I could not have asked for a better mentor when picking up pedal steel. Jon was so generous with his time/advice and has given me the perfect start to my journey. Look nowhere else for a London based teacher!
I took Jon's introductory pedal steel guitar session and thoroughly enjoyed it!
With a lack of pedal steel guitars and their teachers around, I really wanted to find out if it was something that I would enjoy doing before I took the plunge and bought one. Travelling the 90mins by car to personally be taught by Jon and play a pedal steel was so worth it. Jon's introductory session was perfect! Inspiring! Accessible! and most importantly fun! Visiting his home teaching setup, he provided me with the skills and confidence to go away and practise immediately. I've totally got the bug for pedal steel guitar now, all because of Jon. Not only have I bought a pedal steel guitar to practise on, but also booked more lessons too. Thanks Jon!
