The process was far easier than I had anticipated, which made a daunting situation much less stressful. Sharon was highly responsive and helpful, and my solicitor Georgina was kind, understanding, knowledgeable, and prompt with all her advice.
I would not hesitate to use Pearsons again, and have a friend who has also recently had a positive experience with Pearsons.

Great service overall from Pearson Solicitors. Alan was fast to reply to emails and provided me with non-legal-jargon, understandable advice. Alan also provided me with valuable feedback which I used to solicit an amended contract before signing.

I chose Pearson Solicitors after seeing an article on land-splitting online. I obtained a quote which was very reasonable. I sold the land at auction on 23rd July 2025.

However it took till mid November 2025 to complete on the sale due to delays in releasing the land from the mortgage providers / releasing a charge on the mortgage.

I have been trying to remortgage my part of the land, since late December. On 12th Jan 2026 the land registry sent a requisition to the solicitors involved in the sale to obtain the correct information required to allow for defining of land borders; and create separate titles.

It is now March 30th, 8 months after the land was sold, and I still don't have land registry documents to allow me to remortgage.

I would not recommend using Pearson Solicitors for future land splitting sales due to the length of time this has taken.

I would however like to commend them that in January they reviewed their accounts and realised they had not released all the monies to me. Thus I can state that they are honest and have robust financial audit / accounting processes.

Myself and my wife needed our wills updating. Joanne Jones handled the matter for us in a professional & friendly manner. She explained everything, including the wording, clearly and in terms we could understand. In addition to bringing the wills up-to-date she made useful suggestions which we adopted. From an initial meeting to signing our new wills only took a few weeks.

Although it seemed expensive at first we feel it was money well spent. We now have the peace of mind that, when we are no longer here, our wishes will be fulfilled.

Great communication & successful outcome

We had a very complicated house purchase that was handled by Michelle Ong. Michelle was great at keeping us in the loop - always replying to phone calls and emails. Michelle was very aware of our situation with regard to the purchase and understood the urgency of working towards a definitive date for Completion and she ensured that all paperwork from our side was ready and duly signed. Unfortunately not everyone else was as prepared as Michelle who pulled out all the stops to ensure it happened the next day. If Michelle hadn't been so persistent, Completion would definitely not have happened when it did. So, big thanks and appreciation from us for getting us over the line!

Ms S Finnigan knew our needs and delivered an extremely efficient service.

I have recently bought and sold property. I researched several local companies to find quotes for the conveyancing.
The rates and reviews led me to make contact with Pearsons. I was promptly contacted by Emma who listened to my requirements and provided an acceptable quotation for both my sale and onward purchase.
Throughout to completing the process Emma was thorough and informative, even when some tedious issues raised by the buyers solicitors needed to be dealt with.
The reception staff at the offices were always helpful as well.when I needed to pass items of correspondence in. Or when answering the telephone. I would recommend Pearsons for their professional approach to matters leaving a high sense of confidence that things were dealt with correctly.

A very disappointing response from Pearsons. Despite agreeing my initial enquiry was exactly the sort of case they could assist with, my subsequent follow up was turned down with a very terse response claiming a lack of capacity to take on new work, despite the website as of today inviting new customers to submit their details. A very unprofessional approach to customer care.

I highly recommend Pearsons. Hajirah and her team handled my house sale and it was done very efficiently and she kept us informed and up to date at every stage of the process. They had an app which tracked progress which was useful and finally the offices where they are located are absolutely immaculate.

Sarah Finigan helped us with our will, she made the whole process very easy to understand and answered all our questions with careful consideration and empathy.
