew it was going to be perfect for me. Keep adding to the colour palette and don’t compromise on quality and I will remain a customer for life!

The quality of the everyday leggings is much better than I expected... when I saw the ad I thought it was too good to be true....I'm always looking for natural cotton fabrics as I have very sensitive skin and these ARE very comfy but don't go baggy like most leggings. Also I'm a 10 trousers so size S fits me well and feels well fitting rather than loose. I can wear them all day and they don't ride down or lose their elasticity. Never had such a comfy breathable pair of leggings. Can't wear my gym leggings all day but these I can . Had a few issues with returns but Customer service was immediate and efficient so I felt looked after. Will definitely buy more as I see the the Outer Space ones are back in stock! Thanks Not Basics

I love my items from Not Basics. The bodysuits are so comfortable to wear, the fit and fabric are lovely. They work well as base layers or as an outfit in their own right. The sweetheart neckline bodysuit is my absolute favourite. I recently had a query about my order and it was dealt with promptly and with total patience and good humour, so the customer service is good too.

So far I've ordered three pairs of leggings and two tops.

What is great:
+ fit. I was very concerned about the fit of leggings especially, but they fit me perfectly.

+ materials. Great quality. Also, I ordered a light creme top as I loved the colour, but usually with colours like this I can only wear them underneath a jumper, because the sweat stains are super visible. Not with these tops! They are so nice and breathable, there are no issues.

What does not work:
- the fabrics aren't very durable. After two washes my black leggings are see through so I can no longer wear them outside, unless with a long jumper. Pity, because they still fit great and look nice.

Update: after I posted my review, my leggings split at the seams and I got in touch with NB support. Eva has been incredibly kind and helpful, offering a replacement after I sent photos showing the issue.

I will definitely be purchasing more items as my tshirts are still in good condition so I am hoping the leggings were an exception, and more importantly, I have 1000% confidence that if something goes wrong, Not Basics will make it right! Thank you Rva and everyone at Not Basics.
