I can’t fault the collection or delivery, they were spot on with UPS.

However, 7 days after booking & 6 days after delivery they have taken an additional £3.95 from my account without any authorisation. A invoice was sent by email which cannot be opened & I had to contact customer services to find out what the charge was.

This mystery charge was for a “residential delivery charge”. Basically I was charged for collection and delivery to residential properties, however the delivery address was a business address.

I did dispute this with Parcel Compare as I was not informed of any residential collection/delivery charges at any point during my parcel booking transaction.

Their own website states “Please note that the residential delivery charge is applied during the booking process once you have selected the collection and delivery address.” So I had booked, entered both collection & delivery address and at no point was my booking updated to include this charge. Had it been updated I’d have used Parcel Force directly at the post office as this would have been cheaper!

Customer service was having none of it and do not take accountability for misleading customers and they are also storing credit card details without consent for these spurious charges.

You also cannot close your account on the website - this has to be done via customer services who inform you that they have raised a ticket & will get back to you.

I’d suggest closing your accounts as they are storing information without consent & this is a huge data breach risk!

Biggest thieves on the internet I booked a parcel through these guys paid £25 for the delivery service within the weight and dimensions it was delivered with no issues.
3 weeks later these thieves help themselves without my permission and steal another £85 from my bank account without my knowledge or consent once challenged they said there was a surcharge which was a blatant lie. Avoid at all costs

Paid extra for next day 10 am delivery, and 3 days later it still hasn't arrived, after checking the actual parcel force website the same service would have been £10 less. Check the company website first

Asked for compensation, said they do not guarantee next day delivery!! Why the hell did I pay extra for it then!

Package didn't actually arrive, they sent it back to me. Apparently it was 'refused' (EVRI stated), however my sister was on holiday for the week so it was impossible.

Parcel compare took EVRI's account on 'good faith', without even asking for any proof. After the fifth email complaining and asking for 'proof', they have finally asked EVRI if they can provide proof!.

Total scam parcel force used for standard service £37.50 all correct and delivered...3 days later a charge of 83.45 taken without my permission supposedly demanded by parcel force for excess charge on my parcel ...After speaking to parcel force no such charge had been applied ,and that was not the way they retrieve excess payments ,they would have not delivered it and I would have had to have gone to the depot to pay any excess and collect .... PARCELCOMPARE again taking money under false pretences credit card company on it now, to try to get my money back ..NO NOT USE

Sent a rug by UPS via Parcelcompare website. Rug in a polytube and dimensions and weight specified by manufacturer. UPS confirmed delivery with my given weight on the notice. Received an email from Parcelcompare advising of intent to debit my account as parcel had been audited and was either overweight or oversized. I replied with proof of delivery and weight, demanded to see their evidence and defied them to take money from my account without my consent.

Needless to say, this £30 parcel was now surcharged by another £73. 75 which they took from my account. Reported to bank and requested a charge back and had to request a replacement debit card for fear they may do it again given others feedback and experiences with them.

AVOID, TOTALLY CRIMINAL OPERATION.

REPORT TO TRADING STANDARDS, THEY NEED TO KEEP HEARING OF OUR PLIGHT.

Stay away from Parcelcompare. A quick search about their trustpilot reviews will tell you what to expect. I used their service less than 24 hours ago and I am currently full of regrets. I needed to send a parcel to Africa and I arrived at ParcelCompare after a couple of google searches. I created account, put all necessary details for the parcel paid, and printed out the 8 pages of document they produced after payment. I took the parcel to the assigned drop-off point and to my greatest surprise, the drop-off point said they offer no international shipping service. I was there arguing for more than 20 minutes why I have been directed there if they don't offer international services etc. I logged back into my account and wanted to get support just to be able to sort out the mess I was in, only to discover that there was no phone number to call. They only have an online contact us form. I needed instant help but none was possible! To add insult to the injury, I decided to cancel the parcel delivery all together, only to be charged £6 cancellation fee. Like seriously? They said I will get refund after 1 week and I am seriously keeping my fingers crossed for that. If I don't get my refund after 1 week, I will be escalating this to my bank's fraud department. After all these, I started reading reviews about them on UK trust pilot and there several hundreds of terrible experience from people who have used their service in the past. They charge your card without your consent, and I'm talking about large amounts that are way more than £1000 in some cases. I have already frozen my bank card and I will be blocking the card and ordering another one after I get my refund. Stay away from ParcelCompare. You have been warned!

Booked Parcelforce 24 this morning, this parcel needs to be delivered to the Post Office by 12. 11:14 no sign of parcel labels. Customer services advised the only option is to WAIT. NO, this is not the only option. Cancel this and refund. Advised the team will contact me regarding refund in due course, Oh my, they certainly are loose with there terminology ! I can see a charge back.

STAY AWAY OR BOOK SERVICES DIRECTLY WITH THE COURIER COMPANY.

I ORDERED PREMIUM FAST TRACK INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY, BUT I COULD NOT POST THE PARCEL BECAUSE THE COMPANY DID NOT SEND ME A CUSTOMS INVOICE.

THE LIVE CHAT IS NOT WORKING AND THE AVERAGE EMAIL REPLY TIME IS 4 DAYS.

They never collected the parcel and despite three calls requesting an update they eventually said the collection had not been booked

I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. THEY SCAM YOU FOR ADDITIONAL CHARGE.

Avoid Parcel Compare like the Plague!
Their nominated carrier (Parcel Force) refused to collect a parcel from my supplier that was within the weight/dimensions limits booked, claiming I had only paid £10 (I had paid £65 to Parcel Compare). I received no notification that the collection had been refused. When I took this up with Parcel Compare I discovered there is nobody there: a Chatbot that directs you to a support email which directs you to the Chatbot. You get the idea. Best just to use them as a means of identifying alternative carriers and then make the booking direct with the carrier itself where there is at least some accountability.

Very poor service , although the chap who I dealt with was very helpful. Ordered and paid for a parcel to be delivered. Price agreed. Parcel arrived 26 hours after it should have. Then lol and behold a week later and extra shipment charge taken from my account with no authorization! Thanks to mark refund rebut overall get poor service and will not use again

Zero stars . Do not use this company ! My parcel arrived at its destination in pieces and they refused to pay out on the insurance despite me buying the higher cover . The box was crushed and had been opened . They tried to accuse me of not packing the item correctly . Totally unimpressed .

I ordered a coffee machine from ebay. The seller used Parcelcompare. The parcel arrived damaged (delivered via parcelcompare by UPS). The complaints procedure for parcelcompare is impossible to deal with. I was supposed to send the product back in the same packaging for review, but the box was soaked and damaged. There was no guarantee the product would come back, and they refused to deal with me, only the seller, who also had exactly the same issues. The same email message was repeated over and over again. They have no interest in dealing with genuine issues. Under no circumstances use this company.

Yes the item was delivered but it arrived damaged. We had taken out protection. First they dismissed the claim on basis of lack of evidence of damage to the packaging (despite evidence of gash/hole in the packing) and after that they said the item was not covered anyway. Suggest to avoid them but if you do read the small print and take photos of everything before and on arrival. Packing is all they care about, if anything.

PLEASE DON'T SEND A PARCEL TO PAKISTAN THEY REQUEST FOR AN EXTORTIONATE AMOUNT IN CUSTOMS (MORE THAN WHAT THE PARCEL CONTENT IS WORTH) AND DELIVERED THE PARCEL DAMAGED/CONTENTS MISSING

Do not use this company. Absolute scam merchants. They will try to rip you off.
In my experience they tried to help themselves to money out of my account (£200+) as a charge for a parcel they claimed was overweight. I contacted the actual couriers, who had moved the parcel in a consignment of other parcels of mine, and they stated categorically they had no problems with that Parcel or any others in that consignment and that there was nothing anomalous about any of it or any others.
I've had arguments with ParcelCompare, submitted photographic evidence showing quite clearly the dimensions and weight given was correct, tried to get a phone number to actually talk to someone (they don't have one of course) to no avail.
Now, they are trying to say ALL of that consignment was wrong in one way or another, which it absolutely wasn't. The couriers themselves have not changed any labels, marked anything in any way, notified me any way and when contacted directly state the shipment was fine. ParcelCompare at this point still haven't actually produced any tangible, solid, believable evidence showing anything wrong with the initial parcel or any of the others.
Incidentally I got a quote to just send that one package they seem to have the initial problem with from the couriers and it would cost just under 10% of what ParcelCompare tried to take from my account.
Reading reviews now, wish I'd done this before but I was rushed, ParcelCompare seem to do this a lot.
I believe this is quite clearly a scam they repeatedly pull.
So as I said, do not use these people. Go to the couriers directly.

They took an extra £80 a week later after I paid £30 for collection. I was told the parcel was audited by UPS and found to exceed the dimensions I quoted, but this is a complete lie. It’s basically a semi-legal way to take money from people.

Absolute fraud, I organised for a large parcel to be taken back to a camping company as the tent I ordered was too big, I was charged £139 for UPS to collect and deliver it back, collected and delivered no problems, two weeks later another invoice is sent saying I owe an additional £1139 in charges, this money was taken from my account at the same time as the invoice was created and somehow without any authorisation from myself, and as I stated the correct size and weight I can not understand why I have these extra charges or how they took the money without my authorisation through the onetime passcode needed, now I have reported to the bank fraud team, but no customer services number to sort out with this company,
