PDFengine is an online document processing platform that helps individuals, teams, and organizations convert, merge, compress, and manage PDF files — quickly, securely, and without installing software. Our platform supports a wide range of file formats including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, images, and email files (.eml, .msg), all convertible to PDF with a single click. Business users benefit from advanced features such as batch processing, multi-file ZIP uploads, and automated workflows. Dossiers allow users to organize related documents into structured folders, making it easy to manage conversion projects across teams. Whether you're processing client contracts, invoices, or reports, dossiers keep everything in one place. Templates enable repeatable workflows: define your conversion settings, output format, and file naming rules once — then reuse them for every new batch. This saves time and ensures consistency across your organization. PDFengine is designed for organizations that handle high document volumes. Team members can share dossiers and templates within their organization, with role-based access control ensuring the right people see the right files. All files are processed securely, stored temporarily, and automatically removed after processing. PDFen is GDPR-compliant and hosted in Europe.

This did not work well

This did not work well. I my CYMK pdf was missing colours and it somehow changed the resolution on the images. It was unusable.

Hi Andrea, thank you for letting us know, and we are very sorry that it did not worked out. A print that comes back unusable is not what you paid for.

We looked into your conversions from October 17. You mention your PDF was already CMYK. Our RGB to CMYK conversion tool is built for files that are still in RGB: when a file is already CMYK, it gets converted a second time, which shifts the colours.

On top of that, the conversion used our default European print profile, while a North American printer usually expects GRACoL or SWOP. not sure if this is the better choice for you...?
We’re also looking into why the image quality changed.

Please email us at contact@pdfen.com and we can solve it! Tnx Dan
