Awful experience, they do not even wash your windows properly! I have had nothing but trouble with them!
Unable to contact them also so you can not discuss the awful job they have done.

Patch App UK — The Definition of Useless

Patch App UK is hands down the most incompetent “service” I’ve ever dealt with. Two months, two booked window cleans — and not a single one happened. Each time, I got the same pathetic excuse: “An issue has occurred, we’ll be in touch.” Spoiler alert: they never are.

They promise reliability, communication, and convenience — they deliver absolutely none of it. Just radio silence and empty promises. I even sent a clear email cancelling the service and asked for a confirmation reply. Naturally, nothing. Because ignoring customers seems to be the only thing they’re consistent at.

This isn’t just bad service — it’s no service. A total waste of time dealing with a company that clearly doesn’t care whether its customers exist.

If you want clean windows, hire literally anyone else. If you want frustration, disappointment, and ghosting worthy of a bad Tinder date, Patch App UK is your company.

Avoid them like the plague.

There seems be a detachment on reality with this business. I've sent (another) email to the email address - and a confirmation screen shot of the SMS they sent advising the they did not if fact clean the windows so where "we have the most recent visit, on the 9th October, as completed on our end" came from im unsure.

i'll reittarate - use at your own risk. I'm done with them.

I've had a really thorough look, and unfortunately cannot see any emails sent to us from yourself, nor any phone calls to us from your mobile number? No emails in the inbox from your email address at all, i'm not sure where these have been sent to? Did you get the auto-response email, that tells you we have got your email and we will be back in touch soon? I personally manage all the emails, and get back to everyone ASAP - `I do not have an email from your email address unfortunately.

I'm sorry to hear both visits haven't been completed. I can see we have the most recent visit, on the 9th October, as completed on our end - hence why we haven't been back in touch?

I've tried to call you this afternoon to have a chat directly, find out why we wouldn't have received your emails and try to fix this for you, but unfortunately there was no answer.

Done 2 cleans

Done 2 cleans, wouldn’t even call it clean. Just came, wet my windows and left. The rain does a better job.

I'm so sorry to hear this is the experience you have had!

I can see you spoke to Nicola in the office about this via email, on the 3rd September - thank you for reaching out to us directly about this. I can see Nicola offered for us to come back to you to re-do the full clean, as we'd have loved to be able to fix it for you then and there, but you politely declined a return visit as "it’s constantly raining anyway". As previously mentioned, if you would like us to return to you, it's not a problem and we'd be happy to do so.

For some of our armed forces veteran window cleaner's, this is their first job since leaving the forces, and so can be finding their feet with it for a few week's whilst they settle and build up their experience. As always, we welcome and encourage any feedback so we can better the service in future.

Wouldn’t recommend this company to ANYBODY 
. The windows look worse now than they did before they attended.

I wouldn’t waste any time on these guys.
The cleaners seem very fed up and half arsed.

Poor service

Poor service. Windows left smeared, dirty, frames hadn't been cleaned, was in attendance for all of 10 minutes. Spent majority of the time txtingbon his phone. Waited 4 weeks for the first clean. I cleaned bottom windows when i got home, and the amount of dirt that came off was unreal! I will not be continuing with these

Be careful with this company

Be careful!

We were approached by a man in the street who admittedly is very good at sales. We said we would think about and offered our contact details for more information to be provided. That was it.

We received no further information until weeks later (today) saying someone was coming to our house, asking us to make sure payment was set up etc...

Immediately this is not what was agreed and if it is I do not recollect confirming or agreeing because the "salesman" was very quick, very energetic and in a rush to what seemed like close a sale and leave!

I did point out that I am a health and safety professional and a member of IOSH and IWFM, working from home I WOULD need to see Risk Assessments and Method Statements before any works began. If an incident happens at my property it could affect my profession.

The reply I received was "oh yeah, all done all sorted, all safe". Funny though... no proof provided.

I have tried calling the contact number multiple times and it does not connect.

The app, on app stores doesnt exist.

Be VERY wary of this company. I asked them to contact me first for a chat, via email. Nobody did. It feels like only when I called them out on social media and a strong email did they suddenly respond. Be careful with this company commit to nothing and do not agree to anything until due diligence is done IMO.

The company has contacted me. Just be careful people. I have amended my rating accordingly

I'm so sorry to hear this! Firstly, the man you spoke to works for a third party sales team that we have hired - he is not an employee of Patch, and unfortunately, he has NOT passed any of this prior agreement to us. This is why no one has gotten in touch with you to "have a chat" - we were not aware this was agreed at all.

We completely understand this isn't at your fault at all, but I just wanted to be clear as to why your clean was scheduled and why we sent messages to you, informing you of this.

In terms of getting in touch with us, unfortunately there was a problem with our phone lines this morning, so i'm so sorry if you weren't able to get through! The error was between 10:00am and 11:55am. We weren't ignoring you, in fact we didn't even know you had attempted to call due to the error.

I can see you emailed today at 10:47am - I replied to your email at 10:56am apologising, and explaining the exact situation, and letting you know I had cancelled the visit and all future visits - it wasn't a problem for us to action at all, and all had been closed down and sorted all before 11am today. I didn't get a reply.

I also replied to you on Facebook messages, letting you know you have a reply over on email, but again I got no reply.

We may be a small team, but we haven't been ignoring you, and we would have happily organised and provided whatever information you needed off us - but as I say, we did not know you were waiting for this.

In terms of our App, it is under construction and we are waiting for both Apple and Google to re-release it to their App Stores - unfortunately we can't hurry this process up anymore than we already are. I'm so sorry for any inconvenience with this. However our website, www.patchapp.uk, is and always has been working just fine.

Thank you for your review and all of the information, as this will be passed on to the management of the sales team we have hired as feedback. It's really valuable to get this information passed over so thank you again.

Poor window cleaning standards and even worse administrative support.

Poor wibdiw vleaning standards. Runs abd streaks, vorners missed etc. Administrative support is chronic. All the right words, but that's about it. Misbilling is not acceptable when this outfit has everything they need to facilitate payment, before the physical clean is carried out.
Avoid and get your windows professionally cleaned!

I'm so sorry to hear this. I can see you contacted us after hours, and emailed in to us last night at 5:25pm. Our contactable hours do end at 4pm, as shown in all email replies, on our website, and in our answer message. I replied to your email the following morning, today at 09:22am, after I tried to phone you but I didn't get an answer. I have asked if you can let us know a time that suits you best, so we can call you.

I'm sorry you're not happy with your clean - I can see this took place over a week ago, but I don't believe you have spoken to anybody directly about it? I'd really like to organise for a full re-clean, at no charge, so if anyone can get back to us via email and/or phone, that'd be great please 😊

I can see you have had many cleans with us now, so i'd love to be able to get back up and running for you as normal!

Unauthorised Work

This company has apparently cleaned my windows and requesting payment for the clean. They are not my regular window cleaners and I have verified my cleaner is still in business and has not sold or passed on details of his round.
Tried to contact by mail, no response, tried to contact by phone unable to get through (ever) and now sent message through social media (awaiting possible response).
In the interim I am getting messages about payments owed.
Sorry may be a genuine cleaning service and may be a genuine error somewhere along the way but equally I would like to know how they got my phone number and why they randomly appeared to clean my windows and due to the fact I cannot get in contact with anyone I am simply left frustrated by the whole thing.

Update ... Spoke to the company and they had my details however the email address was very suspect. The lady on the phone was actually very understanding and removed me from the system. I have adjusted my review however I still think the company was difficult to contact.

I'm sorry if I was on the phone to another customer when you called, unfortunately we are a really small team. The answer message does ask in these instances to please phone back later, or leave an email - but as I say, I don't have an email about this in our inbox?

I can't see how we adopted your information without knowing who you are, but if we have your contact details and your address, we will have gotten in touch with confirmation of the clean being booked, and also a reminder message about the visit sent the day before. We also will have gotten your details off someone who has given them over to us.

Please try and get in touch again, so I can get this fixed for you right away.

Thought I was helping the veterans


Thought I was helping the veterans by using this service. The first clean I was overcharged for, this was acknowledged and they said they will knock it off the next clean. It was booked in but no one then turned up. I got a random text saying they were coming to do my windows but again no one turned up. I’ve tried to call the number, 07840 843834, which doesn’t work and they don’t allow you to cancel by email. I’ve emailed but got no response, impossible to contact. I just want to be rid of this company. They think I owe them money for a non-existent clean. Scam bells are ringing.

I can see you emailed us on the 8th July, and we replied to you on the 9th apologising, as we have recently had a huge tech changeover and there was unfortunately an incorrect balance due on your account. This mistake was not intentional, and your balance to pay was correctly put to zero straight away, as confirmed in the email sent to you on the 9th. We unfortunately still haven't got a reply from you though, when we also asked for some information from you to make sure we had all the correct details and were charging you the correct amount.

I can also see we did turn up on the correct date, which is today 21st July, but someone from your home turned our Armed Forces Veteran cleaner away.
