Thought things were great until I needed my camera to be repaired, they accepted the repair, took it in months ago. I've had no communication and they've ignored all of my communication to them. No camera for me I guess 🫠

I purchased a camera from Papershoot Camera and additional lenses in December 2022. A little after the year mark, the camera started not to work. I emailed Papershoot Camera a few times for troubleshooting but received no response. I finally requested a refund, which was way after the time policy for returns, but I got their attention. Once I could finally connect with someone, I took a video of my camera per their request for them to respond with, "We've noticed that the camera board is experiencing issues. After a thorough review, we regret to inform you that a replacement cannot be sent as it is beyond the warranty period. However, as a gesture of goodwill, we would like to offer you a discount on your upcoming purchase." I was baffled by that response, so they wanted me to buy another poorly built camera and potentially have to buy another one in another year. The discount was very minor on top of that. Today, I emailed asking to take the product back and properly recycle it. They were not cheap, so I was very disappointed. I would highly recommend not purchasing their product.

The product itself is fine I guess but what has driven me absolutely insane is that they send you 13 emails a day (this is not an exaggeration) if you forget to checkout. I know you can unsubscribe but the fact this company is so aggressive in its sales strategy is lame.

The camera itself works fine and is much like the video reviews. It's an 18mp camera and the filters are okay, they upsell you a lot. I'm happy with my camera don't get me wrong but the fact they've managed to fill my inbox with 38 emails in 7 days is ridiculous.

This company’s 7 day return policy is pretty messed up. I received my camera and accessories, which cost over $300 after all was said and done. I tried to set it up and even when trying multiple types of fully charged aaa rechargeable nimh batteries, the camera was trash and couldn’t do more than blink. I didn’t even want a new camera at that point. I just wanted to be rid of this awful purchase. When I tried to return, it said the window had already closed. I’d JUST received the camera with enough time to get multiple types of batteries sent to me. I wouldn’t have known the camera was garbage before the batteries arrived… so because over seven days has passed (even though it has only been SIX business days) I’m unable to return my unused and unworking camera and accessories. I really do think this company is going out of its way to try to scam people. They’re not letting unsatisfied customers return their products, and I think if they really stood behind their cameras, they would let customers return the product if they decide it’s not worth the money. Please don’t spend your money here. Get literally any other camera and I promise you will be way happier.

After seeing their cameras on a YouTube video I visited the website, but at the checkout, I noticed that the price bumped up from around €150 to more than €200, apparently, the taxes were not included, too bad here in Italy you should show the full price, taxes included, you can't add it after, also, if the price shown doesn't include taxes and is not explicitly written, by law, this implies that it's the final price the customer will pay. Besides that, they decided to add taxes to the shipping, which specifically says "Tax included"!! And with all those extra costs I can buy a second-hand DSLR or Mirrorless camera... a real camera! Which is ridiculous!
I tried to contact customer service via the chat on their website but no one ever answered after a week...
And if that wasn't enough, even if I opted out to receive promotional e-mails, they already sent me three!

Happy with the camera!
The parcel came properly protected (I bought the boundle, which came with an additional box), and the items were okay, with no damage).
I didn't need customer service, as the camera works perfectly. I just needed to add batteries.
The camera itself is good, lightweight and easy to use, and the quality of the picturs is not bad, but it needs a bit of editing afterwards (I do it with my iPhone on the normal Photos app, ust to balance the brightness and colour), and then they turn out great.
Bear in mind that without editing, the pictures can look dark and ugly, but the quality is good enough to support editing.
I would say the price is too high for the quality of the pictures, but I like the magic of coming home and seeing the pictures after a long day.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A SCAM. LOST MONEY AND TIME. I bought two of these and had them shipped to Europe where I live. The shipping was free on the company behalf yet I had to pay for the custom. Fine, I should have expected it even thou I had no idea it would be that much (70€ for a really small package, the total of the expanded went from more or less 200 to 300€). HOWEVER, the items arrived damaged, which was a huge problem for me since I had planned to gift both cameras. I reached customer service that told me the only way they could help me was by sending both camera back (which takes a couple of months) and then I would be refunded. MIND YOU, THESE PEOPLE PACKED TWO VERY FRAGILE ITEMS IN A PAPER THIN PLASTIC BAG, SENT THEM ACROSS THE WORLD AND WANT YOU TO PAY FOR A SECOND CUSTUM FEE AND SHIPPING. I told them it would roughly cost me half of the total price I already payed. It would be a total expense of 400€ of which I would have less then an half reimbursed. Received no answer back. Absolute scam
