Pdfhero

⚠️⚠️ Attention arnaque ! ⚠️⚠️

TERRIBLE. Avoid this service.
Not only did the PDF conversion not work, but they also charged a hidden fee. They claim it costs only €0.50, but then charge you a much higher amount without clear warning. This is misleading and unacceptable.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with PDF Hero. I initially paid €0.50 to convert a single PDF to PowerPoint, only to find out later that I was automatically charged €39.90 for a monthly subscription I never explicitly agreed to.

The subscription terms were barely visible—hidden in light grey at the bottom of the page—making it easy to overlook. On top of that, I never received any confirmation email with my login details or purchase confirmation, which is highly unprofessional.

When I reached out to customer support, they refused to issue a refund, despite the fact that their subscription model is clearly misleading. A legitimate company would be transparent about pricing and not rely on deceptive practices to charge users unexpectedly.

I strongly advise against using PDF Hero. There are plenty of reliable alternatives out there that don’t engage in such shady business tactics.

I made a one-time purchase for €0.50 to convert a PDF and thought that was the end of it. Without clear communication or my explicit consent, they enrolled me into a €39.90 monthly subscription — something I never agreed to or was properly informed about.

After researching, I found countless others reporting the exact same issue. This is not a coincidence — it’s their business model: lure you in with a cheap trial and then silently lock you into an expensive subscription. When confronted, they refuse to refund the money, hiding behind vague terms that were never clearly communicated upfront.

This practice is deceptive, unethical, and borders on fraud. If you value your money and don’t want to deal with shady business practices, stay far away from this company.

I will be reporting this to my bank and consumer protection agencies. Don’t fall for this trap.

SCAM Incorrectly billed me €39.90 less than 7 days. Refusing refund now. Would have gladly paid more for one off service.

Scandaleux
Et impossible avoir remboursement

Don't use it: it's scam. Paid 0,50 cents to convert a document and it didn't even work (server error). Without any notification they charged a subscription after of 39EUR. They didn't refund it.

Don’t trust this site. You pay 0,50 for one pdf conversion and get a subscription for 40 euro’s!
Working for a company like that is criminal!

never did I sign up for this, paid 50cent to use the service and 2 days later get billed 40€ wild.
AWFUL WEBSITE and way of doing business.

ABZOCKE!!!!!!!! 39,9€ Abo

1 Stern noch zu viel!!!!!! - Sterne würde ich geben!!!!!

Achtung Abofalle!!!
Vom Widerrufsrecht hält man hier nichts.
