I started by listening to the FREE podcast Nick started. I appreciate how thoroughly each topic is covered. It's easy to move through one after the other, and if you need a refresher on a particular topic the episode titles act as a chapter marker for you. I appreciated the work put into the podcast so much that I knew I would mesh with the online ground school. On top of that, before I purchased I reached out with a quick question, and Nick got back to me extremely quickly with the information I needed.

Part Time Pilot is the most affordable and best bang for your buck when it comes to ground schools. Nick seems to be the only person behind the company but he is a genuine guy that cares about his customers and wants them to be the best pilots they can be. The course is specifically for people who are very self motivated to finish their ground school because this course required lots of reading. The course doesn't get a 5 from me for the simple fact that there are courses out there that are better suited for visual learners and have great illustrations and visuals that help further understand the concepts. Overall, if you want to save money but still get quality material and don't mind a bit of reading, this is your best option for a ground school!

Save yourself time (and money). When I began the search for flight schools in my local area, I was unaware of ground schools and the value they add. While I was finding time to build hours, I felt that the progress I was making was limited because I didn't know how to utilize my non-flying time. Because of that, there was a catching up I did to properly understand the gaps I didn't know about prior to finding Part Time Pilot. I wish I would have started here from the beginning because the course offers practical information that is crucial to preparing for the written and oral exams in ways i felt I wasn't getting from my CFI. The courses here are are taught in a way that is easily digestible and will leave you feeling more confident in your journey to get your PPL. I highly recommend this program.

Having all of the various content media options such as having the lessons with video examples, written word, and Audio versions are extremely helpful to me. I am dyslexic so it means I can listen to the audio versions first while driving for work. Then read thru the written portions, and the videos really hit the message home. I have no doubt with all the great lessons I will not have an issue when it comes to passing my FAA written exam.

I am currently 40% of the way through the online ground school with Part Time Pilot and I have been very impressed. There are so many ways to digest the information, my favorite among them is the audio podcasts that I can listen to while I commute. I have never used any other online ground school so I can’t compare it to anything else but I have been very satisfied with my purchase and I don’t think I’ll ever need to use a different school!

The course really helps organize all of the study material you need and has a lot of resources for student pilots!

Two things that really is making this ground school exceptional:
If you have a question or issue Nick or someone will get back to you FAST.
And I love how organized the material/ program is.
oh, and they are always trying to improve the course.

Part time pilot is a great choice when looking for a ground school it is easy to follow very user friendly and informative. Im a bug fan of the multiple ways you are able to digest the courses 10/10 would recommend.

I started the online ground school almost a year ago in preparation for flight training. Nick and the Part Time Pilot team do a great job of breaking down the material so it is easy to understand. There are a plethora of resources such as YouTube videos, podcast, and the online ground school material from Part Time Pilot that made my pilot training and PAR Written so much quicker and easier. Thanks to Part Time Pilot online ground school I was able to get a 95% on my written and I'm well on my way to taking my PPL check ride with confidence.

I have heard great things about this program and I am just now getting started. Looking forward to see what it offers. I will follow up on this soon.

I found this ground school while searching for aviation podcasts to listen to while working. Once i got through half the podcast episodes i was convinced to enroll in the ground school in preparation for my flight lessons. I was looking for a good value ground school and i definitely found it. Would recommend part time pilot for anyone looking to keep lessons fresh in their mind while they work or go about their day, this is also great for people that learn through multiple learning styles

This is as close to having a private instructor you can get. Throughout the audio ground school, Nick goes over everything possible. If you have question or are uncertain of an area, you can personally email, use the AI Chat function, or put it on Facebook and he is usually the first to respond with an answer and break it down so you’ll understand.

The mnemonics!!! They are silly but that's what helps them stick! Part Time Pilot gives you an easy way to help you remember tons of information. Once I write them, it's easy to recall the information associated with them.

Great program. After using another program and not feeling at all ready I took the leap and purchased Part Time Pilot. In a very short period I felt far more prepared, and even scheduled my written test in under 2 months time.

I'm only about a quarter of the way through right now but this experience has been great. The value compared to others out there is great. Having different options on most lessons between audio, videos, reading material and an AI to bounce questions off of are all helpful resources to take in the information in different ways to really learn and retain it.

I recently discovered the website Part Time Pilot, and it has truly been a game-changer for me. Coming from a non-pilot background, I have had to do all the research on my own. However, after watching their video on the best ground school and exploring their website, I gained incredible information. The support I receive through email is always prompt and helpful, providing me with additional resources. As someone who has always had the dream of becoming a pilot but struggled to find the time and resources to pursue it full-time, this website has been a blessing. I am confident that I will be leaving a positive review after obtaining my PPL.

Awesome resource for your written or to just brush up on and review stuff you need to know before your checkride. I wish I discovered this course sooner because when I did I already took my written. However if I had this course before I took my written I can say with confidence I would’ve gotten above 90%.

Part time pilot is a great ground school, the audio and video is helpful. The study at your pace is good for full time employees who has a limited time. Only wish I would have discovered it sooner.

I Am a new student here, but so far great and i love the facts that he has audio vs having to read everything you can be on the move and still study, i will def refresh my review at the end of my course and exam! Wish everybody the best out there!
