Penn Station East Coast Subs レビュー 

I have been a regular customer of the Xenia Ohio Penn-Station since they opened. THe last few years this site has gone downhill fast. It has gone through so many managers no wonder the employees are are so upset. I orderd a grilled Itaian sub and got a chicken terryaki. I ordered cheesebread with light pizza sauce and the sauce soaked through the bun, wrapper and bag. I always get carryout as the chairs inside are usually dirty.

I have eaten at the North Broadway, Fountain City Tennessee location from the opening nearly 15 years ago. once or twice a month. I think last night will be the last. It seems to have been tracking downward for several months and while I have tried to hang on it isn't possible. The cost vs. the quality of the food produced isn't worth the value anymore. The fries that would rival any tasted like the oil hadn't been filtered or changed in days maybe a week or more. The bread is the only part to eat now the first inch and last on the sandwiches I have ordered. The amount of fixings are seemingly non existent. more veggies than meat and even they are limited.

I am new to the Pittsburgh area and recently bought a Chicken Teriyaki sub from this establishment.
My thoughts are pretty straightforward. One of the best subs I have ever had outside New York City. I’ve lived in several large cities, NYC, Denver, Chicago, and DC and I have to say that Penn Station is one the best food options in the Pittsburgh suburbs. Overall, I’ve found the food options here to be mediocre but Penn Station bucks the norm. Why? Well, the bread is very good. I don’t know what kind of bread they use for their subs but it’s fantastic. Now, the only thing that comes close from a national chain is Jimmy John’s. The bread is not the only thing that is great about the subs. The Teriyaki sauce is very good. Maybe a bit salty but it hits the spot. The chicken is high quality and the onions and cheeses really add to the accompaniment. If you wanted to compare national sub chains, I’d say that Penn Station is right up there with Potbelly’s and Jimmy John’s and a bit better than Firehouse. Highly recommended for those looking for a quality sub sandwich.
